I been at almost most of Sheraton hotels... never experienced so unprofessional manager or front desk personal. No recognition for my gold status membership.. no upgrading, no even nice welcome greetings... that is most bad experience of my stay in Sheraton in china. Never again... that hotel.

I booked a non-smoking room and came in with sort of smells. The hardware is poor compared to its 5* level. For e.g., floor is made up of stone but it's very easy to find there's some broken parts... The TV set is using 1990's device. Painting is not professional.
Actually the whole basic condition in this hotel is quite good. Everything is not qualifier a little. When it's accumulated, the feel is very bad.
The table at reception is messing up
The only reason I book next time (if any) is the close distance to airport.

Hotel has been saying they will upgrade for 9 years, no upgrade in site. Perfect place to put employees that have no choice over their hotel, since it is the lowest price. Would never stay again myself.

The hotel is pretty aged and would need an urgent overhaul- the only advantage is that it is close to our office which makes it convenient.
The restaurants are below average and half of the dishes offered in the French restaurant was not available.
Overall it feels like staying in an old Soviet-UNion style hotel.

I stayed with my family in two rooms this time. The club floor room was MUCH nicer than the regular floor room, as we booked two different rooms with one being on the club floor (for paying for the club floor price) while the othe room on a lower floor.
This was my very first visit after my previous stay at this hotel in 2000. The lower floor does not seem to have gone through any renovation at all! The carpet in the hallway and in our room (the regular floor room) was stained and I am not sure whether it is clean or not.
The club lounge was closed and we were offered to use the "Elite" lounge. While the staff was friendly, the food offering was amongst some of the worst that I have ever experienced. The food is clean but the quality and choice is not the best.
I am using the standard based on my experience from all Sheraton Club Lounge, not even mentioning that this hotel's lounge is far behind any Sheraton club lounge in other asian locations, such as Bangkok, Singapore and Sydney.
I was very disappointed, as this is far below my impression and my expectation since my last visit to this hotel in 2000. I am almost disheartened.

My stays at this hotel make me feel like I am at home in the comfort of my own house. The support staff know me and ask if they can do anything to make my stay better. Even with new people, they take the extra effort to make sure my needs come first. I say this not only for my recent stay, but coming to this hotel for the last 20+ years, I can not remember a stay this did not go beyond my expectations!
