Rated 4 out of 5 by Jase A Good Stay in Baltimore
I arrived at the hotel and was disappointed with the car parking below: the rates are rather high, and I would have hoped the property might have done a deal with Edison Parking. HOWEVER, the level of customer service was very good and the stay was good, overall, for the money spent. I received a suite upgrade for Platinum status and the room was very clean. The service in the Club Lounge in the evening and the mornings with Larhonda was fabulous: she made us feel very welcome--almost like her own family. The property is lcoated close enough to many key attractions and it is all within walking distance.

Excellent Service in the Lounge expecially in the evening. Larhonda was great, funny, and provided for a warm environment. I would recommend City Center to SPG members visitng the Baltimore area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PJackson Solid hotel all around, best SPG option in Baltimore
Best SPG option in Baltimore, in my opinion. Status is always recognized and usually rewarded. Location is good but not great (not right in the Inner Harbor, but only a 5 minute walk or so). Dining facilities are a bit lacking but I don't usually expect a lot from hotel restaurants and don't typically eat there. Rooms are clean and fairly updated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by myabear DISGUSTING
The room was disgusting. Dust caked EVERY lampshade in the room and bathroom. The exhaust vent in the bathroom was clogged with lint/dust. The AC unit was also COVERED with lint/dust, and whatever else was growing on it. 18th floor, and the windows opened! About 8 inches on the left side and ALL THE WAY, ABOUT 3 FEET, on the right!! I'm glad I was not traveling with curious children, that might of opened that window, as the pool was below. Dirt and dead bugs on the window sill. The mattress pad on the bed was not fitted to the mattress, it was just laid on top under the bottom sheet. Every time you moved, it did also, and bunched up, made for a VERY uncomfortable sleep. The desk chair had dried up food on the seat. THE WORST HOTEL ROOM I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by deerisle Wonderful staff and service
I stayed at this property while attending a conference in the Inner Harbor area, and I was pleased with my choice. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The club lounge is well-stocked for breakfast or evening snacks, and the service in the restaurant is excellent. The crab soup and club sandwich were amazing. There are evening specials in the bar, and good beers on tap.
There are not many suites at this property, so it is not likely to get a platinum upgrade, but I was happy with my corner room and access to the club lounge. From the time I arrived to my departure, all of the staff were very helpful and nice. The room was very clean, and the daily service was excellent.
I look forward to returning soon.

I left a very good review when I checked out of the hotel 2 weeks ago, because I felt staff were friendly and helpful.
2 weeks later, I found out that although I particiated in the 'Make a green choice' event but the points were not added into my startwood card, which is not a big deal, as long as I can work with the hotel to sort it out. So I have spent my whole morning calling the hotel, only got told that they can do nothing after I checked out. Yes, I get that, but wasn't that something you should have done properly when I checked out? I actually did get confirmed before I left the hotel that this is all handled. But during my calls with the front desk, all i was told is the staff has done correctly what they were supposed to do and they can do nothing about it after I checked out. Seriously? not even a 'Sorry' or offering help to check with SPG to fix your mistake? The attitude is Unbelievable. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this is way beyond my experience with any hotels. I am sorry but I have to leave this comment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HawaiiSamurai Reminds You Why to Choose Starwood
Hands down the best guest experience for the money in any Starwood property that I have stayed in the continental United States. The guest relations manager was standing in-line with guest at check-in and made everyone feel welcome. Drinks and cookies were provided. Room upgrade then given. Butler delivered bags without issue. Pool was large and clean. Workout room was modern and the size of my neighborhood gym. Staff consistently exceeded expectations. As a SPG member, provided free drink and internet without having to explain my benefits (as I have had to remind staff before). All of this for $99 a night! Plus, the neighborhood restaurants (Tio Pepe and Helmand) were amazing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SusanE Never received Points
I booked three rooms for six nights at this hotel during a "bonus" period that supposedly doubled my points after registering in the special program. I also elected to take part in the 'green' program for all three rooms for the length of my stay. They must have record that I was in this program, because even when I requested to opt out of the program one day they told me if I did I'd forfeit all my points. I received vouchers for $5 off the restaurant each day, but didnt use them because I preferred to get the points. When, after I returned home, I learned that I didn't receive ANY points for my stay I called to fixit. It was then that I was told that if I didn't turn in the $5 off coupons upon checkout, I wouldn't receive the 'green' points. This little detail wasn't included in my.checkin discussion of the plan and it wasn't written on the coupon to the cafe. I became an SPG member this year so that I could earn vacation time with my family whenever I took a business trip. I will not seek out a Sheraton property again. The points program is a total sham. They didn't clean my room (or the ther two rooms under my name) for my entire stay-- since when does 'green' mean that no one even shows up to take out the trash or straighten the linens? What kills me is that they refused to recognize the fact that I sacrificed (as did my other two business associates) because I failed to turn in the coupons. They know they didn't clean the rooms and its not hard to figure out the coupons were not used in their restaurant. I don't know why my monthly statement says I never stayed there at all (or why I failed to receive the double points I registered for before my trip.) The person in charge of these things at the Sheraton City Center never returned my call after the front desk said he would be given the message.
On the upside, I did enjoy the restaurant staff on my first day. The rooms, even on the upper floors, are loud from sirens, bars letting out at 2am and dogs in the dog 'park'. Parking is cheaper and very convenient across the street.
