Where do I start? At the checkin desk when the inept attendant acted like we were taking her valuable time from something else?
When the room key didn't work?
When the light was out on the desk lamp?
When the charge for the internet was an appalling E15?
When the hair dryer was inconveniently located in the desk and permanently plugged in so that you could not use it in the bathroom?
When we were upgraded to club level and then told we could use the club for E 50 per day?

I was forced to stay over near Heathrow because of the fog. I was tired and stressed. The stay at the Sheraton Skyline was more than satisfactory. The Sports Bar was fine for a casual dinner, and access to the lounge on the 3rd floor--particularly for breakfast--was great. Free Internet access for an SPG traveler was very much appreciated.

The attendant at the check-in was not very communicative. There was no choice of free WiFi or other amenities offered due to my SPG Gold Status. The power outlet switch for TV was turned off. A false charge of alcohol consumption from minibar showed up. I checked and there was actually a bottle missing from the refrigerator. It must have been taken before I checked in.

John and Alyssa are the two of the best front desk staff that I have experienced in any Starwood line of hotels.
Each of them gave the very best in first impressions as front desk professionals. Both showed genuine care and were very meticulous in informing me of what was to be expected before, during, and after my stay!
It made my stay that much worry free and enjoyable!

I have stayed at this hotel many times over ten years. The management and staff are very warm and friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. In this day and age, this is very good news. I like doing business with people that I like

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jimmy A good value hotel near London Heathrow Airport
If you are transiting or staying in London on a tight budget, this is a good choice.
The overall room is clean and comfortable, but relatively small.
The lighting in the room is normally dim, due to the fact that half of thr rooms are facing inside atrium (so you have to close the curtains if you don't want to showcase your underwears in front of dinning crowd) and the other half of the rooms are facing windows of the offices in the next building (same reason you need to draw your curtains).
The Club Lounge is small, and can get extremely cozy during the busiest business days.

If you need a convenient place and nearby Heathrow, this is a great hotel for your choice, Friendly staff and nice/quiet room.
