This is a pretty good 3.5* hotel. My Platinum status was recognized, where I was upgraded to a King size, newly refurbished room. The room was spacious, the bed, pillow smelled fresh, and was very comfortable. Wifi worked fine, but, the most convenient feature, is that the USB plugs are built-in, which allowed charging of mobile phone, and ipad very convenient. I did not find this feature at the other higher end hotels. This is a smart feature this renovation offered. The renovated bathroom had only the shower, but, there must've been water softener installed, because you get the silky smooth water flow on the skin.
The breakfast are good, with many choices of hot and cold selections. Overall, this hotel due to its age, had limitations, but, the renovation was well done, the rooms are quite comfortable.
The 351 bus is across the street down the road from Mc Donald's. It is FREE, and takes guests to T5 in about 5 minutes,

I stayed here for 10 days for a business trip. This hotel is very nice. My room was newly renovated, very clean and nicely decorated. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet my room was with the hotel being so close to Heathrow airport (I was never woken by airplane noise).
The restaurant and bar were wonderful! Very friendly staff and great variety of food. I did however have some issues with room service. There was one mix-up when I asked for capers and I got kippers instead but, they did fix my bill right away. The other issue was that my door-hanger breakfast order was not picked up and therefore not delivered on the last morning of my stay. I had it on the door well before the 2am cut-off but, unfortunately, they questioned whether that was true. (not good) It was also somewhat frustrating to reach Room Service by phone as the calls were almost always answered by the Front Desk. These were relatively small issues and certainly did not ruin my stay.
I would recommend this hotel, and would stay again.

A good hotel for a quick trip from the airport. Renovations are underway and the hotel common areas are good, but the rooms are still in progress. Even though we requested and hoped for a renovated Club room, we weren't offered one on Check-in. Club benefits were as expected and the Full Buffet Brekky was good

I've stayed at this hotel about 20 times and it has proven to be one of my favorites in the Starwood family. I just checked in and was given a newly refurbished room. The room couldn't be nicer. The beds, pillows, and linens are outstanding. The staff is welcoming and Platinum perks are very generous. The club level evening food and beverage service is wonderful with an amazing variation of appetizers along with complimentary beverages including wine. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and you can also order egg dishes off the menu. The new gym is perfect as well. I love coming to this hotel when traveling in and out of HEATHROW. It's too bad that it isn't closer to Central London.

The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me despite my early arrival. The manger sent some fruit and wine, which at the end of the day was an unsolicited but much appreciated gesture. My only hope is that the gym have some more free-weights, but it has a good cardio set.

No SPG recognition! My room was run down. The air conditioner didn't work. Smelt moldy. Dirty!

Unless you are just looking for the cheapest night you can find, don't bother. They call a room that has been painted an upgrade. The club lounge is a room in the restaurant lobby. Staff doesn't care. Pretty sure this should have been a budget in.

Came very early to freshen up the hotel has always been very accommodating. I also received a newly renovated room very nice. I always stay here great valve and service has always been tops.
