Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is perfect for conventions in Puerto Rico This hotel could not be more conveniently located for those attending conferences or conventions in Puerto Rico. The staff is helpful and responsive, the hotel restaurant offers a full menu for every meal, and the Convention Center is a pleasant two or three minute walk away. January 22, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice view I requested an early check in. Told it was fine but when going in the room, it was not prepared. Staff managed to get another room reasonably fast. When using the key on the elevator they were not programed. The view was beautiful, but it was very dusty, you could see it on the tv and tables. Your coffee shop downstair shoul open a little later. Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleasant stay From the valet greeting to the parking lot attendant, our stay was great. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was efficient, helpful and friendly. Requests were promptly meet. The SPG lounge was clean and comfortable. The lounge staff were pleasant while keeping the breakfast and horderves refreshed and the room clean. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast but the pastries and fruit were fresh! The view of San Juan from the SPG lounge was spectacular. January 10, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. Very comfortable room. The Lobby and the bars are amazing, specially at nights because of the ambient lighting. The food is very good. They have 3 different restaurants, fine dining, asian and an Amazing Brazilian Steakhouse wich I Love! January 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is awesome Our entire family of 8 stayed for 8 days and there was no need unmet,. Starting from room service, housekeeping, and our great bartender Jose who knew exactly what food and beverages we needed when we needed it. It was unfortunate that the New Year's party was not hosted by the Hotel itself because it would have known not to serve alcohol to a hungry crowd. The fitness facility is top of the line as well the Hotel security. January 6, 2013

As a adventure buff and thrill seeker in venturing to other places in the world, I am shocked to find that my place of birth is the least likely please I would vacation to and stay at your hotel, room service was terrible the concierge was never there and the phone always rang and rang. Not happy at all, the worst part of our trip was the stay. December 31, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Nights Rest We arrived Post Cruise early and needed to wait until well after check-in time for rooms to be ready. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Deluxe rooms face an outddor cafe where a D.J blasts pounding electronic music all night. Did not stop until 3:30A.M. Poor nights rest. Pool facilities excellent. Will not stay here again. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pool Bar attendant Pool bar attendant working on Saturday around 3pm (female) was a little to be desired. Ordered a glass Chardonnay only to be offered what she said "don't know how old this bottle of wine is" with no other option, and no other suggestion from her. I said, I will go back downt the main bar and get a drink there. NO SERVICE as well as SHE HAD NO SERVICE SKILL.. December 25, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Communication/service issues amongst staff I had an issue with my room [service elevator going non-stop (yes, all night too) behind my room]. It felt like there was a constant train behind our room. I call guest services and the staff said they will switch the rooms. Everything went downhill after that because the guest service person I talked processed the change wrong and left his shift and didn't communicate with the rest of the staff about what was going on. I ended up working with 5 different staff that evening (2 guest services who didn't communicate with each other; 2 bell people came to my room to deliver the key but delivered the wrong one and told me they would be right back and never came back; and 1 staff that came to inspect the room because she taught we had moved, I told her about the reason we hadn't moved and she told me she would contact guest services but never did). Communication was there (because the bell people knew where we were and the room inspector knew that we were going to move), however, when I communicated about the wrong key, none of them went back to try to resolve the issue or communicated the information with someone who could. In essence, it felt like the staff didn't care. Hours later and after much frustrations, I went downstairs to the front desk and of course the staff didn't know and so I had to explain the issue all over again. Urrh!!! December 17, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by On a Conference Island Despite the lovely vantage points shown online, this hotel is pretty much on an island. There is absolutely NOTHING located within walking distance or reasonable cab fare distance other than the convention center and a subpar food and service Mexican restaurant. The hotel is lovely, with a couple of dining options, but the food is all the same and expensive, which is the advantage of having nothing nearby. If you want to get around, please expect that the cab services that are facilitated by the valet staff to gouge you, one way or the other, a valet staffer advised that a trip to the Bacardi facility would cost $60 one way for 3 people, amazing when it cost colleagues less than half that from the same location the day before. I explained, and the valet reluctantly facilitated a more reasonable price with an an excellent cabbie, who my group retained multiple times AFTER this incident, with no problem. The bar, pool bar, and dining areas apparently do not know when each closes, as we were shuttled from one facility to another one afternoon, while looking for food. I arrived late, was put in a room across from the laundry room, with NONE of the amenities I reserved early for, and with no acknowledgment of my SPG status, EVER. I did have an issue with the hotel drain and a very capable and nice handyman corrected it for me, even after the room was cleaned and neither the maid or the front desk staff bothered to pass on my request for service. I had to track the handyman down myself. Either come here with plenty of travel money for cab fare or a rental, but if neither is an option, stay in Old San Juan or Condado where there are far more options, all the way around. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not enough bang for my buck The hotel was decorated beautifully. The bellhops were very helpful. The front desk was ok. The person checking us in was more interested in talking about the benefits of the Starwood program that telling us that in order to access your room in the evening you MUST use your room card! Parking is $16 a night. For what this hotel charges they need to improve their customer service and offer more incentives to new customers. I was only stayed at this hotel because my niece was getting married and was leaving from this hotel. December 12, 2012

The location and service were excellent. Staying in the hotel after the party is a most and the Sheraton offers the best alternative for after-party at the casino. December 11, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by The best hotel if you have a meeting at the Converence Center This hotel really meet your need for the best place for both business and leisure. You can reach the converence center in minutes and take a nap between meetings if needed in such a comfortable room. The only problem is it's quite far away from doing some shopping even only for little souvenirs if you are too busy to go to the city. The Club really helpful if you need some cold or hot drink, but it will be better if it can provide snacks like cookies or nuts anytime together with the drinks except the hours d'ouvre in certain time. The quality of breakfast should be increased with hot foods like the eggs. December 8, 2012
