Rated 5 out of 5 by warm welcome From the moment I walked into your hotel I was greeted with a smile and asked if they could carry my bags for me. As I was checking in hundreds of marathon runners were checking out so it was very busy but the front desk did not miss a beat. The "can do" attitude of your team continued until I checked out several days later. Another bonus, the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. December 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Annual Holiday family stay at the the Sheraton This year the stay was all that was expected and more. The Sheraton generously made good on their promise to provide a better experience than last's year's less than acceptable accommodations. Thank You for making us want to return next year to the Sheraton. December 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very good with exceptions Chose this hotel after multiple previous visits. Special requests for anniversary weekend were well handled by manager and staff. But for the second time at this hotel, the final bill did not reflect the promised credit for Internet access (rectified after phone call), and Club Lounge late night "desserts" was a plate with a few broken cookies at 8:30 PM. Rated 3 out of 5 by Slow Our reservation was made 2 weeks prior to our stay. The room was not ready for nearly 2 hours after check-in time (1h56m to be precise). No offer of any sort of compensation was made for this time wasted sitting in the lobby. Our request for adjoining rooms made upon reservation was not accommodated, either, and our party's 2 rooms were on separate floors. Guest parking is poorly marked. The rest of the stay was as expected, except for a barking dog in the next room. If pets are allowed, guests should be informed that they are present on certain floors, if they're restricted to certain floors. In fairness, did not complain about this because I assume nothing would have been done. The hotel is a nice one, and centrally located. December 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Couple of things kept it from being really nice 1. The elevator to parking is really really slow. Worse, the valet is located above regular parking but has its button below it - so the buttons go Ground, L2, L1 which is just crazy (especially if you push the wrong button since they are really really slow) 2. The elevators to the parking are pretty beat up. This is the first impression you get at this hotel and not a good one. Fortunately the rest of the place is in better shape. 3. Things were broken in our room - remote and sink drain (would not close). The sink drain not closing is a huge issue if you have contacts. 4. Rooms are small - but we knew this from staying there before. 5. Breakfast was taken down very early on Saturday morning. We came up at 10:30AM and everything was gone. This made our upgrade to the club level almost worthless. Overall, we still like this hotel, but with just a few changes it could be just about perfect. December 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by MidWest Clinic Terrific hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff and wonderful location! December 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Another good experience Arrangements and communication continually improve at this property. Keep the trend of personalization and listening going in the right direction. December 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Elevator Elevator to self park garage broken. Had to walk down three flights of stairs. Also no sign by elevator, so waited for 15 minutes before anyone told us it was not working. Very poor. December 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendliest Place Had a wonderful stay in this lovely Hotel right near the river and Michigan Avenue. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel with lots of options for relaxing around the lobby and bar. Also dined at Shula's and had a lovely meal. Would recommend this hotel and stay here again. Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great Stay I have to say each and every time I stay at this hotel I have a great experience. The staff are some helpful and accommodating; they treat you like family. The recent renovation has given the hotel new life. I look forward to my stays in the hotel and cannot wait until my next visit. December 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel I stayed here for a few nights attending a conference, Food, staff and facilities were legit. I would recommend. December 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent staff You have phenominal staff, expecially the front desk and concierge. They ansered all of my questions and made my stay problem free. December 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bargain night at the Sheraton We got an excellent bargain offer from Sheraton in an email and were happy to stay after an office holiday party. The room was spacious, the bath sparkling, clean, the bed very comfortable and the check-in staff welcoming and friendly. We would recommend Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers to anyone. Rated 5 out of 5 by Chicago Sheraton was fabulous! Close enough to walk to great venues, Taxis were no problem to get, staff was excellent, food was delicious, and conference amenities were great. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! December 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Housekeeping Staff needs some training - charged me for minibar items from previous occupant December 18, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't get what was confirmed a month in advance I booked 4 rooms for my daughters 16th birthday celebration for 8 guests. I asked permission first by calling the hotel directly in November. I booked the rooms a month in advance. I received a confirmation stating that we would receive the 4 requested connecting rooms. When we arrived, we were told we had two rooms on the 22nd floor and two on the 21st floor. What kind of birthday celebration would that be? When we told the young man at the desk what we expected, he said he was just telling us what the computer was telling him and approached the situation without offering any solutions. After staring at each other for awhile, we had to become visibly upset and show him the email confirmation before he tried to help us resolve the matter. He kept looking at us as though his hands were tied and repeated it was in the computer, until I told him I made these plans and received a confirmation a month in advance and I showed him this on my phone. In the meantime, while he tried to work things out for us with guest services, the entire lobby of registrants disappeared and were served by other staff, with the girls in our party being the only ones left. My daughter wanted to know if everything was ok because they were all waiting so long. How embarrassing to her and us! The solution was we were finally given two additional rooms in close proximity to the two connecting rooms on the 21st floor. Since