Our stay was wonderful, the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful, the room was excellent. They were under reconstruction but the staff explained everything and appoligized fro any inconvience. Outstanding hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone visiting downtown or surrounding area

Juan of Club Lounge for always attentive with all of guest needs.
Morgan for always smiling on the phone.
Joselito bellman who took care for our disney tours.
Jeffry graveyard front desk agent who processed our check out as early as 4:40 am effortless.

Even with the renovations going on, we had a wonderful experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Guest services were quick with our requests and the valet staff was just as friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel should not be open while they are still undergoing renovations. Under no circumstance should a 26 story hotel which is at capacity have only two functioning elevators. Over the course of a two day visit, I'm sure I spent at least an hour waiting for elevators or waiting on an elevator as it stopped at every single floor. Plus, there is no self-park option and valet is the only option. These things are absolutely unacceptable at any nightly rate - but ESPECIALLY at the inflated rate we were paying.
Avoid this hotel at all costs until the renovation is complete.

The guy and the manager in the reception was not accommodating and rude while check-in. As per the SPG.com, if you are a preferred member and book the hotel through SPG.com then your are eligible for complimentary internet but they have charged me for the internet.

Front desk was friendly, attentive and efficient. She said I had a renovated room. The elevator situation is REALLY bad! Lighting is bad, room is dusty, it was special needs so it was also akward. The is little space to place bathroom items, the toilet is gross, the shower was cold. The color scheme is dreadful. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in so I aprreciate that. The work out room was good.

Even though the hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, the staff was very nice & helpful for all of our needs! Miguel at the front desk was especially helpful & did a fantastic job! Rooms were very clean & neat! Can't wait to come back once renovations are done.

We were very pleased with our stay here in downtown LA. It was within walking distance to the Convention Center and Staples Center. We felt safe walking the streets even though there were homeless people to be seen. There are plenty of restaurants from fast food to upscale steak houses within walking distance.
The buffet breakfast was great. It was eggs, bacon, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, juices, toast and rolls. You couldn't ask for more. Breakfast is very important to my husband so this was great for him.
The room was quiet despite the repairs going on. The only issue was the elevators, but in the morning when things were really busy you could call for expedited service and they would take you on a service elevator to get you were you needed to go. It was a great idea and we utilized it several times.
We would definitely stay here again and probably will next year for the SoCal Volleyball Tournament.
