Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Place to Spend an Evening with Friends We asked for two hotel rooms on the same floor as we were traveling with friends. Upon arrival we were delighted to find we were provided with adjoining rooms with a suite between us. After walking to dinner nearby, we spent a comfortable evening visiting and enjoying the rooms amenities. As usual, the staff was friendly and eager to assist us. August 23, 2012

(2) PLUG FOR COFFEE MAKER, IN BASE OF LAMP HAD TO PUSH DOWN HARD TO GET PRONGS DEEP ENOUGH TO GET CONTACT, IT IS NOT THE COFFEE MAKER AS I HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY PHONE CHARGER. (3) CURTAINS WOULD NOT OPEN, WERE GETTING IN BAD SHAPE WHERE EVERYONE HAD BEEN HOLDING THEM OPEN SO THEY COULD SEE THE GREAT VIEW. October 22, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by internet and heating I selected this hotel because of the wifi. It did not work in my room. technical service could not fixed. It was not also working on my phone neither. Im ended working in the lobby. the heating hummed everytime you turned on. It waked me up everytime it kicked on. the TV satellite delayed about 3-4 minutes before the signal kicking in. Rated 5 out of 5 by pool and conference We could not use the pool for most of our stay, as it was serviced. Also, there was a conference during the last two days of our stay, and the huge group of people who attended made lots of noise, they were running and screaming down the corridors- day and night. Otherwise, fabulous location, comfort, lovely beds, great food. Loved the hotel! December 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wake up call I requested 7 AM wake up calls for the 3 mornings I was at the hotel. The first morning, the hotel called at 7. The second morning the hotel called at 7:30. On the third morning the hotel never called, and I would have missed my flight except that I was fortunate enough to wake up at the right time. For these prices I expect better service. Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is appealing. The Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers is very appealing to the eye upon entering. The floors are clean and shiny. When you enter your room, you are greeted with a pleasant clean smell. The beds look very inviting, bathroom is roomy. Everything is crispy clean. you can see extra care has been given to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. October 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good stay We arrived on Sunday- The hotel is within walking distance to the Pier. We got upgraded to the club level-great view from 31st floor. Our room unfortunately was VERY warm that first night and we heard ALOT of street noise. We called maintainence -got KATIE-she was awesome. Opened our window for us for about 6 hours. Turns out it was sooo noisy because the window wasn't all the way closed. Room cooled down a little bit. We did get a follow up call which was nice. The ice maker did not work on our floor so we had to go down a floor to get ice-not that big of a deal I guess. Club level food was great and worth the upgrade. Pool was freezing-I think they advertise HEATED-um no not HEATED at all. I would stay here again for sure-just little things that bothered me but were taken care of. When we checked out-it would be nice if front desk asked you if your stay was ok..."did you have an enjoyable time?" something like it-I'm big into customer service April 3, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor housekeeping As I was rushing to get ready for a meeting I realized there was no shampoo or conditioner in the room- delaying me about 15 minutes to get to where I needed to be. I found a dirty towel that was not mine under the bed that made me doubt the cleanliness of the entire room. As part of a conference, the catering staff was very accommodating. March 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by ACHA2012 The staff was great at the Sheraton for my conference. My room was clean and the view was nice; I felt very comfortable. The only areas I see for improvement are the roughness of the towels (they need to be softer), the hallways to the rooms are in need of some freshening up, and the food served in the hotel eateries is much too expensive. Rated 5 out of 5 Sheraton Chicago - Greatest Hotel and Staff in all of Illinois! The Sheraton staff continues to get better and better. Allison Watson is the greatest coordinator there is! Thank you for bringing her back. She made my job as an event planner very easy. The icing on the cake was working with the rest of the Sheraton team who assisted in pullinng off a very successful event with 750 attendees! GREAT JOB!! January 31, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel's meeting facilities are top notch The meeting rooms, meals and overal ambiance was great! The concierge was very helpful. My room though lacked cleanliness, the drawers and pullout were very dusty, the bathroom smelled musty and clearly had not been detail cleaned recently. My comforter had stains on it and dirt on the edges. I was also charged for a snack I did not eat. January 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Location, comfort, but needs improvement in value for money The Sherton commands an incredible location in central downtown