Actually, I stayed for 3 nights & I was disappointed, many issues that force me not repeat it again... I have recently joined SPG program & decided to go over this chain after a very good experience in other Sheraton Hotels over the Middle East but after this stay I have to advise my colleagues & my company as well to look for a better hospitality in Tunis.
First, when I checked in, the garbage was full from the previous guest & it was disgusting... I believe that if this small thing wasn't perfectly done so for sure the bed cover & sheet wasn't changed.
In addition, no cotton swap in the bathroom, no slipper, small towel are replaced with bath towel, not even a small mirror to shave. I can understand that all these are not required but not in a SPG hotel ranked as 5 stars Hotel.
Last but not least, the food was disgusting specially the dine-in food.. I ordered a burger on my last night of stay & I was shocked when the guy delivered it to my room with a very old bread moldy.. I'll attach a pic to see how disgusting it was.
I even wasn't OK with the order I did it on my first night & I even returned back the food as it is but unfortunately no one from the restaurant give himself the pain to ask why, as if no manager caring for customer satisfaction.
Really the worst stay I've ever did in my life, I even spent nights in 3 stars hotels & it wasn't that much bad & I should think twice before I repeat it again.

I am a regular visitor of this Sheraton with average 3/4 stays a year, for the past 7 years. The hotel is undergoing a major rehabilitation programme of its rooms and later I guess will extend to lobby area, bar etc.. it was really in need of such work! congratulations! Even with this renovation the staff keeps the same friendly attitude and helpful mood as ever. It is a meeting point of many locals as well as business people coming to Tunis. It is not as Luxurious as many other Sheratons but it has a good location to the city centre and with all the necessary amenities, that a hotel of this kind needs to have. I always stay at the Sheraton whenever there is availability. This last stay in November was special as it was my wife´s birthday...and we had a great reception! Many thanks!

fantastic staff, helpful, very professional.
Lobby and lobby bar furnitures should be refurbished .
Room very comfortable and clean. some dirts spot on chair and carpet.
Walima restaurant : very good, but make sure that waiter unerstand the customers' expectations.
In summary... one place to stay when being in Tunis

While the staff tried their best to make it a pleasant stay, there is only so much they can do with the dated facilities and rooms. Staff is super friendly, but rooms are not very clean (stained chairs, torn curtains, broken furniture). My room had a shower and a tub but the shower couldnt really be used cause the way its placed lets all the water flow out to the main bathroom floor. The internet has improved since my last stay there but to get strong signal i still had to be in the bathroom or somewhere close to the door otherwise i had to work with one bar and constant disconnection. The restaurant didnt have several items on the menu and what they had wasnt at Sheraton/SPG standards. The country is undergoing a major transition and many businesses are opening up in Tunis. I urge the SPG program to put this hotel on the list for a makeover, an update and a training. If i wasnt an SPG elite member i would have chosen some of the other brand new hotels that opened in Tunis recently.

I truly enjoyed the night I spent at the Sheraton. The facilities were beautiful, and the restauratns Walima and L'Oliveraie were fantastic. The service was prompt and polite and helpful, and I didn't have any questions because they were answered before I could ask them.

I stay in Sheraton Tunis twice a year since 3 years and 2weeks ago organised our regional meeting there with 30persons coming. All of them asked us not to do it there again.
.connecting to the internet is so complicated and even expensive.
we took a small meeting room n the business center for a side discussion and after lunch had to wait 30min on the door bcz the person wIth the key went to lunch....
room baLconey door is so old and do not close at all
the worst is on check out. the system broke down for 40min, they obliged us to wait and we could miss our flights. we offered to give the money and leave but receptionists obliged us to wait

the hotel is very big and confortable has a nice pool area and indoor pool the staff are incredible helpful and nice making you stay a great holiday, is a place for a big Wedding or event they organised amazing i had the oportunity to view a wedding and was incredible, the hotel has two areas one a big traditional and other more modern nevertheless both area has big room with seating area and balcony. the hotel is very close from airport and few min from city but you need a taxi however isn't expencer the trick is pay with coins :) enjoy your stay as is Tunis really a great country to visit
