Rated 5 out of 5 by Used to great treatment Despite the Hotel being virtually sold out and the rates unusually high due to this I managed to book one night paid-one night points. As usual I was given my favorite room type, the junior suite with balcony and on club level. The entire staff was very attentive and as usual very welcoming! I look forward to spending more time there in the near future! May 17, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Standard Hotel I expected more luxury for a Sheraton Hotel in Oporto. Though the externally it seams very nice, inside the rooms are standard like a 3 or 4 star hotel. The carpet on the ground should be reviewed. The Bathroom was not functional (there was no towel heater and the towel support was away from the shower cabinet). The door on the shower cabinet was not blocking the water from flooding the ground. The Internet was not free and there was a fee of 3€ for an hour which is no longer used. Even I have put the "do not disturb" card on the door, there was a Maid knocking at my door for the wrong delivery of a toothpaste (which by the way should already be on all the rooms). If you don't mind to pay for the car parking, it is available for the amount of 9€/day (which was not included on my voucher). Car parking around was not difficult as it was an holiday. May 2, 2013
April 29, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstandng hotel 1. The lighting in the room needs major improvement. 2. Lighting in the Fitness area needs improvement. 3. Food service in the Piano Bar was excellent and the preparation and presentation was wonderful. However, I I order Tuna rare, I mean rare throughout and not just the center. Staff wise, your concierge is superb, Abel, Elsbete, and Francesco Look forward to coming back April 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great staff and great facilities Great facilities especially the rooms, spa and bar. Hotel looks brand new. Great staff friendliness, from the people at reception to the cleaners, the guy at the gym, the luggage guys.. The safe didn't work properly and immediately someone was sent to fix it. Location is good, near metro. Though not so many choices to eat or shop nearby. The only negative points: - restaurant is just OK, and slightly overpriced - probably too many people at the spa - 20 euros per person are charged in advance at check in, like a "deposit", and services are also charged to the credit card almost in real time instead of waiting to check-out. Makes the customer feel anxious that they will charge too much. April 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good business hotel We had a good stay. Comfortable room (huge bed) & good staff throughout. There is no free wi-fi in the rooms - major fail for a business hotel. Breakfast left much to be desired the one morning we did try it - long queues for a table & the buffet wasn't refilled enough. Staff weren't coping. The drinks at the bar are over priced & the 5 Euro tray charge for room service is steep. There was mildew in our shower. The hotel isn't close to the city but the metro line is about a 15 minute walk away... I didn't use the facilities (spa, gym etc.) but they did look good. April 1, 2013
