I stayed at this hotel for a conference and the facilities were fine. I used the gym everyday and it's well equipped. Also the pool is very nice. What I didn't like about this hotel is the location. It's truly in the middle of nowhere so we were stuck here for breakfast and lunch and had to take a taxi to old San Juan for dinner. Just not what I was expecting.

We chose the hotel based on past experiences with the Sheraton family. In general, the experience was good but there are three things that can be improved. The a/c unit in the room was not as cold as it should, the mattress was very hard (kind of a surprise because we had the best sleep ever in the other Sheraton Hotel) and there was gum by the whirpool two days in a row..

The staff were excellent and very helpful. Wilma (at choices restaurant) and Gabriel Rios at the pool bar went well above the call of duty to assisst us and should be commended for great customer service

Rated 3 out of 5 by Delmundo Carpet was soaking wet
The carpet was very wet in many areas of the room. It felt damp and smelled a bit musty. The room service took a very long time and the elevator keys cards did not always work.
Also we arrived quite late around midnight and the music was so loud in the bar that I could hardly hear what the front desk agent was saying.. For 10,000 Starwood points I was expecting more...

The first night I had dinner in the bar. I ordered some buffalo wings. The waitress was gone so long I needed a different type of dressing and had to go get up wandering to find her. The next day I had lunch at the poolside bar. The server said it would be a while, 45 minutes because the kitchen up there was closed and all the food was coming from downstairs although I only ordered a chicken Ceasar salad. I waited, the salad was soggy, service sub par. The next night I ordered wings from the bar to go. It took the bartender about ten minutes to come take my order because he was deeply engrossed in conversation, and once again said it would be about 45 minutes. There is a dire need for customer service training in the food and beverage area. The entire hotel staff did not have a sincere appreciation for guest and were not truly welcoming from the beginning of my stay until the end. I mentioned these things at checkout .

I was disappointed in the way the hotel handled the noise from attendees staying there for a soccer convention. Security was notified but there was no change in the noise level. When I checked out, I heard that the offenders were running thru the halls and lobbies til 4am. My friends who also stayed in a room had the same bad experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HArroyo Great hotel, but Guest Services' staff needs to improve
The hotel facilities were impeccable. The room was very comfortable and clean. My only concern was the guest services staff. The waiting time for check-in was not appropriate. I had to call several times in order to someone to pick up the phone during my stay. It seems that they were not ready to deal with certain volume of guest as the hotel was completely booked.

It is a business hotel not a holidays hotel. This hotel is not a walking distance from Old San Juan or Condado. You need to take a taxi all the time.
The building is quite recente and has a view on the lagoon.
The room are comfortable.
If you need a bottle of water in your room, you will be charged $7.00 + charges
The front desk staff is very helpful.

Pool bar attendant working on Saturday around 3pm (female) was a little to be desired. Ordered a glass Chardonnay only to be offered what she said "don't know how old this bottle of wine is" with no other option, and no other suggestion from her. I said, I will go back downt the main bar and get a drink there. NO SERVICE as well as SHE HAD NO SERVICE SKILL..

It's really hard to say in words how wonderful, and helpful everyone was. The staff, was amazingly concerned and helpful in assisting us on how and where to enjoy this beautiful island and all it has to offer. I would also like to give a shout out to taxi driver "Chino". He got us where we needed to go, and was so pleasant. To sum it all up......EXCELENTE!

Didn't like it. Bad experience. The room key didn't work and we changed room. The day after the keys didn't work again, going back to the reception, having to wait 5 minutes and someone showed up after we call the hotel! The lobby smells very bad. No fresh air there... You only have 2 towels when other hotels usually leave 4 towels. Towels are small also.

Our stay for 6 nights was a very good one. The staff is very pleasant and the restaurant Choices (in the lobby) is tremendous. The ice machine on our floor was broken for most of our stay, which was a nuisance, and the air conditioner dripped onto the carpet and wasn't working on our last night there. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to others

Luis M was our waiter for breakfast on Saturday.
When we were getting ready to leave, he realized I had not eaten as the kitchen had no croissants so he ran to catering, and package 2 croissants with butter and jelly, and ran them out to our car for me.
Going out of his way like that made us feel very special and plan on booking more Sheraton stays.

