Rated 5 out of 5 by A small beautiful hotel This is a small, most comfortable hotel in the vicinity of the Munich Airport. The rooms are very nicely furnished and have all facilities of a luxury hotel. The restaurant is superb. May 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Last Stay Greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome back. Check-in was efficient even though it was very busy. complementary water in the room is a nice touch. choice of places to eat, depending on your appetite or preference for surroundings. Only down side is if you choose to take a taxi which i do the taxi drivers are very rood and i have mentioned this to the reception a few time, its not good for the hotels reputation to have screaming taxi drivers almost dump you out of the car, when you come from the airport, its a distance thing May 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very friendly All of the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. One specific good idea was to allow people to take dinner prior to check-in when the queue to checkin was rather large due to a coach of people arriving at the same time. This showed fore-thought which was definitely appreciated by a number of tired travellers - including myself. Only negative point was that the pool wasn't open all day (I was unusual as I spent much of the day at the hotel awaiting colleagues) so hoped to swim around lunchtime, but the pool closed late morning and didn't open again until about 4pm. Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a most pleasant smallish hotel in a super location With such pleasant and helpful associates, a guest really is made to feel like home. The hotel offers all facilities of a modern hotel and is located very conveniently close to the airport. May 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quiet, very comfortable, and confidently located near...not in...the airport. Looking forward to coming back to Munich and staying here prior to my return flts to the states. April 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Hotel is very comfortable Dinner was not to the standarts April 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Location Good business Hotel nearby airport an Munich. Overall experience was good but did not meet the extra. Fitness center is under standard to my expectations. Rooms are adequate and silent which is good since close to airport. Professional and friendly staff. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A few comments I stay in this hotel many times. I like it a lot, especially because of the great staff!!!!!! Real fantastic people!!!! The facilities are maybe less good. I have 2 main comments: 1. Internet connection is sometimes not good. I like to work before dinner and then during dinner like to watch news from Belgium (via video streaming). Sometimes the connection is so bad this does not work 2. Food. The last couple of years the quality of the restaurant has been deteriorted. To me it is not the standard I expect from Sheraton. I would like to see more refined dishes (no big hump of wet salad below some pieces of fish of meat) and a regular updated menu. These two point sometime make me wonder if I should change hotel. Fortunately the staff at your hotel is so great that I like to stay. But please fix the issues! April 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable and easy access to airport via shuttle I stayed in this hotel twice, once at the beginning of a trip after arriving in Germany from the USA and then again at the end of my trip just before I returned home. The staff were friendly overall. When I checked in after a long flight from the USA, it was morning and I could not get a room right away. So, the staff graciously let me place my bags in a storage room, gave me an internet access code and a table in the restaurant where I could work and eat until the room was ready. There was a lot to choose from for the breakfast buffet. The bedding was soft and comfy. The room was of a nice size and a convenient desk was present. It was very quiet in the room so that I could sleep off the jet lag once I could check in. Self-made coffee was also present in the room. I would definitely visit again. The rooms could probably use more outlets near the desk for computer equipment and other electronic devices, but that is only a minor problem. There were plenty of outlets in the rest of the room. The hotel is located in a fairly remote area and thus there is no night life, but I'm not someone who wants that kind of thing, anyway. I just want a great restaurant, which is what is available in the hotel. There was only one thing that was annoying. There seems to be a lot of confusion about the airport shuttle costs for children. I was traveling with my 13-year old son. Posted on the sign at the Munich airport at the shuttle stop was the cost of the shuttle per person per way (5 Euros). Also, posted was a note that kids under a certain age were free. I don't remember anymore if it was 15 or 18 years of age. I do remember distinctly that the age was clearly above my son's age of 13. When we arrived via shuttle at the hotel, I asked about the cost and after the staff consulted with each other they confirmed that the shuttle was free for my son. However, on our second stay, there was different staff at the front desk. When we checked in, I asked for tickets for the next morning for the shuttle back to the airport and got them. The staff also agreed that my son was free. When I checked out in the morning, there was yet another person at the desk, someone whom I had not seen before. When he asked about tickets for the shuttle, I mentioned that I had already gotten them and that I was told that my son was free. The staff person told me that I was wrong about the free part. He also said that he was adding another 5 Euros to my bill to account for my son's ticket. After I tried to explain the discussions with staff and the signage at the airport he told me that they were all wrong, he was right, and that the age limit was UNDER 12. (By the way, there was no mention of an age limit for a free ride at the hotel or online.) Frankly, I really don't care if I pay another 5 Euros or not for my son, but it was very disconcerting and uncomfortable for this staff person to suddenly negate all of the other people who had told me otherwise. I would suggest that they get their story straight about the age limit for the free rides to avoid the uncomfortable discussions like the one I had. March 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent service at this hotel My husband and I just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had really great service. The beds are wonderful at this hotel. We enjoyed the pool with it's surprising bubblers and jets. A bar in the pool area is really nice after a long day. There is also 3 saunas to choose from. Breakfast is good, but expensive. The restaurant is sub par. Eat somewhere else for lunch or dinner. Don't worry about noise from the airport. It's really quiet. March 