Rated 2 out of 5 by Underwhelmed I was in town for a conference, so I understand that early check in is not always a possibility, however I was told I'd get a phone call when my room was ready. That never happened. I went back to the front desk many hours later and secured a room. There was no phone cord on my phone in the room. Meaning, the phone was not attached to the base. This was not a cordless phone either. The bathroom was handicap accessible, so no counter space at all and the one outlet in the bathroom didn't work. I recently stayed at a hotel 1/3 of this price and it was nicer and the staff more in tune with the guests needs. I was very disappointed. September 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Staff would not listen Firstly, I asked not to be charged to my credit card, as my company had pre-paid my stay and I had been robbed in Africa last year. This did not happen, including going to extraordinary lengths from Australia to avoid this. I was charged for incidentals TWICE (even though I had approval and evidence that I didn't have to pay this way) and lost AU$228.26 because of this process. I am very angry staff didn't listen and on discovery of this, the front receptionist was not willing to help me - it was like "ring back in the morning". Rude. Very disappointing. And did I mention my room flooded because of a faulty toilet? Yes, the toilet ran forever and wouldn't stop. Very upset. September 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good hotel, but check-in/out process was clunky I stayed at the hotel as part of the conference and was happy with the ammeneties. My only issue was the check-in and out process. We arrived at 11am, our room wasn't ready and the man who checked us in said he'd call us when it was. Fast forward to 4:30pm, no call, and when we went to the front desk the origonal man checked us in wrong and it took over 30 minutes for them to resolve. Come time to check out and it took over 45 minutes to be checked out after they couldn't figure out how to split up a bill, eventhough the rooms were pre-paid. Now, since checking out, I received over 12 emails with receipts from the hotel. I'm guessing I will still be over charged and something won't be correct. September 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kudos to Suzanne at the Concierge I want to thank Suzanne at the Concierge Desk in Chicago for her assistance Sat., Sept. 27, when I was trying to find out the status of my return flight in light of the O'Hare-related fire that disrupted and canceled hundreds of flights. She was helpful, patient, tenacious and incredibly nice. She made a very stressful situation bearable. Give her a raise or bonus! Thanks, too, to Max at Reception, for extending my checkout time while I tried to figure out what to do. September 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent weekend Excellent service from responses to requests to in-room dining, all delivered with good attitudes and helpfulness. The staff all are professionals and well-versed in how to field questions from when is my flight to where is the nearest pet store. This was during the weekend of the fire that affected air travel at O'Hare, so visitors were anxious about that and had lots of questions. The room was stellar: clean, well-appointed and with a lovely view. Room service food was delish. I can't think of any negative except for the spotty WiFi in the meeting rooms. Rated 5 out of 5 by upgrade amenities Upon arrival, we upgraded our room to include 'happy hour' and breakfast. The breakfast was just right, but the 'happy hour' was a disappointment. We have had much nicer receptions at comparable hotels. This needs some improvement! September 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room Type I was booked in a handicapped room,the clerk upon check in asked if that was okay.He then stated if he moved me my view would be less desireable. I stayed with the room they choose for me. I was very disapointed to find when showering the water flowed over the entire bathroom floor. When getting ready I was standing in water, and it stayed most of the day.So maybe when a room is being booked give them a regular room,or explian they may be standing in water if they accept a handicaped room,and offer a lower rate. Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel yes, Accounting no I had meetings at this hotel along with a couple of co-workers. The hotel was nice and staff was courteous. The problem came from accounting. We did direct billing for room/tax and each person provided their own credit card for incidentals, such as room service, parking, etc. We were double billed, had people outside of our group on our direct billed cc. Rated 3 out of 5 by No show for room service for surprise birthday wish Front desk upon check-in great. ChiBar staff great. On hold wait time for room service horrible. I called Sat morning for a Sunday in room delivery of strawberries and mimosas for a surprise birthday wish during our getaway weekend. No show. No delivery. No record in room dining services of order. Manager to call room back - no call! Back! Completely disappointing and I will not stay for business or pleasure at this Sheraton again. September 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by WONDERFUL HOTEL On top of being