I was staying in this hotel before his new look.. I am very testify and feeling conformable with new design and look...
Room was very quiet and conformable to have a good sleep ..
I have to use rental car, there is always where to park your car , and security on the gate are very professional and smiley people,.
The only issue not so big was the Green Chose program, I have to requested but not received the vouchers ..
Overall , very nice and quiet place where you cab stay

Rated 5 out of 5 by ElCid Excellent Staff And Great Location
I stayed in the Sheraton Tunis for two nights and it was fantastic; the staff was amazing. we had a bad incident with our airline and the staff allowed us to return to our room, after checkout, three times in order to wait for our delayed flight! Truly professional.
Great service and excellent food; their morning buffet is delicious and it is incredibly close to everything in Tunis.
Security is also very good: not a single car and/or person would be allowed to come in without being checked. We felt very safe at a great location.
Highly recommend it with family or friends.

Watch your credit card ! Tunesian currency is quote confusing to european banks and might lead to wrong conversions.

This was my second trip to Tunis and my second stay in this hotel. I must say I have not experienced such a friendly staff before. They staff are down to earth, polite and very friendly. The stay was great and the room was fine. I was hoping for a nicer upgrade taking into consideration my platinum level but I can't complain. The room was not bad at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by gathomps Poor Training/Management
Even after reading reviews online that gave this property only a 57% favourable rating, I decided that for piece of mind on my first night in the capital, I would go Starwood. I sought Starwood Ambassador assistance in confirming an airport transfer upon arrival, as the hotel was not replying to emails (a sign of things to come). The Ambassador quoted 14 TND, and I was good to go in an older shuttle van with a driver that was friendly and on-time. Kudos to the driver and a good start. I arrive at the front desk and the room rate is wrong and they trumpet the fact that I was given a renovated room. Wow. The hotel is nowhere near full and there are still junior suites, suites or club floor rooms available on the SPG App. Again, a sign of things to come. We agree I should email the correct rate to them and the email address for the front desk staff is given as a personal hotmail.fr account because they do not have access to the hotel inbox. Poor management strikes again. Even when I send the correct rate email as back-up, they claim that they can do nothing about it - why waste my time? Again, this indicates to me either poor training, poor management (or both). Finally, they agree to provide the key to my deluxe room overlooking a garbage dump of renovation material, etc. I am advised that someone will contact me at 10 am to go over the rate correction. In the morning, it is not the sound of birds chirping that wakes me up but jackhammering and drilling either above or below my room (or both), since I go to have a shower and the water is golden to yellowish and the drain is plugged, no matter what I do (I am advised later that they bathrooms are still not fully renovated). Since I am now, I head for breakfast in the Club Lounge and am advised that it shuts down at 10, not 1030. There is a Lavazza coffee machine, so things do not look half bad. I try to start it, but too many cartridges "please empty, en francais". Not a problem, I empty it. The, "out of water, en francais", so I fill it with water myself. Then there are no espresso cups around. Seriously? I finally manage to track a staff member down and get my espresso and head to the PC work stations, but even though they are new with the recentish renovations, one is out of service and the other will not sign in. I walk away. Then I decide to track down the person responsible for fixing the rate issue. This Club Manager advises me that Starwood made the error - they did not - and that do I expect compensation? I should not have to expect anything, just do things right the first time. I advise her that Starwood did not make the error because I have proof it was confirmed days ago at the correct rate and after some clicking on her PC, we find out that the Club Lounge staff member who was generous enough to give me a 1 category room upgrade changed the room rate (likely in a clueless human error). So after blaming Starwood and denying any responsibility for their own error, I get a blank stare. Rather than extend my stay, I decide to change properties all together and as a I head back to my room, the key no longer works. Heading back for my folio and working key, the airport transfer has now nearly doubled to 25 TND (even thought the Ambassador and their own website quotes 14 TND). The Club Lounge staff member advises me that she can not adjust it. At this point, I just left to pack and then grab a taxi. Overall, not a good first night in Tunisia. I enjoyed the city more than I expected I would, but for the rates this property tries to charge, give this property a pass.

I have stayed in Sheraton Tunis during business trip for one week this month. I usually do not write reveiews, but this time will be the exception.
Check-in was fine. During first and second breakfast we were not offered tea and coffee, staff gave us just the bill. Food is not convinient for breakfast but for light lunch. You can choose from grapefruits and grapefruits, completely no choice. Waiting for staff to have pancakes can take 15 minutes and nobody will get interested in. Sometimes you need to give up because you do not have time for that. When we sitted after breakfast discusing business matters, we were told to sit somewhere else. Quite suprissing.
Staff is not interested in their work. We asked at reception two days in a row for a tourist map. We were told that there is no map, second time to go to the shop.
Final thing. Wing of the hotel I have stayed in was not prepared for guests. It was during renovation. Dirt and dust everywhere, drilling from 7 o'clock. Construction site workers hammering all the day. If that would be a laissure stay, I would just leave after first night. I do not care much for such things but in this case it was not acceptable.
This hotel is a hudge dissapointment. Everything except the gym is below expectations and value/price.

Actually, I stayed for 3 nights & I was disappointed, many issues that force me not repeat it again... I have recently joined SPG program & decided to go over this chain after a very good experience in other Sheraton Hotels over the Middle East but after this stay I have to advise my colleagues & my company as well to look for a better hospitality in Tunis.
First, when I checked in, the garbage was full from the previous guest & it was disgusting... I believe that if this small thing wasn't perfectly done so for sure the bed cover & sheet wasn't changed.
In addition, no cotton swap in the bathroom, no slipper, small towel are replaced with bath towel, not even a small mirror to shave. I can understand that all these are not required but not in a SPG hotel ranked as 5 stars Hotel.
Last but not least, the food was disgusting specially the dine-in food.. I ordered a burger on my last night of stay & I was shocked when the guy delivered it to my room with a very old bread moldy.. I'll attach a pic to see how disgusting it was.
I even wasn't OK with the order I did it on my first night & I even returned back the food as it is but unfortunately no one from the restaurant give himself the pain to ask why, as if no manager caring for customer satisfaction.
Really the worst stay I've ever did in my life, I even spent nights in 3 stars hotels & it wasn't that much bad & I should think twice before I repeat it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jrtome Sheraton with very friendly and helpful staff!
I am a regular visitor of this Sheraton with average 3/4 stays a year, for the past 7 years. The hotel is undergoing a major rehabilitation programme of its rooms and later I guess will extend to lobby area, bar etc.. it was really in need of such work! congratulations! Even with this renovation the staff keeps the same friendly attitude and helpful mood as ever. It is a meeting point of many locals as well as business people coming to Tunis. It is not as Luxurious as many other Sheratons but it has a good location to the city centre and with all the necessary amenities, that a hotel of this kind needs to have. I always stay at the Sheraton whenever there is availability. This last stay in November was special as it was my wife´s birthday...and we had a great reception! Many thanks!
