Katherine (cafe) is amazing--we absolutely loved her! It was my first trip to Puerto Rico and she was so helpful, walking me and my boyfriend to the bus stop and giving us a map of Old San Juan--circling all of the places we needed to visit. She made us feel welcome and made sure we were having a wonderful time.
Our bartender (I'm so sorry but I can't remember his name) was also very friendly and offered us maps and magazines.
I work at a property in Colorado and I have to say that it's employees like this that make me want to do my job well and be the best I can be. The staff at your property take ownership of your property and seem very proud to be there. It's inspiring and they made our vacation that much better. Thank you!!

I could not find anything negative about my stay at the hotel. I just did not have time to uterlize all that was available.

I have to say with out a doubt Melissa in the Club is THE BEST!!! The entire staff at this hotel was real GREAT... Everyone was ready and willing to offer suggestions of places to visit, explaining in detail what beaches to visit. This was a great vacation THANKS to all the staff....

At first the person at the front desk was very accomodating and was able to upgrade me to a nicer room as i was staying 11 nights. However, the TV was not working properly, the carpet was dirty and there was a noice form the bathroom that was never addressed. Only one manager called the day before my last day to apologize. The staff was not friendly at all and service overall was poor given the elegance of this hotel.

Other than expedited check-in, I do not feel like a valued gold member any more. Not only was the room tiny and had no deck after requesting a larger one for my family, but we were not even placed on a high floor thus we had to look at dense palm trees outside of our window during our stay. I called to request a change but never heard back from anyone. Increasingly I just don't feel like my loyalty is appreciated at this and other SPG hotels - I am going to start looking at other hotels. Nice hotel overall hotel, but just lacking any sort of connection with me - I was a spring break #.

We were greeted by a courteous staff after having a difficult time getting to the hotel due to construction. The room was nice and spacious. However there were only 2 towels and we were 2 adults and a child and it was on the reservation. There were no luggage carts and we had to wait for the staff to bring our luggage and we were forbidden to take their carts.
Housekeeping was atrocious. bathroom was not cleaned for 2 days inspite of us calling the front desk and reminding them. Water bottles were not replaced.
The concierge was awesome and was very helpful in planning our excursions, tours and restaurants.
I expected better service.

This hotel has been open for about 3 years. My room had stained carpets and I had to get a fresh set of linens upon checkin due to unsavory stains on the bedding. I paid extra for a port view yet all I could see from the 6th floor was a palm tree which blocked everything. Poor location unless the convention center is your objective. Very average restaurants. Meeting rooms are way overpriced. We had to pay $500 (special deal) for wireless access on top of the meeting room charges. Pool closed for leak repair most of the week. Touch screen equpment in the fitness center is awful...Non Functional. Reminds me of the rest of the hotel...looks nice but fails to deliver.
