Rated 4 out of 5 by Mixed bag Two different stays during the week - mixed reviews. Closest SPG location to the airport and has a free shuttle, so decided to stay here on the first and last nights of our trip to New Orleans. Late airport arrival and was told we had to call the hotel for the shuttle once we got our luggage and were on our way to the transportation center. Long story short - they only have the one shuttle and it had a pre-scheduled pick up for an air crew, so it would only be able to transport us to the hotel if we wanted to wait at the center (and then in the van) until the air crew was ready - told it would only be 15-20 minutes longer. Turned out to be 40 minutes. However, on returning to the airport, we were able to book the shuttle and everything went very smoothly. Club lounge is one of the least impressive SPG club lounges that we have ever experienced in facilities and offerings. Most hotel staff members were pleasant and helpful. However, the first night my wife left her bathrobe on a hook on the bathroom door and we forgot it. That afternoon, after checking into our new hotel and unpacking, my wife realized she had left her robe and spent several calls telling the staff about the left item and trying to get in touch with someone might be able to help. We finally got some information upon our return, which was that the person who cleaned our room had not been available to ask about it and when she was, the answer we got was - "we didn't find it and don't know what happened to it". That's a reasonable answer, but don't know why it took two days to get it. The rooms themselves are average Sheraton standard. The main reason that I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 3 is due to Hedges Bar and Grill. After two days in downtown New Orleans, upon returning to the hotel our last night, we just didn't want to go out anywhere for dinner - so we just ate at Hedges Bar and Grill at the hotel. My Seafood Aioli Pasta was just as good as the best meal that I had in NOLA .They also had a large selection of bottled local craft beers. If you've never been to New Orleans, this is definitely not where you would want to base your stay. But it does offer a good accommodations option for a late airport arrival or early departure - or even first night's arrival by car, as there is no overnight parking fee. June 3, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs renovation The location and price of the hotel are great but the carpets stink. My room had the same smell. The staff were helpful. They need renovations badly otherwise they will lose customers. April 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by School Trip As a businessman, I choose a hotel for comfort and services. I received little of either during my stay. It appears that I was placed in a room amongst approximately 100 secondary school children away from home on a school trip. My complaints of loud talking and doors slamming starting at 8pm were supposedly noted by Megan at the front desk, but no action to curtail the noise was evident. I went into the 4th floor hallway at 9:30 and found a chaperone for the children who told me that she was pretty sure there would be a curfew that night, but that the time was not determined. There was no hotel management follow-up to my messages. April 7, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by It Met My Needs I stayed here for one night and all went well. It's a side-of-the-highway hotel with not much around it, except for office buildings. As a platinum member, I was upgraded to a good-sized suite. As the room had a musty smell, I was moved to another room, which was fine. The workout center and pool were on the small side, but fine. The club lounge was small and a little bit lacking (no milk, juice, or oatmeal). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They all had a smile on their face, which was nice. Parking is free in an attached garage. If you're in the are for business or event, this hotel works. I would stay here again if in the area. February 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel The hotel is very clean, with easy access to the Interstate for traveling. Stayed on the Club Level with continental breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres available. Very good food and quite convenient. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Had a good stay. February 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by MISREPRESENTATION I signed up for the extra starpoints for being "green". After the stay, I checked to see that the 500 points offer I signed up for were deposited into my account. I emailed a rep stating that I did not receive the points. Apparently, a check-in clerk is to ask if you want a $5.00 restaurant coupon or the points. I was not offered either, and did not get anything for going "green" at this hotel. I did not receive a change of linen, towels, or resupply of any items. Very disappointed in Sheraton hotels for not correcting this issue. February 13, 2016
