Rated 3 out of 5 by What is Club Lounge here?? I stay now at the club floor of Sheraton San Diego at Symphony Hall. I always look forward to visiting a club lounge of SPG hotels. But, here, I find only two canapé, some salad and water and pepsi cola in happy hours 5pm-7pm. No alcohol. I am disappointed. In addition, security box is not available in my room. May 19, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel has shabby equipment, huffy waiters and very bad breakfast The equipment is generally obsolent, room had bad smell, old noisy minibar fridge is locked /but running?/ in old kitchen unit, rooms are not very clean. The breakfast was the worst I saw in the last time, waiters glared at us like enemies. The barman refused give us beer 15 min before closing. May 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by It's time to update I'm just going to get straight to the point. The rooms need to be remodeled. The carpets are stained, the beds are uncomfortable, the wood on the drawers was warped, my mini frig was sitting on the floor next to the t.v. instead of in it's compartment, the drain in the shower smelled like sewage and there was an unbelievable stench in the front of the elevators on the 21st floor. If I find another hotel with 2 room suites, I'm switching. May 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good hotel but bad bed One of the reasons I choose SPG hotels is for their heavenly beds. Unfortunately, the bed in this hotel was broken. When brought to the attention of the hotel manager, nothing was done. Very disappointing. May 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Unusually unfriendly As a Starwood member, I am entitled to a free drink, internet, or points back at check in. For my room (two night stay), why is it I can have internet both days, but the desk manager Ashley would not approve a complimentary cocktail for the second day. Do I need to check in, check out, and back in to get a second cocktail? Poor treatment of an SPG guest. And their self parking is ridiculous, not easily accessible. April 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs upgrade This Sheraton hotel offers a clean room but the physical plant needs significant refurbishment. Although the room is clean, wall paper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. The furniture and the appliances and TV look like they came from a 1980's rental company. May 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice location poor front desk service Just spent 5 nights at this hotel. All was good until I checked out. Be forewarned, if you choose "Green Cleaning" you must keep your vouchers and turn them into the front desk upon checkout (according to the non empathetic front desk woman). I travel to San Diego often and I also stay at Starwood hotels and opt for Green Cleaning often. I have NEVER ever had to turn in my unused coupons. I was always credited my points. Anyways I had been throwing these coupons away in the trash can since nothing on the coupon said you needed to submit it upon check out to get the points. The front desk woman told me I had to go back up to my room and pull all of my coupons back out of the garbage can and come back with them or else I wouldn't get my points. She was rude about it and I explained to her that I would need to empty the garbage can out and sort through a week of trash to find them. I was also running late and needed to get to a meeting. She said no coupons no points. So I literally ran back to my empty room and threw the garbage on the floor and sorted through nasty trash to find these coupons. I will never stay here again and this isn't how you treat a Platinum member spending over $1000 a week at your hotel. I don't think I'm going to stay at this place again. April 21, 2013
