I've stayed here several times and always have a pleasant experience. The staff is very very friendly. Management has tightened their belts a bit and stopped offering free upgrades and water bottles...thankfully I just turned platinum so it won't matter to me anymore, but as a gold member I think it was important to upgrade me when available. They now offer to take an additional $20 for that.
Rooms are getting close to needing some TLC. Some tile working bathrooms and carpet needs cleaned.

I was pleased with my stay but your level of maintenance is a concern. Would like to see improvements in the hallway of Starwood Preferred Hall. Noticed that a door was missing trimming...hallway carpet & wall should be cleaner. I didn't check other halls but I'd think the regular guest halls may be better maintained. If I'm to remain a preferred guest, I'd like to feel that way in what I see in my surroundings. My shower rod completely fell & bar totally detached from wall while I was taking a shower. I only moved the curtain to prevent water from getting on floor when it fell. It was obvious that the repair of this shower bar was "shabby"...I finished my shower but water was on the floor. Luckily I was not hurt when it fell. Please have "professionals" complete your maintenance tasks or at least have someone check their work thoroughly! Fortunately this happened the morning of check out.

The woman who registered me (I don't have her name) on Friday afternoon was less than friendly. I stay frequently at The sHeraton in Beltsville MD and am used to friendly courteous service. As an example, This woman keyed my card wrong and when I had to bring it back down with all my luggage, etc to have it corrected, she didn't even offer an apology. At no time did I see her smile. I am just not used to this kind of service at a sHeraton!

I alwais aske for a little extra minutes for checkout and they always say no worries take your time....unfortunately today they rudely said NO chekout is at 12 only platinum or gold member get extra time.it is sad because it is not my first time and I loved this hotel and ai have stayed here many times unfortunately this may be our last.

This was a short leisure getaway weekend although kind of secluded the hotel was perfect for what i wanted.. Initially l requested early check-in. However i wanted a higher floor and had to wait, the front desk staff were very accomadating to my request. After waiting for a while I was update to a clubroom and was very happy and surprised at the comfortability of the room. MIchael and Leemu were very helpful, courteous and informative as to things to do and see. Overall it was a very relaxing, restful and stress free weekend and I look forward to staying at this Sheraton again and refer to others.

Our stay at the Rockville Sheraton was very good.
Ricardo on the front desk is definitely a "can do" guy.
Now, having said that, he does need a little more training in what is service.
We had problems with the keys/lock of my room. After three times of making the keys, and me trying to get them to work in the lock, he came up with me to my room and made it work, ONCE.
It is nice to have a guy like Ricardo on the front desk, but he needs to understand that it is about things working for the customer. He can be a great guy with a little more training.

My son and I stayed at the Sheraton Rockville for four nights. We were upgraded to a room on floor five. This floor provided breakfast and dinner snacks each day. The staff on that floor were very nice and helpful and any way you asked. The pool and the fitness rooms are fun way to exercise and relax. Overall the staff was very pleasant.
