Rated 2 out of 5 by this hotel needs some improvements My room on the club level was old and dated. The ceilings are peeling, the bathrooms are old. I never had enough towels and had to ask for additonal towels each day. I found the maid cleaning my room even though i had a "DoNOt Disturb sign on the door while i was working out. August 9, 2012

Nelson, at the front desk, did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome and the room he assigned to us couldn't have been better. Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful location The room and facilites were tidy, the room carpet was quite stained and stretched out looking a little past it's prime. The furniture was a little beat up as well. I expect it was due to be replaced soon. The bedding was new and well taken care of and that is most important. February 4, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel lacks in maintainence The heat in the room was not working. Repair took 2 hours including sourcing wiring for the A/C unit. Additionally, the hair dryer was not working and the sink was clogging. I have been staying here for over a year now and the maintenance of the hotel is lacking. October 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Watch your bill. We had already paid for our stay before arrival. However, while there, the hotel charged our bank account again. After our travel agent called them, they credited our account - but because we had used our bank card, almost $1,000 was tied up for over 4 days. Not impressive. September 26, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Little value for my money 1) Good location 2) average infrastructure for a hotel of that category 3) housekeeping is terrible, I even felt short on shampoo 4) staff is not polite, and not very helpful. Lots of empty smiles and empty "I'm sorry", but no real solution for any of the issues I needed August 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by great for business the only thing lacking was a safe large enough for my laptop. Otherwise a great business hotel. Really appreciate the outlet right by the bed so I can charge my phone. Well stocked minibar is always a plus. Close to attractions. Take a boat tour while you are there. September 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by BCBS Conference This hotel is very centralized to my needs close to the Navy Pier, shopping on the Magnificent Mile, Parks and businesses. It is within walking distance to any of these venues. The staff are very friendly and polite. I felt very safe in this hotel and the views are great. June 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by All the amenities This was a very nice hotel. Staff was quite pleasant and helpful during our stay. They helped arrange trips, gave us directions and suggested local attractions. A complete hotel offering all the services a guest would want or could expect. Would not hesitate to recommend. July 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Aiyetoro "Torre" really made us feel welcome! We went to Chicago in July 2013 to celebrate our daughter's birthday. While checking in, our daughter mentioned to Torre,the hotel receptionist, that it was her birthday. Torre immediately went above and beyond in making our daughter and family feel special. Thank you! Rated 4 out of 5 by Still paying for wifi?? Great experience, but why charge extra for wifi. I pay a little more to stay at Sheridan so it is a little off-putting when I have to shell out $15 for wifi, when less expensive competitors offer free in-room wifi. December 16, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxury Vacation not so far from home. We experienced a fantastic stay in Chicago for Spring Break. Thanks in large part to the wonderful amenities afforded us at the Sheraton. It is in a perfect location allowing us to see and do the city as we saw fit. Only steps away. Thank you to Rick for a great stay. April 30, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect Downtown Chicago Location The Sheraton Hotel is a very good convention or meeting hotel. It can accommodate large groups with ease. The common areas of the facility are very nice and appear to be recently renovated. The rooms are very traditional as this appears to be an older hotel. October 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Little Things Bellman upon arrival was great as was guy at front desk. Room was clean and nice. Ok fitness center. Only issue I had was when my room was not cleaned and I called to have clean towels brought to my room and after an hour they still were not delivered. Expected more. October 28, 2012

AARP Rate was EXCELLENT Check in SMOOTH AND HELPFUL and early ...very well done...front desk helped me with starwood preferred guest number... organized a late check out for my last (5th) day in the hotel....THEN....... first two days....room service dishes never removed from the hallways until I mentioned it ....they did offer me some points on my account but I just wanted to let them know there cleaning system was not working ... I had two packages sent and tracking said they had arrived.... had to go back and forth 3-4 times between front desk and Fed Ex office to find where they were....always found but with lots of effort and always found where someone said "no there is no package for you ' ....then check out day and I went down to confirm I had the 4pm check out indicated at check in and the front desk agent said no... ??? Different stories from different staff it seemed like each day ...... Very disappointed...would not stay here again and really question staying in sheraton again ??? August 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Did not meet expectations Wi-Fi is not free, c'mon SPG move into the 21st Century.Plus was told it was at check-in only to find out it wasn't. The signal was bad anyway. Hotel was "ok" staff was not friendly but adequate. Would be nice if they tried to be the place you wanted to stay. September 23, 2013

With the Club Level closed, the hotel could have used more servers at the Java Bar on Friday, 12/13/12, as it was not possible to use our vouchers given to us due to the Club Room not being open. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Stay Overall the stay met expectations. Although the bathroom was smaller than expected, the central location and staff friendliness made up for it. The breakfast pricey in comparisson with other hotels. Next time I will procure a venture outside the hotel for breakfast. September 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing check-in Room assigned with keys at front desk was still occupied. Took over 45 minutes to reassign another room. Was late for a wedding due to delay. New keys assigned to new room did not work. Expectations not met at check-in and caused disappointment for remainder of stay October 3, 2012

Phenomenal service from every staff member right from the beginning and though the end. My room also was very lovely. Not to mention a great location. I can't recommend it enough! June 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very disappointing stay My room was never cleaned in the 4 nights I was there for the Anerican Society of Breast Surgeons conference in May 2013. I had to call for new towels. My sheets had several tears in them. I was very disappointed in this hotel & will never plan to stay there again May 5, 2013

The location is perfect for us, we always receive excellent service and the views are phenomenal!! If you are coming to Chicago you will enhance your visit by staying at the Sheraton! March 2, 2013

The location is excellent, the staff was great, the views were amazing, and the Club Lounge was incredible (and never crowded)! We've stayed at lots of nice hotels in the Chicago area and this is one of our top choices for sure. September 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton Chicago The stay at the Sheraton was very nice. The only complaint i have is upon arrival at the hotel the receptionist was not very inviting nor friendly. The conicerge was very inviting and more then friendly. He really made us feel welcome. Overall i would stay again. June 7, 2012

Dining options are sparse and staff members were not helpful - front desk lost a package for 2 days and operator told me to "call back" when room service wasn't answering. . October 24, 2013

The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was perfect, the restaurant was beautiful and great food. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back when in Chicago.
