Rated 5 out of 5 by nice stay at central location very nice experience in terms of service, accomodation and SPG recognition. the hotel runs a main and a towers section like sheraton hongkong. however, we stayed in the main building and saved the 70$ upgrade to towers which was fine. excellent club lounge and good room conditions - so nothing to miss. staff was very attentive and the best guest treatment i have experienced was in vietnam. thumbs up! Rated 4 out of 5 by The room air conditioner is not working The air conditioner is not good, it can't change the temperature. Sometimes it's too hot, but sometimes it's too cold. I got flu because of this. Also, the air conditioner exit is directly blow to the people who is working on the table. I started to feel headache after I spent an hour to work on the table. As a business hotel, you know we spent quite a lot of time to work in the room. March 8, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by No better places to stay than Sheraton Kudos to the Sheraton IT team! I stayed for 5 days in the Suites Tower and the room wifi did not work with my Iphone. Mr. Kiet and his team had provided an excellent services to make sure my wifi works. Also kudos to the cook and services team in the lounge (fifth floor). Their attentive to the guests needs are superb. Thanks the cook and the It again. January 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has an excellent staff with great ammenitites Our stay at the Saigon Sheraton couldn't have been better. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and all the food facilities in the hotel were excellent from sumptuous buffets to fine dining in the restaurants, plus the rooftop bar. The rooms were large and tastefully done. Equal to any five star hotel we've stayed in. January 17, 2014

The buffets were amazingly good, elegantly displayed and served. I highly recommend this hotel to "anyone" visiting Saigon. TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE! January 12, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stay at Sheraton Saigon I have been a SPG member for maybe 20 years. I stayed on a Club floor. And you wanted to charge for wi-fi in the room. Simply unacceptable. Almost no half decent hotels charge for wi-fi anymore, and many other hotels in the SPG stable do not charge for in- room wi-fi. No good saying it is free in the lobby. Makes you look like just another struggling establishment. Perceptions are everything and your lack of marketing ability leaves a bad taste. December 28, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Platinum member non-recognition Guest Services Manager, Mr. Vu Hu has ruined my trip to Saigon with my family before it even started. His staff provided me with information that my room would have a pull out couch, but with 5 days left to start my vacation, he called to inform me that there are no pull out couches in the hotel and that I will need to pay $50/day to rent a roll away. He would not waive this fee despite the error on his behalf. On top of that, he indicated that my 4 and 6 year old children will also be charged $12.50 each per day for staying at the hotel to apparently cover Club room access charges. I completely agree that this hotel is stingy and does not recognize Platinum status of their valued guests. December 21, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Efficient staff I had a function in the hotel and I left my blazer in the ballroom. I called the hotel a few hours after that and they helped me to find back my blazer within 1/2 hour. I was really happy as that blazer meant a lot to me. We had arrived at the hotel earlier that the check-in time as our flight was early in the morning. They helped us to check in earlier which enabled us to enjoy our shopping after that. Went to level 23 bar and sat down though lots of employees no one served me in 15 minutes waiting I left. There was fruit in my room the first day but I put a note "no bananas" no fruit rest of stay. Rated 3 out of 5 by Saigon, very busy hotel. I was not recognized as a SPG Platinum member during check-in. When I reminded the clerk she mentioned that all of the Executive floor level rooms were full and offered me an upgrade if I was willing to pay another $100USD/night. I ended up on the lowest floor with a smile and an apology. Other than that my stay was as expected. November 15, 2013

A very busy and exhausting business trip was made much easier by the service and the attention to detail of the staff. Great food also. Thanks, I hope to return soon. November 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The hotel staff are excellent We have stayed at the Sheraton towers every single time we visit Vietnam. Would not consider any other hotel when in Saigon. The staff are attentive, friendly and looked after all our needs, especially helpful as we were travelling with a 3 year old and 9 month old. Thank you October 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel have old fittings When I check in the staff was helpful as I request for a higher floor room. After some checking she check me into a room which is not a SPG prefers room floor. I have request for a late check out on my check out time and she told me the hotel is full and she could only extend my check to 2pm which told her I am okay with it. On reaching the room I found the carpet and fitting to be old. The chest drawers will not stay close and I my legs run into it a few time during the night as I was walking to the toilet. On the first night I saw a few insert clawing up and down the walls. Not sure if it is the same one. I can't identify it as it run off as I get closer to have a look. On check out another issue as the late check out was not indicated on the computer and they want to change me a half day fees. It was not a nice and easy check out. and it took more time to check out then to check in. On the whole I did not really enjoy my stay there. Thank October 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Hospitality We visited SGN in April, then decided to go on the Mekong River Cruise so we opted to stay at the Sheraton again. We are senior leisure travelers, who enjoy touring, shopping and eating, but need a comfortable, clean and safe hotel. Sheraton Saigon met all our expectations and more. The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is great, close to shopping areas, historical spots and many excellent restaurants. The breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor has a lavish spread and the Mojo Café provides refreshing drinks and snacks as you watch all the activity on Dong Khoi. Both the standard and tower rooms are comfortable with more luxury and amenities in the tower with an awesome club lounge. Our flight departure was very late but we were accommodated with a late check out and permitted to wait in the lounge after checking out. After 2 stays here, I highly recommend this hotel. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Hotel in Saigon's Best Location This hotel was perfectly situated in the center of town for walking down Dong Khoi to the river, visiting museums, and enjoying great restaruants. It was great to take a dip in the outdoor pool each night after a hard day of souvenir-hunting and walking. I have a question about the fragrance in the lobby - is it a particular flower or plant? Rated 1 out of 5 by Stingy. 2nd visit to this property, great disappointment. Bright side first: Staffs are well trained. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. They really did whatever they can to make your stay more convenience and enjoyable. The whole property is a bit aged but still properly maintained. Excellence location, trustworthy taxis always standing by outside the entrance. Buffet breakfast on the 1/F is nice, not enough choices though. The room is quite old, mattress a bit cave in, dirt found in the bath tub. Generally acceptable, but renovations suggested. The dark side: Although I'm a platinum member, I won't expect being treated like a king - well, plat members are everywhere anyway. Yet, the stinginess of the hotel management really makes me sick. Giving you a slightly bigger room (trust me,not much different) and call it a "best available upgrade". Guess I should kowtow for that. Booked a club room for my travel companions and, guess what: The in-room internet is NOT complimentary even for club rooms. Wow. I should be glad that I'm a plat member again: I saved several pennies for that! So what's the point of getting a club room? Just because of that small lounge? Three pressings per stay? Come on. If my loyalty are being rewarded this way in the property, the only thing I could say is the hotel management don't really treasure my patronage, while their staffs really did. In terms of value for money, this property totally failed. Not bad for overnight stopovers, but don't expect too much. September 18, 2013
