Rated 5 out of 5 by great staff The desk staff and shuttle drivers at the Minneapolis Midtown Sheraton were really pleasant, well trained and customer service oriented. They were exceptionally helpful and greatly contributed to our very positive impression of this hotel. The shuttle was a convenient, economical and readily available alternative to renting a car. Using the shuttle alone, or a combination of shuttle and light rail, we found the attractions of the city easily accessible. April 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Frist Time here Wonderful stay. The bed linens were amazing. I am already trying to recreate the style in my bedroom. Loved the Global Market and being able to walk for dinner and breakfast the next day. GREAT location for the global market flare. April 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A unique experience. A few years ago when I was looking for an SPG hotel in Minneapolis I noticed a new one popping up on my screen. It was this hotel. I thought why not try it? I am glad I did. I have been staying there on a regular base when I find the price is right. It is a nice, somewhat new now, hotel. Where else you can find a fireplace in your room in a city hotel? Yes, staying in your room while watching the snow fall outside and you are warm from the heat from the fireplace in your room is an amazing experience. Another amazing experience is swimming in the indoor pool while you watch the snow fall outside. When I stayed there the first time, some of my local friends did not like the location. They thought it was dangerous. Unfortunately, many people think that minorities=crime. It is not the case. The area of the hotel is one of the most culturally diverse areas in Minneapolis with whites, Native Americans, African American, Latinos and Somalis living side by side. It is such a colorful area. For me, this is an added advantage. Another great advantage is when you stay there, you are right next door to the mid town market. This is the old Sears building which was converted into offices, apartments and an amazing market. You can find food from Latin America, Scandinavia, The Middle East and, of course, American food in the restaurants in the market. So, while the food options are a bit limited in the hotel, right next door you got an amazing set of choices. Let us go back to hotel now and let me say it is worth every penny you spend in it. The staff are fine. They are sometimes not as warm as you expect from MN nice but still much better than staff I encountered in other hotels. The hotel is clean, fresh and cozy. April 16, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean, comfortabel rooms Beds were comfortable but small. We needed a room for 3 adults (Elderly mother went into hospital.) My sister and I had to share a double bed. It is attached to the heart hospital so it is convenient for our purposes. April 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by One issue I was woken up in the night by twp vey noisy guests. Havin travelled from AUstralia it meant I actually lost a nights sleep, This was unfortunate as the rest of the htoel was satisfactory. April 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Location This hotel was chosen because of the proximity to family. Did not expect a bus center in the same lot. I know it has been a long, cold winter but the outside grounds had a lot of trash laying around. Staff friendly but should have been more forthcoming about pet policy on the phone when I made reservations. March 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed When booking a Sheraton room...I guess I just expect MORE. This hotel was in a particularly bad part of town and seemed to be worse for the wear itself. Bathroom was very small and lighting was terrible. Room decor was right out of 1978. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Nice lounge/bar area. March 23, 2014
