The Sheraton Lisbon is a well maintained hotel with attentive staff and good facilities.
Rooms are good size and they offer beautiful views of the city. Bathrooms are spectacular, very large and well appointed.
The restaurant and bar located on the 25th floor offer some of the best views of Lisbon.
It is located only 50 metres from the Picoas metro (subway) station which offers quick access to the airport (25 minutes), main train & bus terminal Oriente (20 minutes) and the main attractions (10 minutes). Libon has an excellent metro system.

I give this hotel a big Wow.
#1 reason is Vanda, the SPG Customer Relations Manager, who went out of her way tp make our two stays at this hotel last week so special in ways and to a degree I have NEVER experienced (which is saying a lot for a 10+ year Platinum member). So, big WOW back to Vanda and the team.
#2 applause goes to the physical hotel, at least the Club Floor rooms, excluding the club lounge itself, which I will address later. The renovations are very distinctive and the rooms are pretty cool, once you learn how everything works -- and yes, you can electronically lower the shade to block the direct view into the bathroom. There is, however, a big difference between the two views, with the Club Lounge (westerly?) view over the park and historic parts of the city vs the other view over not much of anything special, although far and wide.
#3 is the location...just close enough to be very central...sure, it might be fun to be a mile closer to the Bario Alto or the water...but this hotel is overlooking the main park and just across from the Ritz/Four Seasons, with sweeping views of the Golden Gate-like bridge (actual copy) and Lisbon's iconic Statue of the Redeemer, and taxis are plentiful and inexpensive (about 5 euros to go most places).
#4 is the pool spa area which is nice and I like the fact that they charge for entry so it stays relatively quiet.
On the negative side is the Club Lounge, which is one of the poorer international SPG lounges, IMO, and it doesn't have to be. To begin with it is too small if the hotel/club is at capacity -- OK, not much they can do about that without taking out another room. But basically, the food and drink selection is very poor: just cheap red wine, white wine, and beer for alcohol...not even inexpensive Portuguese sparkling wine, and certainly no hard alcohol. Not even any port --- which they used to serve in this lounge years ago, and which is a symbol of Portugal. Not good. Then the food options, whether for breakfast or in the evening are limited and not particularly good. Again, they used to make omelettes and things in the lounge for breakfast -- no more, now you have to go down to the main restaurant if you want a real breakfast. Lastly, they won't let you take food or drink from the lounge to your room -- not even soda for overnight. You should be able to take some wine or a soda to your room...that's chincy/cheap and leaves a bad taste.
As an aside, the proximity of the airport is amazing...10 mins or less...we took a private car which we purchased at the information desk in the arrivals concourse for EUR 25 to go the hotel in order to skip the exceptionally long queue for the public taxis, but the taxi on way back my taxi was was EUR 8.25, including a 1.60 charge for the luggage (by comparison, the hotel car is EUR 45).
Then, when you put all this in context with the rate/cost/value -- it's a wow package.

I travel quite frequently and found the service very hospitable. I would particularly like to commend the staff on the excellent service. Of special mention - Maria Ana Cabral whose ever smiling and pleasant disposition started off the day perfectly - at breakfast at the Lobby Bistro. Also, Sr. Simoes and Sr. Armando, the ever-helpful concierges, helped plan our itinerary most productively. The staff at the Panorama Restaurant too were very pleasant. The location is so convenient and just a short taxi ride to Rossio. I look forward to staying at your hotel on my next trip to Portugal.

PAULO HENRIQUE AT THE RECEPTION DESK SAVED MY STAY FROM BEING A 3 STAR AT BEST. HE GOT ME A REFRIGERATOR THAT I COULD USE, EXPLAINED HOW TO USE THE HVAC SYSTEM TO KEEP THE ROOM AT A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE, AND EVEN GOT ME A SPEAKERPHONE.
WATCH OUT FOR OVERPRICED PHONE CALLS, HOWEVER!

Very nice hotel, but after visiting the Sheraton in Porto, this hotel is just not as good. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful city. I would stay there again.

We recently visited Lisbon and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was convenient to the metro and bus lines. My only complaint is that the hotel food was very expensive and when asked where in the walking area we could get lunch or dinner they told us that there weren't any restaurants around. Very much not the case we went walking in a 3 block radius and came across many restaurants an fabulous grocery store with an eating area that was packed with locals on there lunch break. There is also a mall across the street that has a food court if you like that kind of food.
