Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improving My check in went smooth.The room itself needs an update on furniture and mattresses. Mattress evidently had not been rotated in quite a while.Furniture needs some attention. First order for in-room dining was deplorable. No menu in room. Menu sent up. Items not same. Ordered a suggested item. Came 1hr later and looked like yellow vomit. They did remove charge. Not up to Sheraton standard February 10, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Puerto Rico-Classy Place to be Welcomed In October we had a return visit to the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino. This is a classy place to stay and the entire family felt welcomed. We had such great service and everyone from the age of 9 to 65 in the family felt relaxed and enjoyed the stay.. This is a truly great place to stay and enjoy. We enjoyed many aspects of the hotel and we definitely would stay there again. October 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great getaway I was delighted with my recent trip to San Juan and part of it was because of the best of the Island treasures......Its people, . From the views , the food the happiness everything was amazing, but friendly and helpful people set an apart chapter and; the location, staff ,amenities , night activities, everything was great in the hotel so for those reasons I am eager to come back soon January 29, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Better luck next time Not my best stay at this location. Wake-up call was two-hours late! Pool Cafe service was very slow even though there were only a few people there, service was much better by the actual pool. But bartender handled his forgetfulness very well. Hotel did a very good job with set-up and service for the meeting I attended. We'll come back because my office uses this venue for meetings. February 22, 2014

Choices was acceptable, but way overpriced. You can not have a buffet with only one entrée choice and yet charge $20-25 Internet outages on conference floor were a MAJOR impediment 2nd floor conference facilities were outstanding May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excelente The employees are friendly, approachable, and demonstrate a great sense of professionalism with a smile- no obnoxious attitude here. The Café and Restaurant are more than excellent. World class I would say. Here are the negatives: There should Spanish translations to the menu. When it comes to a restaurant menu, not everyone reads American English. House keeping needs improvement. December 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by SPG - Not satisfied Even if the hotel is in good conditions, the staff did not meet some of my requirements, must of all a suggested transportation from the hotel. But the actual point I'm not satisfied with is related to the SPG program. I'm a gold member, and I really do not sense any benefit by been loyal to Sheraton in PR. I got an "upgrade" to a room with a better view, not sure if that counts. February 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eat, sleep, drink, and win money at the casino! Stayed at this property for a night before moving onto Vieques. The property (lobby/pool) looked very nice. Was greeted by a nice associate that checked me in promptly. First room we were given smelled musty and the restroom smelled as if someone had been smoking in there. Requested a new room and was given a room on the club floor that smelled 10x better. Casino is a plus! May 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice We chose the hotel based on past experiences with the Sheraton family. In general, the experience was good but there are three things that can be improved. The a/c unit in the room was not as cold as it should, the mattress was very hard (kind of a surprise because we had the best sleep ever in the other Sheraton Hotel) and there was gum by the whirpool two days in a row.. Rated 3 out of 5 by Good hotel, needs more features Needs more night atractions at the main lobby/bar, coffe shop was always closed. The trickles at the swimming pool area were always closed. Customer representative at the main lobby could be nicer. Overall nice, but I have been in better places. Would stay again just if I have an activity at the Convention Center for the convenience of been near it. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Property Really enjoyed our recent stay. The property overall is wonderful and the staff very pleasant and responsive. I'm SPG Gold and was upgraded at check in to a room on the 10th floor with a view of the port and pool. The pool was pleasant, the food from the pool bar was delicious. The main restaurant (Choices) had a wonderful breakfast, though I found the prices to be a little steep. Parking was very expensive, but we noticed free street parking on Paseo Del Parque. The spaces are marked so you know parking is permitted (don't park on a yellow curb; though they seldom issue tickets, yellow curbs mean no parking ). The casino was nice, though we didn't gamble. At check in, there was a line and only one agent and the gold/platinum line was in use by all the other guests, so that was a bit of a bummer though we waited only 5-7 minutes. We went to the beach on Avenue Ashford, found street parking there too and loved that it was only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel. Same with Old San Juan, only a few minutes away by car. Overall, we would return! Had a wonderful time! October 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Carpet was soaking wet The carpet was very wet in many areas of the room. It felt damp and smelled a bit musty. The room service took a very long time and the elevator keys cards did not always work. Also we arrived quite late around midnight and the music was so loud in the bar that I could hardly hear what the front desk agent was saying.. For 10,000 Starwood points I was expecting more... Rated 4 out of 5 by First visit to this hotel Upgrade room was great with balconies and wonderful space, room was nicely decorated and very clean. AC struggled to make the room cool. Hotel is by itself, next to the convention center. Need transporation of some sort to get to the beach or old city. Very positive experiences with each staff member during a three day stay. Rated 2 out of 5 by Unpleasant Experience; Horrible Service The first night I had dinner in the bar. I ordered some buffalo wings. The waitress was gone so long I needed a different type of dressing and had to go get up wandering to find her. The next day I had lunch at the poolside bar. The server said it would be a while, 45 minutes because the kitchen up there was closed and all the food was coming from downstairs although I only ordered a chicken Ceasar salad. I waited, the salad was soggy, service sub par. The next night I ordered wings from the bar to go. It took the bartender about ten minutes to come take my order because he was deeply engrossed in conversation, and once again said it would be about 45 minutes. There is a dire need for customer service training in the food and beverage area. The entire hotel staff did not have a sincere appreciation for guest and were not truly welcoming from the beginning of my stay until the end. I mentioned these things at checkout . July 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel, but Guest Services' staff needs to improve The hotel facilities were impeccable. The room was very comfortable and clean. My only concern was the guest services staff. The waiting time for check-in was not appropriate. I had to call several times in order to someone to pick up the phone during my stay. It seems that they were not ready to deal with certain volume of guest as the hotel was completely booked. July 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is next to the convention centre It is a business hotel not a holidays hotel. This hotel is not a walking distance from Old San Juan or Condado. You need to take a taxi all the time. The building is quite recente and has a view on the lagoon. The room are comfortable. No minibar. If you need a bottle of water in your room, you will be charged $7.00 + charges The front desk staff is very helpful. April 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by fine hotel, but not close to anything I stayed at this hotel for a conference and the facilities were fine. I used the gym everyday and it's well equipped. Also the pool is very nice. What I didn't like about this hotel is the location. It's truly in the middle of nowhere so we were stuck here for breakfast and lunch and had to take a taxi to old San Juan for dinner. Just not what I was expecting. November 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pool Bar attendant Pool bar attendant working on Saturday around 3pm (female) was a little to be desired. Ordered a glass Chardonnay only to be offered what she said "don't know how old this bottle of wine is" with no other option, and no other suggestion from her. I said, I will go back downt the main bar and get a drink there. NO SERVICE as well as SHE HAD NO SERVICE SKILL.. December 25, 2012

