Rated 2 out of 5 by MNW2154 Disgusting and Disappointed
My friend and I came into town just for the night. We checked in at 3pm and came up to the room. I noticed disgusting stains on the comforter, stains on the carpet, and remote to tv did not work. I took a picture of the stains on the comforter down to the front desk. All she offered me was to change the linens.. did I mention these stains were disgusting. She also offered to replace batteries in the remote. When we returned to the room the linens had been changed but the remote still did not work. I then had to make a call down to front desk to have maintenance bring up batteries. I was very disappointed in this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone. For all the trouble we went through I was shocked we were not offered money off our stay or drink vouchers. Very disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mrtravel28 No Hot water.
During our stay there was no Hot water. Even though I understand this happens, I would expect compensation to Platinum members. That was only offered after a Corporate complaint. I had 2 rooms booked with Business partners who would really have appreciated hot shower like you could get in a basic motel. The lounge attendant was lazy and simply watching tv, while the offerings in the lounge were less than average. At least they still serve you beer at this lounge, but like I said, hot water would have been better. The rooms themselves felt aged and not like much of a platinum upgrade. Was told this is a non-suite hotel so no suite upgrade. Not a bad area about 12 miles from city center. The pool smelled of too much chlorine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 57Mike57 Nice Hotel--terrible showers
I stayed this past Monday and Tuesday night while at Tinker AFB for business. Room, staff, facility were very nice however....... The shower was the worst that I have seen in a long time. Was obviously for someone handicapped, and the shower head had to be held or it was set up to point directly at a seat/bench for somone that is handicapped. Was a real pain for someone 6' 4", not to mention the way it was laid out completely soaked the entire bathroom floor and made it somewhat slippery/hazardous to enter the bathroom later.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JennL Disappointed in the outdated room
I had a meeting at the Reed Center, so it was very helpful in staying at the hotel. when I checked in the front desk was very friendly & helpful. they had gave my room away but upgraded me to Club Level which was awesome! Very disappointed in the room ~old & outdated. The tub was dirty & the fridge had hair in it & was gross! Made me question the rest of the room on cleanliness. The host in the club lounge was great & it was a lot of fun! I enjoyed that part!

Rated 3 out of 5 by xCPx It was OK
Stayed for a 4 nights.
The hotel is nice and good location but the room was ok. They just need some TLC compare to the other Starwood hotels that I stayed in.
1. Might need a plumber for the bath tub because of running water even though it was shut off.
2. The hook on the wall for clothing about to fall out.
3. The AC unit wasn't running properly. The cover was actually propped open (maybe was under maintenance) and the thermostats box was broken so it was loose.
Other than that, it was fine. Maybe it's just that room.
I'd stay there again next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dissapointed59 Not typical SPG.
I have stayed happily at many SPG properties, but this one disappointed me. First off, the bathtub has black mold and hair in it. There were not any wash cloths and only two towels. Since there were two of us in the room, both taking two showers, this was not enough.
We paid a premium to be on club level. We were told breakfast would be served until 9:30 Sunday morning. at 8:45, there was not any food and the attendant was in the process of putting away the dishes. When asked if they would be putting out additional food, I was told no, she was already cleaning. Please note that I was not the only guest on this level who did not get breakfast. I know that there were at least 12 others who came in about the same time, with the same results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by AZATVGUY OKC Visit fall 2013
I know this hotel has been around for over 10 years but it is really starting to show above average wear and tear. When you see the carpet in room 333 which has been pulled back and not put back down (by the door) that is a minor cosmetic issue which shows deficiencies in other areas. The walls in the bathroom are dirty and need attention; does your Housekeeping do a quality spot check? The elevators need a cleaning or polishing, first impressions are important. The staff was very helpful and friendly but they can only do so much to offset the wear on the property. I like the Sheraton chain and I make several trips to OKC, when I do I will check out the elevators to see if the smaller issues have been addressed before I decide to stay again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FHenry My observations
Nice and clean rooms. Appeared to be a blood stain or something on the bottom of bed skirt. Some slight mold in shower and wear. My rooms were so far away from the elevator. No way to see breakfast buffet its hidden and needs to be in the open near the east windows preferably. One of the kitchen servers placed his hands on top of the dishes on the carrying cart to transfer dishes to the breakfast buffet. There was no clear path for him to get to the buffet without placing his hands on top of the dishes. Staff friendly. Clean fitness room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by greenchiles Go for the Emerald restaurant!
