Rooms are comfortable and staff service is excellent. Location on Norfolk's Waterside provides a great many exterior amenities to experience in the Norfolk downtown area.

The hotel is in a great location, on the water front - looking out at an old Navy vessel. It's just 20 minutes from Virginia Beach and to many restaurants in the area.

I truly enjoyed my stay, however completely disappointed with the two ladies serving in the bar. wo nights in a row, It took over 20 minutes to get service or a smile.

Great Hotel, had trouble with the wifi in my room after I paid for it. Good location with a lot of restaurant choices. Not that far from downtown and the airport.

The staff were very courtious, helpful and friendly. The Club lounge and fitness center added to the enjoyment of my stay.
I would definatly stay there again.

The room needs a microwave and refrigerator!!!!
The front entrance needs a covered vehicle loading and unloading area. When it rains everything gets wet.

Have stayed at this hotel twice, both times issues with front desk not knowing the job they do and being told incorrect information and charged double!!!

Check in took a long time although no one else was in line. I'm a gold member and I wasn't offered any perks like a free drink or extra points.

Perfect location to be able to walk to places to visit and eat..Lovely. We had our dog with us so were delighted to know it was pet friendly..

I booked the hotel for the Memorial Day weekend. I have stayed at other Sheraton hotels before and have been very satisfied. This is normally a good brand and reasonably priced but, the Norfolk Waterside property left me sorely disappointed. Everything about room was fine on check-in. On day two of our stay we returned to the hotel around 10pm and the room had not been cleaned, nor had linen or towels been replaced. The morning that we decided to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the place setting...specifically the glasses, were disgusting. I wish that I had a picture of it so that I could post it with this review. You could tell that someone had drunk out of it, there was a ring of what looked like donut glaze on the lip of the glass and possibly on the linen napkin as well. We went out for the day and again returned to a room that had not been cleaned. This was the second time and second day that we had to call down for service. I was not happy. It's the little things sometimes that can make a stay good or bad, and this was just unacceptable. Overall, great location and a nice view but...attention to detail, or rather lack there of made this a not so great stay.

We were greatly disappointed with the bathroom that was in our room 436. The decor appears to be 70's, no refrig in room,closet small.
