Stayed here for week b/w Xmas and NY in a 2 bedroom suite w/wife and 3 kids. Suite was huge, 2 king size beds in individual bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bedrooms have a smallish (30 inch +/-) flat screen and individual thermostat for HVAC, which is good if different family members want different temp. Living room is very large and has pull out sleeper and larger flat screen. Only negative is bedrooms didn't have working privacy latches and had only 1 usable outlet near bed; if you and spouse need to recharge phones while one of you is using laptop, you are short on plugs.
Hotel has heated pool and large hot tub, though they close at an earlish 10 pm. Breakfast buffet is decent (includes omelette station) and reasonably priced. Coffee, tea and juice is not charged extra, at least in our experience. We had free access to club level, which has continental breakfast and drinks, but the breakfast was pretty meager; though getting water or soda or coffee was nice throughout the day and free. Parking is free also. Not too far from parks (where NOTHING is free!). As an SPG category 2, redemption value is great if you use points, and if you have a couple kids, the suite is hard to beat.

We have stayed at this hotel the past 3 years for an event held there. This year the service throughout the hotel was very poor and definitely no where to standard.
When arriving there was one person at the desk for check in. We saw one bellman helping someone with their bags when we pulled up to the hotel but then he seemed to have disappeared. We couldn't even get a cart to bring up the items to our rooms. Room service was awful we ordered dinner they shorted us on drinks and sides. Our breakfast that we ordered to our room from the paper you leave outside your door was brought over 35 minutes later than requested and only brought up after we called. We were about to cancel it as we had an event to go to - we had to eat our breakfast in less than 10 minutes so we wouldn't be late. The pillows inside the pillowcase were filthy. There was no hair dryer in our room.
The restaurant was closed so we ate at the bar and the poor bartender had to be running back and forth doing everything.
There was another group at the hotel besides ours so it was very disappointing that they did not staff accordingly.
As mentioned before we have stayed here for the past 3 years so we were very shocked to have this kind of service especially from a Sheraton Hotel

I highly recommend that you ask for a room away from the pool side. During our stay on Saturday morning at 8am I was awaken by the staff person dragging the aluminum lounge chairs across the pool deck. The screeching sound woke me from a dead sleep. This continued for well over 5 minutes at which time I have had enough..I opened the sliding glass and yelled down to the woman dragging the lounge chair that I was trying to sleep and to stop dragging the chairs on the concrete.She said she was sorry, so I closed the slider and was now I trying to go back to sleep even thou I was already pissed off that there was no regard about the customers trying to sleep at 8 am. Then the sound started again! Apparently there were still about eight chairs that needed to be put neatly back in the row.... I called the front desk to speak with a manager, Juan ltold me that he will go out to the pool to help pick up the chairs.... So much for sleeping!!! Moral of the story if your looking for a GOOD night sleep... This isn't the place.
PS. Also I noticed that they chain locked the double doors to the pool area at night ( which is also an emergency exit) ... I guess they don't want kids running around the pool area at night...

While not all of the staff has this issue, most were very pleasant, unfortunately the one that did was enough to leave a very bad taste in my mouth concerning this location. We kept having issues with the key to the room demagnetizing, and on several occasions had to return to the desk to have the key re-coded. On most occasions, this was done very pleasantly and without hassle. On the final night of our stay, our son's key encountered this same issue and he had to return to the front desk to have the key reset while we were away. He called me on the phone before reaching the desk and I was on the line when he approached the overnight desk manager to please reset his key. Not only did she refuse to reset the key, but was extremely rude to him for even asking. When I got on the line to speak with this individual, she was extremely rude as well to me. Ultimately, she refused to reset the key even after I gave permission, and had him escorted to the room by security. The one thing that will make or break an experience for me is lousy, rude service from hotels employees. They are, after all, in the hospitality business. If you cannot be hospitable, you need to be in another business. While I have had primarily good experiences with Sheraton Hotels, this most recent most definitely did not qualify. Whoever the desk manager on duty the night of January 19, 2014 at the Sheraton Orlando North was most certainly needs a refresher in customer service. If this is how the staff is trained to respond to their customers needs, neither I or my family will be staying there again in the future.

First of all, I would like to say that my stay was mostly pleasant. The room was nice, the staff was helpful and the restaurant was good. Unfortunately, the stay also included the strangest and worst experience I ever had with a hotel, and that is what causes the average grade and no recommendation.
I noticed almost immediately that the toilet in my room behaved strange. This got worse after a few days, and since I did not want to use the toilet with no water in it at all I called the front desk. They told me that they of course would fix this and after a while a man showed up at the door. He handed me a plunger wrapped in a plastic bag, and told me to fix the toilet while he waited outside. I had to ask again, since I didn't believe I heard right, but obviously they expected me to fix it myself. So I had to use the plunger in the toilet and then clean the bathroom floor with one of my towels, since that was the only thing I had.
When I meantioned this the day after at the Front Desk, they didn't seem that surprised or the least upset (I obviously was!). I don't know if things work differently in this country, but where I come from you would never be forced to fix the toilet when you pay 170 dollars a night to stay at a hotel...