Chicago - close to a Dominick's (Safeway) supermarket, banks, cafes, Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, and more, and is only a 15 minute walk from Clark/Lake stop on Blue Line ('L'-train). The rooms are clean and comfortable, and if you manage to get a room on the river side, the views are wonderful. Aside from location and essential comforts, however, the Sheraton is very expensive for what you get. Breakfast is not included, the main bar does not host a manager's special/happy hour, all of the on-site restaurants are extremely expensive, wifi costs a minimum of $13.95/night. A block from the Sheraton, in contrast there are options which offer a fantastic included breakfasts and a comped happy hours, and costs less per evening. This is a great venue for a conference because it is very large and attractive, but do not expect to leave without dropping a lot of money on each meal and luxury. April 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by SPG loyal, but... I am beginning to travel a lot for business and try to stay at SPG properties when possible. Generally I'm please, but not this time. The layout of this hotel for conference attendees is odd. It simply doesn't flow. And finding a decent meal or acceptable cup of coffee on-site? No. Room and bed was far below my other experience with SPG. June 11, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Most comfortable beds of any other hotel. I wish I knew what brand of mattress you use because I have never had such a perfect bed in any other Hotel chain I have visited. The room was great with a great view of the river and lake. The only concern I had was the room needed to be deep cleaned. The surfaces were clean but the walls, ceilings, nooks and crannies had lots of dust. August 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great stay Pleasant stay at the Sheraton. As a Platinum, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area and kitchen. Location of hotel is excellent. Valet parking a bit slow, just plan to call 15-30 minutes prior to arrange for your car. Will definitely stay here again. Shula's is a bit expensive, but well worth it. September 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful hotel We wanted to use our suite night upgrades, but since the hotel was sold out we could not redeem them. We had booked a traditional room using cash and points and we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a view of the city on one side and Lake Michigan on the other side. The staff was very attentive and our room was wonderfully unexpected. October 2, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Front desk friendliness All the staff were very friendly except for my dealings with the front desk. The person who checked me in did not smile. When my key became demagnetized, (I had stored in next to my cell phone), I was made to feel stupid when I went to get a new one. The only person who smiled at me was on check out. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Staff - Room was just okay The staff here are all very friendly and beyond helpful and the hotel location was excellenct! The room was just okay. The temperature in the room was unstable at best. The bathroom seemed like it had not been cleaned or not cleaned well before we checked in. On the upside, the bed was comfortable. However, as an SPG Gold member my wife and I always enjoyed the 2 20oz bottled water we've always received at other Sheraton's. I thought that the food vending and stocked fridge with overpriced itmes was unnecessary and should be eliminated from the amenities of this luxury room. July 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ascend Gala Dinner Service was disappointing I had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment during my stay with your hotel until we went to the gala dinner. The waitress was rude and impatient. Although we understand this is a quite large event to manage, a bit smile on the face and a responsive answer could make a huge difference. It was clear that the waitress was not happy to come to work to begin with. There was no smile from the beginning. When we simply asked for hot tea, she seemed distrubed by this request and it took 5-6 follow ups to make this happen. It was unbelievable how rude she was during this period, she would cut off you when you were trying to friendly remind her and eventually threw the tea pot to the table and left without even asking everyone who would like to have the tea. I was shocked and quite disappointed. I hope this is one instance off and Sheraton will be able to show that not only it can serve all guests well but also it can handle big events like this well. Rated 3 out of 5 by disappointed We booked 3 rooms in January for a stay in June..did not receive rooms on same floor as expected upon arrival. They moved us on day 2, an inconvenience for sure. Upon checkout 2 rooms had a credit balance which still has not shown on my credit card, but the 3rd room with a balance due has already been charged..i don't understand this. June 18, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by great views! This Sheraton is in a great location for several amenities in Chicago. Our room had an excellent view of the Chicago River and the city skyline. The staff are very courteous and helpful. June 30, 2014
