This was my second time to this establishment this year and the accomodations for conferences are amazing.

My family and I have stayed at this Sheraton for the last 5-6 New Years Eves with great anticipation but we have noticed the quality of the hotel deteriorate during that time.
We stay on a Club floor with the Club Lounge access. This year in particular we found the hallways and room looking tired and dark and in need of a makeover. We also found the bed to be not as comfortable as in the past, which was surprising as this is one of the "features" that you highlight. Also, why are there no fitted bottom sheets anymore? There's nothing worse then trying to sleep and the bottom sheet bunches up.
The quality of the Club Lounge apps and continental breakfast was also sub-par this year.
We order room service everytime we come and there were items missing and ice cream that was completely melted. We did not call room service about it as you never know if something would happen to your order at that point - not taking a chance.
Anyway, I do not usually write these reviews but we were really disappointed with the little things this year and loved our experience in the past - but we'll probably be looking for a new place to celebrate New Years for 2014.

I stay at the hotel frequently and the staff is always welcoming and accommodative; especially on the Club Level.

I had a couple of issues upon checking in but the staff solved them very quickly.
Great hotel for conventions.

I came to the hotel tired and wanted to get some rest...the room was extremely dry and made sleeping impossible!

This is a beautiful hotel steps away from the Eaton Centre and all the attractions of downtown Toronto.

We had some issues checking in but Marilyn at the front desk was very helpful. View from the room was great!!

Rated 4 out of 5 Hotel was nice but parking is expensive, no internet and no breakfast and no phone not even local calls.
Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. It was clean. The only concern was anything extra will cost you.

Good hotel but front desk needs training. Long lines and lack of full understanding of SPG amenities exist.

Had booked a King room for our wedding anniversary (Jan 14th). Upon checking into the room found that "every" wooden surface was scratched/checked and on the telephone table someone's initials had been carved into the top. After taking a strol about the downtown core returned to the room to find water leaking from the ceiling. The corner chair, wall, carpet and electrical plugs were saturated. Drywall was falling from the ceiling due to the leak. The front desk was contacted and advised that a porter would attend with keys to another room. After waiting 15 - 20 minutes again contacted the front desk as we had a dinner reservation within the half hour. A porter did subsequently attend passing me the keys at the door advising if I didn't like the replacement room to again contact the front desk. There was no offer to assist with luggage nor check the substitute room. He sauntered off down the hall, thanks. Upon checking the substitute room I found it to be a double Queen, how romantic for my anniversary. I did not again contact the front desk as noted prior we had dinner reservations. Do I feel like a preferred quest, I think not. The rooms I refer to are #1089 and #1079, with pictures to verify if you must.

The hotel was close to public transit, shopping, food, and entertainment. The staff was also pleasant.

There was no heat in the room but a heater was provided.
