Rated 1 out of 5 by Very bad experience Recently stayed 5 nights in the hotel as part of my family's 3 weeks' vacation in West Coast USA, the experience is the worst among all the 8 hotels. Understand the hotel is undergoing renovations and hence some inconvenience is expected (which I can accept), however I must say that security was unexpectedly poor for a international hotel chain. Two incidents happened during our stay: 1) When we were walking back to our hotel one evening (around 5-6pm), we were approached by a shabbily dress lady near the lift lobby. She was holding some roses (guessed pretending to sell) and kept asking us where is the lounge. We ignored her and entered the lift, she actually followed us in. Fearing for my family's safety, i decided to alight at Level 2 and went to the recept. The lady actually continued to follow us. All these while, I was very sure the valet parking staff/bell boy on level 1 or concierge at level 2 must have noticed her, but NO ONE did anything. Very disappointing. - we noticed 2 men eating the complimentary breakfast during one of the morning. Again they were dressed very shabbily (actually clothes were dirty) and do not looked like a hotel guest. They were looking around at people very suspiciously as they consume the food. My family did not enjoy our stay nor rest well due to concern about our security. We were very relieved when our final day came and we checked out. Never have the same problem in the other hotels that we stayed in US. November 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by LADT I hope the renovation gets done soon. This is a fine hotel with excellent proximity to the metro system. Services and amenities are suffering during the renovation. November 16, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stay on March 9. I arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and waited for 30 minutes in line to approach the check in. I was told my room wasn't ready and w would be another hour. I asked the staff to call me in an hour to provide a status. However, an hour and half approached and I still didn't receive a call and was told my room was still not ready. Hotel policy is to the rooms ready by 3pm but as of 5:45 my room still wasn't ready. This made me late for my event because I couldn't get ready for it until i freshened up. I asked if the room could be discounted but they couldn't accommodate my request. I am very unhappy about their service and wouldn't recommend this hotel. March 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Be Mindful of Construction Going On The staff did a great job of accommodating my needs; however, there is a constructuion project going on that results in a delay in elevator wait times and some noise starting at about 6:45 am and lasting through the day. Because of our corporate rate and the location, I would stay there again, even with the construction, as I did not find the issues to be "deal breakers." Just be aware of the project before you book. Rated 1 out of 5 by 3 words to describe this hotel: What a dump! I am a travel industry professional and am responsible for managing corporate travel programs for Fortune 500 Companies. As a result, I am frequently on the road. Many years ago I stopped staying at Sheraton Hotels, as I saw a decline in the quality. I was booked into the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown by a colleague, mainly due to the location and the discounted industry rate. I was quicky reminded why I vowed not to stay at Sheraton hotels. The Front Desk area was loud and I could barely hear the woman who checked me in, due to excessive noise. I was put in a room on the 3rd floor and attached to a meeting room. The bathroom was dingy, paint peeling by the ceiling, with no washcloths. There was a broken thermostat on the wall and the room was too hot. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the only worthwhile aspect of the room. The wi-fi was additional fee and slow. I could hear people in the hallway, as if they were inside my room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and had I encouraged a client to use the hotel, I would be fired. October 3, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Would not stay here again This is the worst Sheraton I have ever stayed at and would not recommend anyone to stay here. The service is horrible, there are no basic amenities in the room (toothbrush, shower cap, fridge, safe). The "free" wifi they offered in the room is terrible. I could hardly get a good signal. Housekeeping didn't even clean our room and the front desk receptionist tried to blame us by saying we had left the do not disturb sign on our door. I stayed at this hotel because it was one of the host hotels for the CMC (fashion market). They offered a special price for the room including some extra perks like free wifi and half price on parking. Upon check in, the receptionist had no clue that this hotel was one of the host hotels which offered these special perks. I had to print a copy of the offer to show her and I waited at least 15 minutes at the receptions desk for her to confirm with her supervisor who was also not aware of this deal. Overall this was the worst experience I have had a Sheraton and I will never stay here again. October 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not let the lobby fool you The rooms in this hotel are horrible. I would have done better in a Motel 6. Paint was peeling from the bathroome ceiling and the bathtub had was rusted where the drain pipe was located. As a platinum member I was appalled at the condition of this hotel. I am now considering switching brand loyalties January 29, 2012