We arrived Post Cruise early and needed to wait until well after check-in time for rooms to be ready. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Deluxe rooms face an outddor cafe where a D.J blasts pounding electronic music all night. Did not stop until 3:30A.M. Poor nights rest. Pool facilities excellent. Will not stay here again. Lobby a madhouse.

I requested an early check in. Told it was fine but when going in the room, it was not prepared. Staff managed to get another room reasonably fast. When using the key on the elevator they were not programed. The view was beautiful, but it was very dusty, you could see it on the tv and tables. Your coffee shop downstair shoul open a little later.

Housekeeping was very bad. They forgot towels everyday. I asked to have the coffee maker fixed three times, with no luck. The restuarant was very slow and the food would be cold. The Bar staff was excellent. Frank at the pool bar was very good.

I would recommend the hotel to potential clients but need to make some adjustments in relation to cleaning, at check in staff did not talk about the facilities or other details. I had higher expectations of the hotel as it is located in an important area such as the convention center and where it receives a large number of business people.

this is my second stay in the hotel in less than 2 months. I decided to come back, because we loved the hotel when we stayed back in December. But I have to say this time it was not that pleasent. This time we stayed with our children and we requested a double bed room, which we got, but I checked in at 7:00pm and the room was not ready, they only left two towels for four and two bottle of water. When we requested room service for more towels and water, the lady that answered the call (which I did not take her name, my mistake) said that it's only permited two bottles of water per roon per day and two set of towels, which I got very mad, eventually they brought me the towels and water, but she should of never questioned me or give excuses of why, she just should of accepted my request and comply with it. The breakfast in the lounge area HORRIBLE. So many breads, coffee was cold, the fruits were not fresh. In the evening brunch it was much better.

- Clean Room, very comfortable
- Pool Area is excellent, nice panoramic view, fun for children.
- Excellent location for people who have activities at the PR Convention Center.
Bad or Needs Improvement:
- Double Rooms should have two Queen Beds rather than Full size beds
- Need more options on late night dining for families. At 11pm, the main hotel restaurant was closed and most delivery restaurants had stop deliveries. There aren't any options within walking distance. The available options on the hotel were too expensive for families.
- Customer service at the Front Desk can also improve. Need more personnel. Also, my hotel offer included the Self-parking, but the person at the Front desk did not want to honor it. I had to present various documents and wait at the desk for a while before they acknowledge that my offer indeed included the Self-parking. It actually put a sour taste on my stay.
- Breakfast at the hotel can be very expensive.

Unfortunately, I was not completely happy with my staff at the Sheraton. First, my rate was not updated to satisfy the Banco Popular rate of $129 which includes Breakfast. Second, I found a hair in my comforter which did not belong to me. Third, the trap door in the bathroom ceiling kept on opening up for not apparent reason.

The room has lamps with dirty stains like carpet. The room upon arrival had no water bottles. People who had been in the room left on the desk opinion on service and room service did not take it. The toilet to much noise. At other times the stay was more cozy. The pool was too cold. One of the elevators were not properly served.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was beautiful, loved sipping mimosas and gazing at the view. There were stains on the carpet and the bed pad did not stay attached to the mattress, slightly annoying. Other than that, I totally enjoyed my stay, it was the best 40th birthday celebration ever and I will be back!

I had several issues before and during my staying. I also noticed several things that can be improved. Staff were kind, but the overal management in reservation and promotion was messed up. I find the rate was rather high. It was inconvenient for some of the restaurants were closed early, and staff were not around to assist.

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay before a cruise out of San Juan. We were greeted by the wonderful staff at this hotel the second we stepped out of the taxi. From the bellhops, front desk staff and dining room staff we were treated as if we stay here often and this was our first time here. We will be back. Thank You

Easy to go to con dado, old San Juan, Bayamon ect. Without traffic. We got a little late from going around. And I slept like a baby. The bad thing is I left the car outside and got a parking ticket, which I think was unfare since we are contributing to the turism and their was so much space and we were not blocking anybody.

The staff went above and beyond with their service. It was very refreshing to receive smiles from all staff members every time and they were very helpful and pleasant. The location was not very good but once there, I enjoyed my stay. Thank you for taking your time to hire caring and polite staff, it makes a big difference.

I recently stayed at this hotel in November for business. I noted the following:
1. Loud music- Music on the weekends lasted till at least 3 in the morning, and I was on the 12th floor and could still hear it.
2. Business lounge food not restocked for the morning breakfast always.
3. Room service wait time was over an hour