The staff, was amazingly concerned and helpful in assisting us on how and where to enjoy this beautiful island and all it has to offer. I would also like to give a shout out to taxi driver "Chino". He got us where we needed to go, and was so pleasant. To sum it all up......EXCELENTE! July 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad experience Didn't like it. Bad experience. The room key didn't work and we changed room. The day after the keys didn't work again, going back to the reception, having to wait 5 minutes and someone showed up after we call the hotel! The lobby smells very bad. No fresh air there... You only have 2 towels when other hotels usually leave 4 towels. Towels are small also. April 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by worth staying at Our stay for 6 nights was a very good one. The staff is very pleasant and the restaurant Choices (in the lobby) is tremendous. The ice machine on our floor was broken for most of our stay, which was a nuisance, and the air conditioner dripped onto the carpet and wasn't working on our last night there. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to others January 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Service Luis M was our waiter for breakfast on Saturday. When we were getting ready to leave, he realized I had not eaten as the kitchen had no croissants so he ran to catering, and package 2 croissants with butter and jelly, and ran them out to our car for me. Going out of his way like that made us feel very special and plan on booking more Sheraton stays. September 30, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Nights Rest We arrived Post Cruise early and needed to wait until well after check-in time for rooms to be ready. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Deluxe rooms face an outddor cafe where a D.J blasts pounding electronic music all night. Did not stop until 3:30A.M. Poor nights rest. Pool facilities excellent. Will not stay here again. Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice view I requested an early check in. Told it was fine but when going in the room, it was not prepared. Staff managed to get another room reasonably fast. When using the key on the elevator they were not programed. The view was beautiful, but it was very dusty, you could see it on the tv and tables. Your coffee shop downstair shoul open a little later. Rated 5 out of 5 by Generous staff I got ready for my wedding at this hotel, and when I got back from my wedding to pick up my things, there was a bottle of champagne and two glasses waiting for me on the desk. The hotel I stayed at for the honeymoon did no such thing. This made me feel cherished!! Such a simple gesture from the front desk. August 12, 2014

Need more late night dining alternatives Good: - Clean Room, very comfortable - Pool Area is excellent, nice panoramic view, fun for children. - Excellent location for people who have activities at the PR Convention Center. Bad or Needs Improvement: - Double Rooms should have two Queen Beds rather than Full size beds - Need more options on late night dining for families. At 11pm, the main hotel restaurant was closed and most delivery restaurants had stop deliveries. There aren't any options within walking distance. The available options on the hotel were too expensive for families. - Customer service at the Front Desk can also improve. Need more personnel. Also, my hotel offer included the Self-parking, but the person at the Front desk did not want to honor it. I had to present various documents and wait at the desk for a while before they acknowledge that my offer indeed included the Self-parking. It actually put a sour taste on my stay. - Breakfast at the hotel can be very expensive. June 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton Convention Center this is my second stay in the hotel in less than 2 months. I decided to come back, because we loved the hotel when we stayed back in December. But I have to say this time it was not that pleasent. This time we stayed with our children and we requested a double bed room, which we got, but I checked in at 7:00pm and the room was not ready, they only left two towels for four and two bottle of water. When we requested room service for more towels and water, the lady that answered the call (which I did not take her name, my mistake) said that it's only permited two bottles of water per roon per day and two set of towels, which I got very mad, eventually they brought me the towels and water, but she should of never questioned me or give excuses of why, she just should of accepted my request and comply with it. The breakfast in the lounge area HORRIBLE. So many breads, coffee was cold, the fruits were not fresh. In the evening brunch it was much better. February 19, 2013
