The hotel bar has to be the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The barman is inattentive and despite there only being 7 customers, people were frustrated at having to wait for service. I sat with 2 empty glasses and my empty plate whilst trying to order another drink. The bartender was lazy, failing to clear glasses and hiding away in a room off the bar for extended periods as he was clearly bored and didn't want to make conversation. Customers came and left as there appeared to be no service. The store room door was permanently propped open with a grotty wooden wedge with no regard for the customer experience and revealing an untidy back of house fridge and staff notices. Just dreadful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ERinNC This hotel made me feel very unwelcomed - ruined my daughters birthday trip
I booked this hotel online - it was as if the minute the reservation clerk saw that it was a discounted room her demeanor changed. The check in process provided no information and didn't make me feel welcomed. I had to ASK about parking and where the elevators were and what the room number was.
Once in the room, it smelled like cigarettes, so I went down to the desk and requested another room. I was told that there were none with a beach view - even though I had just heard another clerk say that they had 5 available).

Booked a one day getaway here; it was our first visit to this hotel. We booked an executive suite, and received a complementary upgrade to the Presidential Suite. The hotel was so awesome, we didn't even go out that night! We just stayed, enjoyed the amenities and room service, and the beautiful view of the skyline and ocean! We will definitely stay again, and now we can better prepare for the trip, but yes, A+ experience all the way.

Always a pleasure to visit this facility, but during the Myrtle Beach off-season the staff and general upkeep of the Hotel do not take a break. Clean, worry-free stay with a host of professional staff to ensure your time with them is enjoyable.

I was very shock not to have a airport shuttle pick up at a Sheraton with a Convention Center. The airport was only 3 mile away and it cost me 20 dollars for the trip each way. Then I book 2 double beds for my family and that was wrong it took me a half hour to get that square away. I was on hold with the manager because she was with another customer but what they didnt know was I was standing there on my cell and she was with no one granted she was on the computer but I feel the Sheraton need to do a better job the shuttle still shocks me.
I travel a lot with American airline I do not use learn hotel much someone needs to tell me why I should start using Sheraton.

This hotel exceeded our expectations with the exception that there is no pool. It is on the other side of the beach from Hwy 17, but still has a distant view of the ocean from upper floors.
The staff is great and the SPG Lounge is a great place for pre dinner drinks and hors douvres.