My wife and I treated some good friends to a retirement celebration dinner in the Emerald restaurant. The food was excellent! I had one of the best ribeye steaks I think I've ever had. Everyone else was very pleased with their selection also. The smoked gouda mac and cheese is a must try! The hotel was just OK; but the towels were scary. I haven't seen frayed towels like that since I threw away my old dog drying towels...and that was on the Elite floor! I was also disappointed there wasn't a bellman available to help with the luggage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kay217 Comfortable beds.
This hotel had a very nice check-in staff, nice conference center, and nice location.
However, the room (on the SPG floor) was not as clean as it should have been upon arrival. There was trash in the floor and some of the towels were dirty. I left some dirty towels and washclothes in the floor and found the washcloth refolded and stacked on the vanity. The cleaning staff also stood and chatted in the hall outside my door, awakening me (I am however, a lite sleeper).
The conference center was very nice and the lunch was delightful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tandye Xmas Party
Our club had their Xmas party at the Reed center. Most of us stayed on the club level. Our hotel stay was wonderful. The club level hostess did a superb job. She had her hands full with our group and still took excellent care of us.
The only negative was the dinner at our party in the Reed center. The waitstaff were horrible. If we asked for anything it felt like we were putting them out. Not to mention they never smiled or asked if we needed anything. If you want to get repeat parties some major changes need to happen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TruCane Very Disappointed
Very disappointed with the club floor, wasn't told anything about not having a refrigerator or microwave in room. I ask the front desk about the situation and was told that those two item's had to be requested, I have never heard anything like this. I figured if I was spending $200 a night on a room it would come with a refrigerator and microwave. The robes was very hard and the shower smelled like someone urinated on the shower curtain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cindy75 will never reserve with Sheraton again
I arrived at the Sheraton in Midwest City for a conference at the same location. I have had this reservation for 2 months, they did have my reservation but NO room for me. I was not the only one there were at least 5 people ahead of me with the same situation. I travel 75% of the year for my employer and typically stay where the conferences are booked, but I will not ever book with any Sheraton again. This has not ever happened with other hotel chains, especially when you are a member of whatever their "frequent Flyer" program is. Unbelievable!!! I felt very sorry for the front desk staff, it was not them who overbooked and they handled the situation with calm, respect and did the best they could to help. However I did not get a room, they could not make that happen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mav41 Unsatisfactory experience
After staying at other Starwood establishments & previously a Sherton on a Club floor, this experience compared to the others was underwhelming. The room was small, with walls and carpeting in need of repair. The club lounge felt like an extension of the elevator lobby. The Hors D'oeuvres Were poor at best. At checkout, no luggage racks were available nor was any assistance offered. For this, I spent a premium rate. I will be staying in St Louis and Cleveland at the Club floors and hope they are a major improvement.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AirForceMom Hotel needs to work a little harder to meet expectations of an SPG property
Overall the hotel was fine however there are some things that need attention.
1. Room 525 backs up to the eating area for the Club Floor. This means every time they set up for breakfast or the evening reception you hear EVERYTHING they are doing and saying. The banging of chaffing containers, service pieces, etc. started around 6:10 AM in addition to all the chatter being conducted as housekeeping started their day.
