Rated 3 out of 5 by My suggestion The room was good. It would have been better if there were drawers for clothing. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by hotel features the staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant has good food and is clean. the grounds are well kept and nice. July 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't Bother Requesting Specifics In your Reservation We made our reservations four months in advance for a room with two double beds. When we arrived we were given a room with one king size bed. When we asked for a room with two beds we were told the rooms were " First come first served". We were traveling with three preteen kids, so only having one bed was not at all useful. The staff at the desk was very unhelpful. They seemed to have no interest in meeting our needs. I will not stay here again. I have had much much better service from far less expensive hotels. November 16, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little disappointed. This was our second stay at this Sheraton. The first stay was pretty good, outside of the children slamming doors, running, and yelling up and down our hallway. We went ahead and chalked that up to a parenting problem. This stay started out fine. Parking was convenient and the front desk clerk was friendly. We didn't get to our room until late (just before midnight), and when we pulled back the covers there was a blood stain on the heavy comforter blanket. We just pulled it off and put it in the corner, but when we pulled back the sheets, there was another blood stain on the sheets. Both stains looked set in and gone through the wash a time or two. Both stains were also about the size of a baseball. Although we were disgusted, we decided since it was late we were not going to make a fuss. We notified the front desk in the morning who responded with, "Oh, ok, we'll check into that." I guess I expected a little more urgency/empathy. I sincerely hope they don't tell housekeeping staff to ignore such glaring, disgusting stains. Sorry to say this was unacceptable and unfortunately, we probably won't be back. April 18, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel is in bad need of updating and a definate need to improve housekeeping My room was cleaned at 5:30 p.m. on 2 days. This is not satisfactory. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anniversary Get-Away Had an awesome experience at the MWC Sheraton! The staff was amazing and the food delicious. July 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The worst place to stay; cancel and run away sink and tub water dripped, carpet not clean, duvet and shower curtain stained, sink cracked in two places, vending room was sticky and nasty, looked like sheets hadn't been changed July 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Stay Nice staff. Clean, quiet room. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Upgrade Whenever possible I would definitely suggest paying the extra to upgrade to the fifth floor! Love the evening snacks and the morning breakfast available. Good selection. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great nights sleep Great location right next to the reed center. very peaceful, and quiet rooms. excellent nights sleep and ready for the next day. happy hour on the 5th floor was a welcome surprise as well. July 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The hotel made for a very comfortable weekend. Checking in I opted for the Club level and it was well worth it, even with a card reading glitch in one elevator. The room was very comfortable and the hospitalty in the reception area excellent. It was a great place to meet and chat with other guests on the floor. The breakfasts and evening food were delicious, with ambience made all the better by the wonderful staff member serving as hostess. She was warm, attentive, instantly ready to assist. I plan to upgrade to the Club the next time I come. I also found the food excellent at the hotel restaurant downstairs, with excellent prices. June 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Hotel in Midwest City This hotel treated me like family and provided a wonderful room. July 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by cleanliness/food quality Our room was very dirty and dusty. The bathroom was grossly soiled, especially the toilet. The food in the club lounge was obviously not fresh, as the fruit was rotting on the plate. The hot foods were cold. There was no bottled water available in the lounge.I have never written a bad review about a Starwood property before as they have always been excellent. January 24, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by sheraton staff needs improvement When we got to the room there was a blood stain on the bed skirt and coffee stains on the blanket. When I brought the blanket down to the front desk I was told they did not have another one. The maids made up the beds once in four days. We had to ask for clean towels every day. The last night there we still had no clean towels at 6pm. We went to the front desk twice and both times they took our room number and said they would get us towels and clean up the room. When we came back from supper at 9pm the room was still not clean and fresh towels were dumped on the bed. The old dirty ones were still on the floor. The breakfast was the same every day and since we were with a group they made use walk down to the Reed Center every day for breakfast. We did not get waffles, toast, cereal, milk or several diffferent juices like the rest of the hotel guests got. Overall this motel needs much improvement in how to provide their guests quality service. June 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room wasn't what I expected Our room was on the 5th floor which is the Club Level, we didn't have a dresser or refrig. We had to live out of our suitcases for four days! Then housekeeping wouldn't clean our rooms because we had personal items everywhere! We had friends on a lower floor and their room was nicer than ours. Other than that the hotel is nice. Rated 3 out of 5 by Potentially excellent Got the last available room; styled for wheelchair users, though I didn't need that. If I were using a wheelchair, spaces between furniture would seem very narrow. PRO: Excellent lighting, excellent blackout shades, fitted bottom sheets (they don't pull out when top sheet is loosened), at least one non-feather pillow, comfortable chairs, good decor, many convenient electric outlets, fast & courteous staff response to problems, indoor connection to event center. MIXED: Coupon for food & gift shop offered if take green option, but only good during stay. CON: checked in to find leftover trash & no soap. Didn't clean room for 2nd day, even tho' I did not request "green" option. Pillow contents label hard to find, no drawers just shelves, too little closet space if 3 or 4 in room. July 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Club Level is a Best Buy I recently stayed at this hotel with a group and was lucky enough to get Club Level. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The Happy Hour and Breakfast Hour was very good with food quality, variety, and hospitality exceeding expectations. July 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by What is happening to this Sheraton?? I travel to the area several times per year. I have noticed a decline in the overall quality of the hotel. This trip, I was greatly disappointed. I requested a club level room and expected more from that level. Upon arrival dirty bed cover, towels were very tattered and stained, some towles were missing, & carpet was dirty. I called the front desk and they immediately took care of the towels it but should not have had to call. On the club level all but one night the food was cold or not even there. Work out room was without towels and dirty. Never used to be like this????? June 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Celebration Experience Booked four rooms on the Lounge floor for a combination graduation and birthday celebrations for my family and it was wonderful. The rooms were clean roomy, quiet, accessible, and very comfortable, for two and for four. The food was good, and reasonable. Princess on the lounge floor, was welcoming; she made my family from several parts of the country, feel very comfortable, even special. Thank you. There was something for the men, like the wine and beer tasting contest and car show and for the women, quilt and craft show. I could not have planned a better time. It was also helpful to be across the street from Walmart and Lowes and Radio Shack, etc. I will always use you for my special occasions for my family. Thank you. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really like Sheraton Reed Center great place to stay, I'd not stayed here in a while and had forgotten how much I like this hotel July 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by It worked This hotel worked, but I was extremely disappointed with how filthy the floors were with stains and such and since I have a 9 month old that crawls everywhere it was kind of gross to think of what he was crawling on. I was also not happy at the fact that the this is the first hotel I have stayed in that has not had a Pull out Sofa Sleeper in a room with a King size bed, therefore we were stuck in a room with 2 double beds. For this being a Sheraton, I never would have thought that this hotel would not have had that available. June 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Filthy The bed was so dirty. The white comfortor was brown and had pink nail polish in places. The bathroom floor was very dirty especially around corners and edges. Trash can had old coffee grounds and trash stuck to it with no liner. Carpet full of large stains. The shrimp was spoiled but lucky for me I had only taken one bite. I did get diareaha the following day. June 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Small Room and tiny bathroom Have stayed in several Sheraton's but this one had the smallest rooms and a very small bathroom. There wasn't even an alarm clock in the room, which is a first. We were not impressed, however, the appearance of the hotel and cleanliness were excellent. June 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy to know you allow dogs. We were happy to be able to have our 2 dogs with us on this trip. We were in OKC visiting our son and not able to kennel our 2 small dogs - we were so happy to be able to bring them and everything worked out great. June 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendly, Cozy, and Extremely Clean My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way up North. The check-in was quick but informative. He was so polite and helpful and seemed to genuinely care about our individual requests and needs. The room was extremely clean and roomy. I forgot my shampoo, conditioner, and face wash and when I called to inform them they said they would have it waiting at the front desk when I was driving back through the next day. We will definitely stay here again soon! February 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not good value We were told we could check in by 3 p.m. but when we arrived at 5:30 p.m. were told our room wasn't ready! They mumbled and stumbled around for 20 minutes or so before finally allowing us to go to the room which was completely nasty. The bed linen was all wrinkled and looking as if it had been slept on, the floor in the bathroom was dirty and sticky and the tub/shower looked as if it had only, maybe, been wiped down; it certainly had not been cleaned. To top it all off, the room had no closet, only a very small amoire which was so short I couldn't hang my clothes in it and there was no place for the in-room ironing board. It was stacked between the amoire and the built-in desk. Our door wouldn't close automatically and we had to remember to tug it the rest of the way closed when we entered and left. All in all, this place was an absolute wreck. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by family getaway Have stayed at this Sheraton on multiple occasions for business and leisure. The AC/Heater had some complications which were quickly corrected by maintenance and front desk staff. We will definitely be staying at this and other Sheratons again in the future as our needs were met beyond our expectations. Also, this particular facility sits just minutes from downtown OKC offering options such as Bricktown, the fairgrounds, sporting events, and shopping. May 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comments on our visit 10/18-10/20/2013 We booked two rooms. Bathroom didn't seem clean on our arrival day. Dirty floor and doors. Didn't like the glass french doors in bathroom - didn't like the angle in front of toilet. Room & beds were very comfortable. 4th floor staff were friendly. Gary was exceptional waiter in the restaurant. So was the bartender / waitress on Saturday night. Great moments and memories sitting by the fire in the lobby!! THANK YOU October 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Semi See thru bath door(s) The door(s) to the bath were opaque and not solid. This contributed to a lack of privacy when using the bath. The bath was tiny. The 2 beds were not queen size as are most in this type of hotel and were very uncomfortable. Who uses double beds any more? The staff was great and very professional. Internet should be free for all guests. Free parking was a plus. December 31, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Filthy The staff at this hotel were very nice and very accomodating. the bathrooms were absolutely FILTHY!! There was a moldy like substance that ran along the baseboards, dust all over the doors and the baseboards, the bottom of the shower curtain was yellow and black. I had to complain twice regarding the trashed overflowing in our room for three days, no clean towels, the bedding not being changed after I had requested it, also the cleaning crew left behind dirty, soiled rags on the vanity n my bathroom! so much to my disgust I took pictures which i will be getting ahold of the head people at The Sheraton to forward them on. It was not only our room, but every room! You would figure as far in advance we have to make these reservations they would be prepared for softball teams to come and stay. We also had to spend time in the tornado shelter which was not stocked with water or blankets. I was very disappointed in this hotel as we picked this as our place of choice to stay while we were there to spend time with our families, friends and play softball. June 5, 2013