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good if you just want to rest Its a decent hotel with good fitness & spa facilties. Decent choice of food. However, if you want to visit the city it is really bad choice. It is badly connected to the public transportation. March 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Food We were happy with everything except the shower (too small, too cold water, no pressure in the water which makes it hard to rinse out schampo) and the breakfast. It was very discriminating to be shown to the bar and a tiny breakfast instead of eating with the rest of the guests. March 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Stay at Sheraton The facility, friendliness of the staff, and proximity to the airport were excellent. We were please that the hotel restaurant was open for dinner at 11 pm, which was much appreciated after a long day. The major problem was the bed, which was far to soft, and was two double beds joined together as a king. It was uncomfortable for myself and my wife, who did not sleep well. In addition, the hair dryer was not powerful enough for a woman to dry her hair. February 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton - Munich Airport Excellent service - in particular the helpfulness of all staff, duty manager (Mr. Anderson) deserves specific mention and commendation. Pool and facilities great and breakfast fantastic. February 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Airport Hotel War welcome from the staff, very pleasant junior suite and very clean. Great nights sleep with a very comfortable bed. Lots of pillows, just very nice. Breakfast was very good and I had lunch there as well which was excellent. 10-15 minutes from the airport, 20 euros in taxi, 5 in shuttle. Wifi not great but apart from that issue I had a great stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by A good stay, extended. I originally booked for one night, but when Hurricane Sandy made return to the US impossible for four days, I decided to continue on at the Sheraton. The hotel is very comfortable and small enough so that the staff can give individual attention to guests. They are very helpful. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The shuttle bus to the airport runs every half hour and provides access to the airport and to the Munich S-Bahn November 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by phenomeal Coming from someone as picked as i am take my advise, book, stay, and eat there Breakfast was excellent (two tiers) and lower than any breakfast at ANY hotel in the area, and level. Never felt better, from the reception, to the welcoming staff. September 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Munich The hotel was ok. The staff was howver ill informed our travel to downtown. We were advised that there was construction work and that the train was to close. We decided to take a taxi which cost 70 euros. The train line was really open as we made our way back from downtown on the train after getting information at the HBF. There were no transfer or shuttling required. August 8, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Room layout I booked very early prior trip but was given a room that had the ceiling slated so much that my head hit the ceiling in some parts of the room and my work desk - the table lamp could not stand straight unless i moved it to the centre of the table - giving me less than half the table for workspace with my computer etc!!! Horrible room layout ! August 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Accomodations and Food Our stay was perfect from the start. We were picked up on time at the hotel bus stop at the Munich Airport and the driver was friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze with the staff suggesting we grab a snack at bar, since our arrival was after 11pm. The bartender was fabulous!! He was prompt with everyone's order and I have never seen a bar that was so clean. The stainless steel sparkled! On our second night, he even remembered the appetizer we had the night before. The rooms were neat and clean, and the king bed (2 twins), was large and wonderfully comfortable. Our room overlooked the tranquil garden. Quite a variety of TV channels were offered, along with internet connections. We had the best rest of our two week vacation at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is a bit pricy, but the the quality and variety of food more than made up for it. Great pretzel bread and sausages. Dining at the bar was very good off of the limited menu - try the french fries, and dinner in the restaurant was great. Had the weiner schnitzel and a salad entree. Both were very flavorful and tasty - the chef's personal style came through on each one. Try an ice cream dish for dessert as they use premium quality ice cream and chocolates! The staff was very helpful with our transportation questions we had for Munich, as the local train stations were closed in all major East-West runs for construction that weekend. The guidance they gave us was extremely helpful and minimized our switching of trains. Our last night we sat outside on the patio having drinks. The lager was superb. Being close to the airport you could hear all of the planes overhead. However, once you entered the hotel everything was quiet, as they did a great job with soundproofing. You would never know that you were close to the airport. I would stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Munich August 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Value for Money Just 10 minutes by Taxi from Airport and quite convenient for Biz traveller. Even the hotel is very normal Sheraton but the price was unbeatable. The room was clean and well organized and the staff were very kind enough. We also enjoyed nice not German but "Bayerisch" Breakfast. Danke! July 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Best choice at munich airport The Sheraton Munich Airport is a nice hotel in the final approach. The plane noise is not disturbing even you can watch them land. For a stay before or after a flight absolutely the best choice. The F&B is very tasty especially the beer garden in summer with local cuisine. June 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Athmosphere Just love the country style ambience combined with a high class hotel. Perfect mix so close to the Munich airport. December 15, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect My wife and I always stay at this Sheraton when we travel for both business and pleasure. The entire staff are professional and friendly always willing to accommate. The location to the airport is also another reason. Would recommend this hotel to all. February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gerne wieder Wir hatten eine Tagung in diesem Hotel, es wurde rasch und flexibel auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, die gastronomische Versorgung war hervorragend. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen. April 27, 2015
February 16, 2015
