The lobby area is beautiful and gleaming. Very impressive. The valet parking was helpful and they were always prompt. Very much enjoyed our stay. May 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay! The hotel was great from the moment we walked in with the renovations, lobby appearance, check-in process, suite comfortableness, and concierge lounge access. Yenise checked us in and was extremely pleasant and made us feel at home from the start of our stay! We saw her the next day and she followed up on our room and stay, couldn't ask for a more friendly staff that goes above and beyond at her job. She is a great asset to your team at the hotel! Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional Service We Loved the new decor and all of the convenient charging stations through out the lobby! We stayed overnight so my daughter could attend her prom nearby. The decor of the lobby allowed us to take some exceptional pictures she will cherish forever! The hotel staff was amazing, pleasant and professional. Lizzette was very courteous when she checked us in and explained the hotel layout and even recommended the best spots to take pictures! We went down to the restaurant around 10 something to try and stay awake while we waited for our girls to get back from Prom and met Eduardo. He was super friendly and accommodated our need for some deliciousness. He brought out a brownie drenched in chocolate syrup, surrounded with berries with a side or vanilla ice cream! The breakfast bar the next morning was perfect! The rooms were clean and the beds where definitely heavenly! The deck was also super nice, just wished their was a pool. Rated 5 out of 5 by Stunning after reno Impressed with the look of the hotel lobby after renovation. Reminded me of the Luxury Collection properties. Staff - responsive and accommodating. Special mentions: Richard at check in was outstanding and a true ambassador of the brand. Miguel at check out very efficient in dealing with a long line. Concierge friendly and helpful throughout. Rooms are spacious and the purple color scheme on point. Perfect downtown hotel for a cultural exploration of the city (art, museums, theatres etc); also tons of nice restaurants in walking distance. Had a great time and will most likely return if back in LA. April 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Stay Good I called inquiring about early check in and was informed they could not accomodate. I arrived at 302pm and my rooms were not ready! I informed the concierge I was a gold member and if I could be upgraded. There was a little hesitation but Because my rooms were not ready, I was given club access for the duration of my stay. I do understand Wonder con was taking place and hotel was full. I am thankful for the staffsupport friendly and accommodating attitude. Also I hope they could appreciate my patience and understanding. Great stay! March 28, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty nice Since this hotel recently went through renovations, I think I expected more. The rooms were beautifully done, but I feel like some small things were missed (ie. a fan for the bathroom would be useful). The gym was too small and there was no pool; it's LA, a pool would have been a great addition. All the servers in the restaurant were great as well as the concierge staff. March 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel has terrible service The first impression was not reelly good as we came to the reception for check-in,two staff were too busy talking to receive us.We had to go to the third one instead. I was calling to ask a kettle to boil hot water to feed my baby when we were check-in on 7th March.I got a really really old ,dirty one with permanent dirt on the coil ,I think nobody could use it to feed baby. As he was very tired,he went to sleep with warm milk.But he did not very well sleep without warm milk or water.On the next day evening,I came to front desk to talk about the dirty kettle and asked some hot water.I was just given a bottle of hot water there.But unfortunately on 9th March ,I was told there was no hot water on the front desk,no CLEAN kettle to the room... Today it is still the ugly one in my room even I am calling for a NEW CLEAN one.That is awful. Actually ,the coffee machine was full of mould water and the window is dirty too. We planed to live here until weekend but All above OFFERS make us think to change to the other hotel instead. March 11, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Missing the Mark A full service hotel in a major international city needs to have room service, I was very surprised to find that the hotel does not offer in room dining when I tried to order breakfast. The staff's response of "we do not have in room food delivery" was all they would say, scripted and repeated. The vanity in my bathroom was way too small and seemed so strange compared to the wasted space in the rest of the room. March 3, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bed much too soft - shower much too hard Good location, friendly staff, and spacious room. BUT - For the price range, I expect a more comfortable bed. It was so soft, I sank into it (I am normal weight). I woke up several times in pain, due to being sunk down in the bed - this is NOT typical for me. Also, I usually find that hotel showers have too little pressure, but in this case, it was much too high. It was painful to shower, and the flow/pressure could not be adjusted at all. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for Traveling Pro: 1.Location is pretty good, metro station and supermarket in walk distance. 2.Direct connection with Macy's. 3.Richard at front desk is very helpful and does good in his job. 4.The view from room and lounge is good, and the bed is very soft. 5.The hotel responded very fast when I complained about the lounge's cleanness. 6.Deck at third floor is beautiful at night. Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Stay I was on honeymoon with my wife in Sheraton Downtown L.A and I had a wonderful stay there. The lobby is very clean and have a beautiful design. Richard at the reception was very kind and upgrade us with club lounge access for our honeymoon. The room was perfect, well decorated with a gorgeous view on the City. Special thank to Karla from the club lounge who was very friendly and professional and gave us very good advise about the city. She is making the difference in hotel and she is always ready to help. Breakfast in the club lounge was really nice and the view is amazing. Thank for everything January 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Above and Beyond The hotel staff (and I didn't get their names) went above and beyond in getting my suit jacket fixed. I arrived in LA with a missing button on my jacket. I called housekeeping and then followed up with a manager downstairs. They were able to find a matching button and get it sown on my jacket before my meetings the following day. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded Expectations! Good day, My stay was great, and the staff I dealt with delivered exemplary Customer Service. Geovany at the Front Desk was friendly, informative, quick to react to requests, and pleasant in every interaction we had. Luby, my bellman, was quick, attentive, friendly, and followed up on everything I inquired about. Tina, my server in the "District" Restaurant was outstanding, and worked to ensure that I had a great experience dining there. the food was also better than I'd expected. lastly, Juana from the Housecleaning team was very nice, and did a great job based on the parameters I'd requested. overall this place was nicer than I'd expected based on previous Sheraton stays, but the people made my experience outstanding. Rated 3 out of 5 by Stranger's dinner billed to room A $96 dollar dinner, not eaten by me, was charged to my room. The staff quickly reversed the charge, but the fact that when one calls to dispute a charge, you're directed to a voicemail box and told to email (you cannot talk to a person) is not ideal. The coffee bar in the lobby is underwhelming and not complimentary. January 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Everything at this hotel was fantastic! Recently renovated, the hotel lobby and the rooms had a much more young, modern look. The food at the district was also very tasty! Definitely try out the jerk chicken! The only thing that I would have to deduct a star for was some of the front desk staff. When checking in, the woman at the front desk wasn't too friendly and didn't offer me the option to make a green choice. During my time at the hotel, I had ignored housekeeping by placing the do not disturb sign outside my door. Usually, I'll get $5 vouchers everyday for ignoring housekeeping and redeem them for points when I check out. However, I didn't get those and I told the front desk attendant when I checked out and he didn't try to help me out or offer me any points. So unfortunately, there goes 1500 points.