2. Walls and doors allow you to hear all the noise outside your room.
3. Housekeeping did not clean my room each day. I was there 3 nights and only had housekeeping once.
4. Would appreciate having more than 2 towels in the hotel room. This would have helped with issue #3.
5. Overall the sleeping rooms could be cleaner, specifically the furniture and the bathrooms.

Rated 3 out of 5 by catlady49 Disappointed in hotel
I recd 2 confirmations and still was told there were no rooms available. I finally was able to stay in the parlor on a roll away bed. It was not as comfortable as a bed, but I'm sure it was better than the lumpy sofa. The buffet ran out of food both mornings. I heard there was only one person cooking. The staff was very pleasant. But I couldn't believe the hotel sold more rooms than were available. I talked to numerous people at the convention who had the same problem. Good thing china painters are friendly because there was never enough tables at breakfast and we shared tables with strangers. For such a big name hotel, it was very disappointing. I was comped 2 nights stay, fortunately. I'm not sure I would ever trust a confirmation from a Sheraton again. The convention center was wonderful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by no3945 March 8-9, 2013 stay
The room that I stayed in was not clean nor cleaned properly, Bed comforter had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time. Fresh hand towels were not given for second night's stay. Hotel staff was courteous, but not attempting to make the stay above average. Location was very convenient for the Reed Conference Center, but I don't believe I will stay at this hotel again. Those in my group who chose the nearby hotels had a much better experience at the same rate that I paid for this visit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by G1987 Front desk staff inefficiency
Mine, and several fellow workers rooms were not cleaned one day. The front desk staff assured that they would be cleaned while we waited, yet they were not. I informed the front desk that I would be checking out the next day and I was informed that the room receipt would be left under the door. It was not, and the front desk was not informed of my departure. Guests in the club level loung and the downstairs restaurant should be required to wear shoes, and it should be enforced by the staff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Waylon63 Food in restaurant not so great
The first night there I had Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatos, gravy, and corn on the cob. the corn was literally ice cold, the gravy was almost green with the amount of either parsley or garlic put in it, making it very bitter, as were the mashed potatos. the bread pudding for dessert was delicious. The breakfast buffet was ok except for the scrambled eggs that had what looked like the same green herb in excess, making them bitter. the other aspects of the hotel were very good though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Zanadonia Not worth the price
For the price i would think that breakfast should be included. I did the option of not having my room cleaned and get coupon to use at participating food places. i asked for this when i checked and and I found out that it was only good at the restaurant in the hotel and expired the day you check out. so much for that "deal." There is a vent in the shower stall. It was gross. Full of mold and mold around the edge. A definate health hazard. No fridge or microwave in the room. either.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HGArnold Rooms need improvement
We were thrilled that we were able to stay here on the sold out final night of the NBA playoffs. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, however, our room was tired and worn looking. The floor in the bathroom was really dirty and the towels were frayed. The restaurant was nice, but the staff seemed a bit overworked and undertrained (the bartender didn't know how to make the drink specials on the menu). The breakfast buffet is nice and the covered parking was a plus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KathyfromKansas Staff excellent, but stay charged to wrong card
When we arrived, my friend and I immediately asked to have the charges split between her room and mine. Other hotels have done this with no problem. When we checked out, the clerk said it looked like the entire stay was still charged to my card. So he swiped hers and had to do it twice. The entire stay ended up on her credit card. Calls to the hotel have not resolved the issue as yet. Because we need the receipts properly charged and listed for taxes, this is unacceptable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Karyn Dirty bathroom
Hello, I recently stayed at the Sheraton Midwest City. I would like to start with the positive and that is excellent front desk and room service. The food was great. Now the negative and that is the dirty bathroom. The grout in the tiles was full of dirt, there was dirt all along the baseboard, the handle to the bathroom door was loose and the bathroom french door was dusty and dirty. The corners of the floor in the bathroom were also dirty. It was a gross environment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bam67 Did not meet my expectations
Was there for a conference the rooms where dirty. Very loud could hear everything going on in the hall. Food is awful and there is nothing really in walking distance to go eat at. I was stuck paying there high price for crappy food. The hotel website gives you estimated prices for transportation to and from the airport. They said 29.00 for airport express this is correct. It says a taxi is 26.00 it also says that may not be exact. Well its not it was 44.00 for a taxi.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cocos My Hotel Visit
My visit was overall good. I would return again for a visit. The only things that I could see that needed improvement was the rooms could have been vacuumed better, bathrooms was very clean. In the breakfast area it would be more efficient if the silver ware and napkins was where people could pick up their own rather than wait for them to be brought to your table. I think this would speed up people getting in and out when there are a large number of people.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AngelEyes jacuzzi needs some work
The first time we went down to the jacuzzi it was closed for maintenance. The next day it was open. We were disappointed that we had water slapping us in the face and shooting over our heads while we sat in the jacuzzi, because the jets were not positioned correctly. However, there were no heads on them for us to adjust them. Also, there were no towels available either time!
The issue I had with the room was the see through thin toilet paper. Expected more!