in the perfect location in the city of Chicago, the Sheraton Hotel & Towers is a great hotel. The rooms are clean, comfy and a fabulous view outside from any room. I've stayed here 5 times over the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you when needed, be it for luggage, information or just to see how things are going. You can walk out the front door and Navy Pier, Michigan Ave,, the Hancock building, etc.; are all within walking distance. The food in the various outlets of the hotel is delicious and Shula's is 5 star excellence. You can't go wrong at this hotel. September 9, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Location was great, room not so great Proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc was fantastic. We were a little disappointed with the room. Noise level between rooms was high. The shower drain was really really slow - yuck! The fridge door wouldn't close so we used the garbage can to keep the door shut. Also could not figure out how to change the time on the clock (and we're both college educated adults). Bed was really comfy though. We ate at Shula's and to be honest we were disappointed-high price for very little food. September 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel Stayed at the hotel for a wedding, but also had a lot of work to do that weekend. The room was great and provided a fantastic nights sleep. There was a nice work area in the room with reliable internet for work. The quality of the hotel dining opportunities was excellent. The wedding reception was also wonderful and the staff and facility for the reception was very good. September 8, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Concierge ROCKS Demtrius was our concierge man and he was amazing as far as describing what to expect from the places he suggested! SHAWS was incredible! Tre Soldi off the HOOK! My kids were both impressed with all restaurants and attractions he suggested! Loved our time in Chicago! September 8, 2014

The rooms are a bit dated (e.g. small safe, with a key), but the overall room and bathroom quality is good. Very large Club Lounge, with good service. Overall, very friendly staff. September 7, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Traveling with family then divided A special occasion of a family wedding including two kids required adjoining rooms with reservations made months in advance. The concern for rooms was again confirmed prior to the weekend again confirming we traveled with kids and what happened? The hotel placed our reservation on arrival in room 1817 and 1846! No excuse for placing our kids next to a batchelor party group and the adjoining room of ours next to two single guest of the same wedding we attended which did not have to happen. Additional result was the need to go buy added grooming goods normally shared and our kids hearing the late night "arrival" outside their door. I understand the hotel was full however, no excuse for poor organization or care of guest request. The rooms were clean but the concern for kids next to batch party group is the fail of the weekend. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel in a Great Location Stayed here for a wedding. Enjoyed facilities and location. My wife and I like to walk and there is much of Chicago within easy walking distance. Room very comfortable. Appreciated and took advantage of the Green option. Would definitely stay here again. September 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by better food offerings needed This large hotel would benefit by significantly increasing in the available food options. In particular, there should be an option for breakfast other than a Starbucks store which is located on a floor that cannot be reached by the main elevators, and a less formal restaurant than Shulas that is open for breakfast and lunch. The only lunch option is a hamburger joint. Arriving late evening, I was told the only dining option was Shulas, which is a steakhouse. Going to the on-site store revealed only candy. August 30, 2014

It's finely appointed and has that "perfect" smell that seems so inviting. Everything seems newly remodeled. The conference area is very functional and comfortable. August 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect conference location This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Chicago, so there is plenty to do for family members while you attend conference. Rated 5 out of 5 by friendly, nice locale, club level is sweet! Much prettier in person. Club level is really nice perk and the staff is extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, spectacular views, right on the river...easy walk to anything needed. Comfy and clean rooms. Lobby scent smells fresh. Shower head feels like a mini massage. Love the "green option" of bonus points for skipping daily linen service. Really, can't say enough wonderful things about this very nice hotel. Would stay there again, without hesitation! Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Views Easy, fast check in, great service with Valet parking. Nice surprise for being SPG. the Free WiFi is wonderful. Only issue, was we asked for an extra pillow and blanket and they never brought them to our room. My son ended up sleeping with the extra pillow and comforter from my bed August 25, 2014
