The rooms are dark (very low wattage on bulbs). Carpets are stained. But you hotel has the most fantastic staff and disposition.
Friendly, and go out of their way to help and please.

One of the lamps inside the room was not working. Reminded the housekeeping and still no use. Also the weighing scales inside the toilet was not functioning at all. You will have a 40 lb heavier body weight.

As an SPG member, it is recorded in my informations that I am a non smoker and my company book a room with a king size bed.
Every time I come in this hotel, the front desk justifies that there is no more no smoking rooms with king size beds whatever the arrival time.
Or the front desk personal is lying like they breath or there is a big problem in the room management as the hotel is missing non smoking rooms...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yifan amazing hospitality
Sheraton Hanoi completely impressed me with an amazing hospitality. I had one night stay on November 8th, not as a planned trip but an improvised solution after realizing that my passport and wallet were all gone on the flight from Saigon to Hanoi (I was about to take flight back to Beijing, which was not possible without a passport!) Without any penny in the pocket and any acquaintance in the city, I took a taxi from airport with no clue on how to pay it. I told taxi driver please bring me to whatever SPG hotel (while Sheraton is the first name to pop up in my brain), we arrived in this lake-side Vietnamese resort in half 40 minutes. I get the taxi paid and a guaranteed room within five minutes (after showing my passport photocopy and asking to pay on-line later), which I expect to take at least half an hour!! Even if in my home-country, I couldn’t imagine to get trusted and helped that fast!! I was positively surprised not only by the manager’s extremely warm and nice manner in treating me, but also her professionalism and elegant English. After staying in at least 10 Sheraton hotels in Asia, Germany and US, the Hanoi one definitely gave me the best guest experience! Top room quality and breakfast, ideal location and world-class staff!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by shune The hanoi sheraton hotel is terrible
This hotel worst in the world.I got a terrible service. Ex1)many times I didn.t receive water.
Ex2)The hotel provided shuttle bus service. We reserved time to start. But many times change the time without notie.I called from company to hotel at first, and the other person called another time at the second. hotel changed the time for second person to drive but. I didnt recieve any information. I waited for 30minuts and I called to hotel what happend. hotel staff said that the other person requred the another time. why they dont discuss at first time person to call?
Ex3)usually it takes ! hour to drive bus from hotel to company. but sometimes the driver not to know how to go. at that time It takes 2 hours.
Ex4)sometimes hotel offered NOT CLOSING DOOR BUS. so we taked a opened door bus for 1 hour. I have pictures the bus door opend..If hotel staff dont send apology I will post the picture to any travel society.
many times I complained to hotel but They dont change their activity. and they give same terrible services everyday. I will complain to others internet board using another way.
