I spend many days and nights far from home each year, alone, while this time I was with my family.
It has been very nice to get a good upgrade (thanks, Platinum) also for the 2nd room
Wonderful view, nice suite, nice staff make everything easy

Huge suite - great features. But getting anything done was just a huge hassle. Slow service in restaurants, maintenance staff were rough, attitude from front desk, etc. .

As always, the staff was very helpful and accomodating.
I requested a late check out prior to check in and was confirmed before arrival.
The ladies on the Club Floor are always efficient and friendly making you feel welcome on every stay.

A good choice of hotel for family trip. My daughter aged 5 like the swimming pool most and had a good with her dad. I love the prefect buffet breakfast with plenty of food choices. Room is neat. Most of the staff spoke very good English.

From the front desk to your room to the stay and final check out the hotel serves up all the luxury you need for a pleasant stay.
Staff are totally absorbed in pleasing you and making everything smooth and comfortable during your stay.

I choose to stay at the Sheraton Pudong because it feels like my home away from home. I will spend 100 days in Shanghai this year and there is no other place I would rather stay for value for money, comfort, service and food.

I've been coming to this hotel for several years. If I have business in the area or plan to go to the airport I tend to stay here. The staff is great and the rooms are nice.

Overall a great hotel with amazing star. Management needs to sort themselves out with the WiFi situation - basically NONE in the rooms! Quite embarrassing for a hotel of this calibre.
How about some new TV's in the rooms!!

If you make an agreement, e.g. for rate of your stay, my experience is, that you do not get any bad surprise, when you get the bill.
Promise is kept. (Unfortunately the opposite was an experience at a competitive hotel).

Hi, I'm writing this to share my dis satisfaction, I'm suppose to stay here for 12 nights for my business trip, and I just check-in today and I'm going to check-out tomorrow, as I don't think the price I pay met the 5-Star Hotel standards.
First, I have pay additional amount to upgrade my room to Premier Suite, and I'm so disappointed with the room I have when I entered.
Second, the Sofa in my room the cushion is worn and tear out, and it is so dirty and i can see the stain on. I can't believe that i see it on my own eyes in the 5-star hotel.
Third, the bathroom is so dirty, especially the shower room, I can see the crack lines and dark spot all over the floor.
Fourth, The Iron is spoilt and not malfunction, and I don't understand how's your house keeping do the works and checking, how can you put a malfunction Iron in the room, again you are calling yourself 5-star hotel
Among all the points I mentioned above, I have all the pictures taken down in my handphone and I'm going to publish it out...
So disappointed, really disappointed with the Price I pay here...

The Sheraton Shanghai Hotel Pudong was probably the best hotel I have stayed in globally. I travel a lot for business and have stayed at many hotel chains. This was my first stay at a SPG chain and I loved it.

Nice, large rooms (executive floor) on the positive side, but location is a bit off and the overall experience was nice, but not more than average (although the average of Starwood hotels is of course not bad...)

It happened again... The Hotel missed report my stays to SPG account again. I don't know what to say, since I even reminded them when I checkout... May choose another hotel to void such inconvenience next time.

Hotel was adequate; however, staff on checkin offered zero SPG recognition: no upgrade, no amenity, nada, even when called to their attention. Room was ok, but oddly laid out, and a bit difficult to navigate.

I stay at this hotel 2 to 3 nights per month usually for one night at a time. It is my jump off point to the next location.
the Club floor staff is one of the best of the many hotels I frequent in Asia.

Sheraton Shanghai Pudong is one of the best SPG properties I have stayed at for a long time. Although typical SPG quality and ammenities, the suite was beautiful, well layed out and very comfortable.

I stayed here for the first time recently and had a great few days. The room was awesome, (I had the corner suite), and the lounge staff were amazingly helpful. I would recommend this hotel totally!

This seems like it is a good hotel with nice rooms, good amenities, friendly staff and all but I had a bad experience. I had requested a non-smoking room but was put in a smoking room without my knowledge. My eyes were red and watery and my allergies were acting up for 2 days before I realized that they put me in a smoking room. I immediately asked to be switched to a non-smoking room. They said that someone would be over in 10 minutes to show me to my new room so I packed hastily but they didn't come for another 45 or so minutes and I had to call 3 times. Also, no wireless internet in the rooms is just not acceptable nowadays. My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so I had to borrow a wireless adapter from the hotel after repeatedly asking and being told to just go down to the hotel for WiFi which is not ideal as I was on a business trip for a week. Also, the toilet didn't seem properly cleaned as there were some yellow streaks on it (it was disgusting). Lastly, noise level is a bit high since you are by main street. Overall, seems like a decent hotel but I just had a bad experience.

I only stayed in the Hotel one night but the speed and efficency of the staff from the desk to the resturant was 1st rate, I wish I had stayed longer to experience all of their amenities.

An excellent hotel with a very caring staff. The rooms are very clean and very well decorated. The food at the Executive Lounge had wide range with excellent Menu. In total- a great experience.
