Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Service While it's a nice location, the hotel seems understaffed. Asked for a cot to be brought to our room three times. I gave up after midnight, so the kids slept in the bed with us. Room service food was so bad, the 5 and 7 year old wouldn't eat the pancakes. How do you cook that badly? Despite calling down 30 hour for the car, still needed to wait 20 minutes more to get the car since the valet mis-labled where it was parked. August 21, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME! I was with 2 employees for the Allscripts ACE conference. Much like Denver the hotel was OVER THE TOP and I truly felt like the entire staff were happy we were guests. I saw an employee empty a super-full trash can in the Starbuck's and it was obvious that they are an independent vendor. And she was training a new hire as well! The only "issue" I have is with the gift shops which are independently owned and they are less than stellar, certainly not the experience I had with other staff. The lamp shade was on the dresser because it was broken and the shower faucet was VERY hard to pull on, and loose from the wall. Otherwise perfect experience! August 20, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Worst Valet Service I've Seen There never seemed to be enough valet staff to park cars or bring the car in a timely manner. There was always a crowd in the waiting area for the cars and at times it was as if the staff had never done this before. There was times I parked on the street and paid twice for the parking just to avoid dealing with the hotel valet.For $51/night and at a Starwood property I expect a lot more. August 20, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Average I booked online with a specific rate and was charged a rate $40 higher at checkout. It was adjusted, but no apologies. I made the "green choice" and did not get housekeeping for 500 spg points. I asked two people to make sure they were posted, but did not get them. I was not recognized as a "Gold" SPG member. Rooms are average and a bit small. Shula's is expensive and the other restaurants are not open for dinner. View from room window and lobby were the best parts of my stay, but no one went out of their way to make this stay memorable. August 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by THE HOTEL HAS GREAT FEATUES These was my second stay at the hotel. First the room was bigger then my first stay and I was so delighted. Second I had a great view to my left I had the lake and to my right was the river ,how cool is that. In my stay I was issued coupons for the bistro brunch and food and service was good. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Hotel Stay We stayed here for a family leisure trip. The location is great as we were able to either take the bus, train or walk to the Navy Pier, Wrigley, Museum destinations. We had a great view of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. The valets and bell hops were very welcoming. Cynthia at the Front Desk was very knowledgable and friendly. The housekeeping staff did a great job providing a clean room. The Club Level rooms are a must. The breakfast and service at the LB restaurant was outstanding. August 16, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Service at LB Bistro and Patisserie I recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Chicago and would like to say that the service at LB Bistro and Patisserie was great. I would like to especially thank Tamding, Alex, and Sharaya at the LB Bistro and Pastisserie. In addition, the quality and food selection at the buffet was great. I stress the quality and the food selection as it was not just an ordinary breakfast buffet. Housekeeping also did a great job with cleaning my room. The only negative experience I had at the hotel was the fact that it took forever for guest services to answer their phone when I called at around 5 a.m. in the morning since I had an issue with the internet connection. No matter what time of day, guest services should still answer their phone when a guest is calling especially given the various time zones that a guest could potentially be from or working under. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location Close to the navy pier yet walking distance of the mag mile too. Concierge desk was wondeful--Paula was a great help. THey also have a shuttle to the Horseshoe casino in Hammond, IN. From our window we could see the various tour boats ride by. Yet this hotel is quiet and not noisy at all. The room was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was also very well equipped. I would highly recommend the Chicago Sheraton Hotel and Towers. I am defintiely coming back to stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Chicago. August 15, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Could have been so much better Hotel could have been so much better. Great location, beautiful lobby, clean room with a great view but the staff just doesn't get it. I waited longer in the Starwood line at reception than non-members. The desk clerk and valet were surly. At $50/night for parking can I please have a smile? Room service good and the staff woman in the Club was very nice! But I asked for help with an internet connection and the hotel operator was surly. Fortunately, tech guy was great. Rated 5 out of 5 by 5-Star Service with the Sheraton Chicago If you are planning a visit to Chicago, you need to consider staying at this hotel. You would be hard-pressed to find a better one with excellent service in all areas. The staff are so personable and make you feel as if they are there for just you. If you need anything, they respond to your request immediately. It is located close to Navy Pier and Michigan Avenue (the Magnificent Mile) which afford you the opportunity to be within short reach of many sights and restaurants famous in the City. The Club Level is definitely worth the upgrade. You will not be disappointed. One of the staff there, Connie, remembered my husband and I from our last stay 5 months ago! The Sheraton's General Manager, Rick, sets high standards which his employees attain with ease. I love this hotel! August 10, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by this hotel needs some improvements My room on the club level was old and dated. The ceilings are peeling, the bathrooms are old. I never had enough towels and had to ask for additonal towels each day. I found the maid cleaning my room even though i had a "DoNOt Disturb sign on the door while i was working out. August 9, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very Disappointing- Dropped the ball this time I've stayed in this very same hotel before at the same time of the year and had a good experience, however, this time i had a very poor experience. I come to Chicago annually for the Lollapalooza music festival. this year, I stayed at the Sheraton for the second time, the room was great, however, the service was terrible. I requested bath gel as I always do and didn't receive until my last night there. I spent a lot of time trying to reach guest services while the phone just rang and rang, the operator even stayed on the line with me. Also, the towels weren't changed when the room was cleaned. A request for bottled water took forever. I don't think i'll be coming back next year as its evident that the Sheraton couldn't manage the volumes of guest due to the concert and soccer game that weekend. August 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Location!! Despite I found this hotel on Expedia for much cheaper per night, Sheraton matched the price and gave me the same price. Hotel was beautiful inside, lobby and there's a Stabucks!! YAY!! The parking fee was outrageous ($38 daily for park and leave/self pay) but really there is no need for a car. Everywhere is too expensive to park and you can pretty much walk anywhere downtown. Plus taxi drivers are nuts there :) We had a wonderful stay and will be back to this hotel again, best location!!!!