we prepaid and we were trying not to lose anymore time to celebrate, we felt we had no choice but to accept the disconnected rooms. Once we arrived onto the 21st floor, only one of the four keycards was functional. After 45 minutes of trying to check in and having all the girls wait to try to get in, we felt embarrassed by a lack of immediate access to the correct rooms we booked. My husband had to return downstairs to get the keys to become functional. Once we were settled in, we lost an hour of time, and we were not able to take the girls ice-skating, so our plans for my daughters very well thought out 16th birthday were ruined. After returning from dinner, we were too late to make it to the pool. We stopped by to check out the pool, and there were 6 underage children playing on the fitness equipment with one young lady telling us we couldn't get into the pool anymore. Upon checkout, we were told by the concierge that it's automatic check out and we would receive an email confirmation at 12pm on 12-15. We did not receive such an email. I would have stayed to dispute any overcharges (if there even are any) had there not been a line almost out of the door the day we left. We still don't even know whether we were charged for any incidentals and what the totals were. The concierge had to call someone and I overheard her say something along the lines of "the lobby is getting ugly, we need some help". The service was strangely inadequate and unexpected - they smile at you but seem disingenuous. The bright sides were the comfortable beds and great pillows, and the valet personnel - they greeted us with a smile and were so efficient. I made careful plans a month in advance for a very important birthday for my child, and my husband and I were disappointed in the hotel overall. December 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience! I stayed at the Sheraton for a conference and had an incredibly positive experience! The staff was wonderful. My room was ready for an early check-in, which I was especially grateful for after an adventurous trip into Chicago. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays! The only minor issue I had was that the water did not drain well in the shower. I left items behind in the hotel and the staff promptly found them and helped ship them back to me. Overall I had an incredibly positive experience and will definitely be back! December 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Unexpected Surprises! The location is conveniently walking distance from Navy Pier & Michigan Ave. I was satisfied with the Customer Service I received alongside how quiet and comfortable the room was. My only dissapointment was the cleanliness of the room.Although it was very organized some of the areas where filled with dust bunnies. The bathroom shelves where filled with dust, as where the towel racks. The bathroom floor & bathtub had "hairs" all over! December 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by December in Chicago Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Chicago has become our preferred choice of hotels in the SPG world when we come to the Windy City. From top to bottom, the staff makes you feel like you BELONG. December 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic location and staff The hotel had great views of the river and city. I loved the fact we were able to swim in the indoor pool as we were viewing the snow storm outside through the windows! Very accomodating staff and convenient shuttle to Macy's. Would stay here again. December 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Still paying for wifi?? Great experience, but why charge extra for wifi. I pay a little more to stay at Sheridan so it is a little off-putting when I have to shell out $15 for wifi, when less expensive competitors offer free in-room wifi. December 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Location Location Located in the center of Chicago you are close to the river front, shopping, parks and the many Lake Michigan attractions. Check in can take some time. when we arrived there Was only one person behind the counter. at 5;30 PM one of our 2 rooms Was not ready for check in but the staff quickly found another identical room for us to check in to. Over all amenities are great but the bathrooms in the guest rooms are small if more than one person is staying. Overall a good experience. December 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Location Havent stayed here in years. It was noisy with the doors next door slamming. Could hear the bathroom water running, shower, toilet etc. from next door and up above. Terrible! December 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Unreal....... To celebrate the end of my children's summer vacation, I reserved a large two bedroom suite at the Sheraton downtown Chicago. It was BEAUTIFUL! The view outside the window wasn't so great BUT the room itself was beyond words. There was so much space that it was as if we had rented an apartment! Everything was perfect..................until I checked out of the hotel and retrieved my vehicle. I spent over $1,800.00 on accommodations only to be charged an additional $100+ dollars for parking my car! I can NOT BELIEVE that The Sheraton management staff would go so far to nickel and dime someone who has spent so much money on a 2 night stay at the hotel. I was all smiles until this happened. Rated 5 out of 5 by The people are great Last year Renee took care of us in the Club Lounge and it was great to see him again this year. We had Herman take care of us for both breakfast and lunch during our stay and he was fantastic. I hope to see both of them again next December when I am back again. Thanks. December 10, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Updating This hotel needs updating. Our room was comfortable but old. The paint was peeling and the fixtures were outdated, One of the reasons we stayed here was because of the heated pool mentioned on the website-this pool is NOT heated. It is merely an indoor pool and this was a HUGE disappointment. December 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great staff Hotel staff were very friendly December 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decmeber 2013 I have been coming to this hotel almost every year for the past 10 years. All in all it is a good hotel for business trips. The rooms are showing their age, could use brighter lights, and a fresh coat of paint. The most annoying part is the $14 charge for the internet. I would be so much happier if they can add this to my hotel charges and be done with it. I hate nickel-and-diming. December 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel is getting tired We stayed her 2 years ago and had a better experience. The hotel needs a facelift. The room was large but in poor repair. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, chipped tiles. We became Platinum members during our stay and we had to beg for a King room. No upgrades available and Club access was not granted. December 7, 2013
