Very poor toilet tissue--like sandpaper
Very poor chairs in bar--all "sat out."
Chairs in dining room too low to the floor. Felt like we were squatting. We were seated next to a very dusty heating/cooling vent.
Prices for food and drink quite high.

Excellent customer services. We were staying at the hospital as my father was in critical condition at the Duluth hospital. Staff was very thoughtful, helpful and made us feel very cared for.

...this is the place to stay. The hotel is located downtown with convenient access to everything. The staff is phenomenal and the amenities are plentiful. The restaurant offers a comprehensive menu, which makes for a great place to unwind at the end of the day. There is a great workout facility, too. I look forward to my trips here, as they always offer a great experience.

We stayed at the Sheraton on Saturday, March 15, for a wedding celebration at Greysolon. Our accomodations were so clean and comfortable! When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bedding was like new! So crisp smelling and comfortable! My only complaint was that there was a dog barking non-stop at 11:00 at night, and the people next to us were very loud, kids yelling and doors slamming. This went on for about 2 hrs. Other than that, we had a great stay.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years. Duluth is our favorite weekend getaway destination. We try to stay on the club floor.
The quality of food in the club lounge has steadily gone downhill. There used to be a warm entree in the evening, but this last time there was none. There also seems to be a huge turn over in staff as the last few times we have stayed the only familiar person was the shuttle driver. On check-in, our reservation was not right. First, we were told there were no other rooms as they were "full" but then when pressed, they actually found a room to match the type I had reserved. It used to be the policy that dogs were delegated to one floor, but now they are all over the place.

The lady that checked us in was rude. The room was dusty. Tuesdays paper was under the door and we checked in on a Thursday afternoon. There was not an extra blanket provided for the pull out sofa bed. The glass water glasses were smudged. The checkout process was horrible. There was a food/beverage charge on our bill and the staff did not know how to remove it. We did not charge any food or beverage to the room during our one night stay. It took over 45 minutes to checkout. I'm still not entirely sure if the amount charged to my credit card is entirely accurate. The staff at this hotel at the front desk is lacking in skills.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and I like almost everything -- great staff, rooms, restaurant, fitness center. The one huge problem they have is the wifi. In many of the rooms it is barely possible to connect and the bandwidth is horrible. I would be happy to pay if I could get a decent connection. Instead you have to pay and get no connection. Otherwise I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Rid yourself of cabin fever with an overnight in Duluth at the Sheraton. It's within easy walking distance of Zinema 2 theater and great restaurants. Attached walkway to parking makes winter cold and snow less of a problem.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was wonderful for a hotel. The location is in the heart of downtown and there is fun and interesting things to do and see.

I've stayed at the Sheraton Duluth several times and have had great experiences every time. However, this stay wasn't up to my expectations. I recommended this hotel for a friends bachelorette party. Before we went out, we turned the heat down because it was very warm in the room. When we got back we noticed it was still very warm so we turned the air on and figured we would just turn it off in a few hours. We then went to bed. I woke up around 5 AM covered in sweat. The heating system must have been broken because it was just blowing hot air into the room all night. Very uncomfortable!!!
In the morning we were rolling the pull out couch back up and noticed something white on the floor under the couch. It turned out to be some sort of VERY MOLDY food! Yikes. the carpet around the food was also starting to mold so it must have been there for quite a while. :(
Not the best stay but like I said before. I've had a great experience there every time before that.

My car in the garage had its battery go dead and the shuttle driver and one of the maintenance men were kind enough to help me get it started. They were very helpful and extremely service oriented.

As a former Duluth native, I really appreciate the modern accomodations now available on the east side of downtown. The entire hotel promises to change my visiting experience in Duluth. My only criticism is the sneaky charge for internet. We spent one night, and after my family connected their devices I had 3 charges for $4.95 each for internet (although one had automatically been reversed by 'JP'. The room rate was very reasonable - if a surcharge must be attained for this service, why not just bump up the rate by $5?
Otherwise, I found everything else professional, convenient & all around impressive.

I've been staying here a long time. As the hotel has gotten more popular, I feel that the environment has become much noisier and loud people and parties occur more frequently, especially on weekends. Occasionally, I feel like with the increase in business, less attention has been given to maintenance issues like rattling HVAC intakes, hot water temperature/pressure, banged up walls and furniture. While the staff is attentive, professional and very friendly, I think it would be great if personal follow up of reported issues with a room was forthcoming.

The parking is hard when dealing with the hockey bags.
a breakfast should be provided. With games at 8 in the morning if not sooner the kids need to eat something.
No frig or microwave was a bummer too.

I booked our room in November for my husbands graduation from St. Scholastica. An event 2 years in the making and very important. I had such high hopes for the hotel. We checked and quickly found that we were not going to like our stay as we were placed on the same floor as a youth hockey team who were loud and incredibly disruptive late into the evening. Despite a call to the front desk and security never coming to address the issue we did manage to get to sleep with the use of ear plugs. The following morning it was snowing. After the horrible nights sleep we contemplated eating at the 301, but did so anyway for saving time. It again was a miserable experience. Our waitress was awful. Despite that the food was great. We were glad to check out and leave. I did inform the desk clerk, who said she would credit my account with points. I have yet to see this. I doubt we will ever be back to your hotel. Not sure what you could do to convince us otherwise. Sad this will be part of my husband graduation memory.

My wife got red wine spilled on her outfit during a party we were attending. The hotel staff took the clothing and not only did they get all the stains out, had it waiting and ready for us the next morning. That is awesome.
