Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel gets the job done; good but not great The hotel is a fairly basic Sheraton. The location within Mendoza is decent (not great). The actual facilities and guest rooms are nice. Highlights were the rooftop club and the great experience at check-in--a glass of wine upon check-in. Hotel staff was extremely warm and friendly. Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel rooms are good, but food needs improvement The menu selection for lunch and dinner is extremely limited. I have coeliac disease and there were only two optins that met my dietary needs. November 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bed and good location The room is very comfortable. The breakfast is OK but not great. The staff is nice. It is very conveniently located in the city center. November 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel has terrible service DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER ASKING ANY STAFF MEMBER ( including managers) for any assistance in visiting wineries !!! All they are capable of is selling packaged tours ( commisionable), but extremely poor at providing knowledgable information concerning visits (although they claim to have familiarity). their communication skills and follow up are the worst I have ever experienced, especially considering the hotel doesn't have a concierge, but claims that the front desk is capable if providing this service! Being that that the main tourism in the region IS wineries, I would recommend choosing a diferent hotel or actually staying at one of the new boutique hotels at many of the wineries themselves. Rated 2 out of 5 by quality has deteriorated The hotel supplied me with a small room, although I am a lifetime platinum member. The room was not cleaned and the towels not changed dur8ing the stay,. They failed to leave bottled water; the internet connection failed several times. The elevators stopped working on one day for several hours forcing me to walk down 15 flights for an important meeting. March 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay in Mendoza My fiancé and I just completed a 5-stay at the Sheraton Mendoza, and it was fantastic! The room was very comfortable, with a nice layout, great view, and large bathroom. The breakfast buffet in the Club lounge was a real treat. It was good quality and ample. Similarly the evening snacks and wine were nice. Just get there early enough to have a couple glasses of the good quality Malbec. We also enjoyed the spa and fitness facilities. The gym is complete, with excellent gym-quality equipment. The indoor pool was big and warm, and the hot tub was relaxing. Staff was friendly, professional and responsive. Overall we were very pleased with this location. April 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best option in Mendoza Sheraton is an amazing hotel option for Mendoza, it offers full infrastructure to its guests (swimming pool, restaurants, mountain view, casino, etc). Well located in the center of the city so most attractions are close by. The attention offered by the staff was amazing, I truly felt like royalty. I would definetly recommend this hotel. Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazing Location and Views Our stay at Igauzu Fall Sheraton was perfect. First seeing the hotel, driving you, you may think that this hotel is a little hard on the eyes, and it does look a little run down on the outside. Once you walk into the lobby and see the amazing view of devils throat, you forget about the outside appearance. Our room was amazing. The lack of maintenance on the outside of the pool did not show in the room. We had a huge balcony that also overlooked the falls. The room was incredibly clean and updated. The view of the falls makes everything else seem not to matter. The pool is comfortable and great to lay around after walking in the park. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food was not good, but with limited options you can survive a couple days on it. January 17, 2014
