I arrive at the hotel early in the morning. I was told there is no rooms available but if I pay half of the rate they will provide a room. That is the policy in this hotel, taking advantage of the traveler. Answer NO, i will wait until the afternoon. They didnt greet my Platinium Status, I have to ask for my gift. At night I asked a Club Sandwich, they didn't have bacon. This is the Sheraton USD200 and up hotel and they didnt have bacon!!! i complain, they got 15 minute later. I was very disapinted with this hotel.

I have stayed twice now at this hotel and even through the renovations, it has not disappointed. its a great hotel for business travel; the gym facilities are good (though a little cramped), the pool is wonderful, there is ample space to work and its a great commute to the airport and not far from superb restaurants and downtown for meetings.

The hotel is under renovation, which I think it's good. The problem is that at every place you are on the Hotel the noise is extremely disturbing. The elevators are dirt as well as the carpets. You see workers on every floor doing maintenance. If the Hotel is under complete renovation is better to close it. I think putting announces on every corner is not enough. Don't sacrifice quality of your clients for keeping making money. You are not even offering discounts during this maintenance work. Very bad experience this time I was here.

Stayed here after a cruise and it was a great way to finish our vacation. Good location and great view from the bar on the 21st floor

Overall, I was disappointed with the rooms decor and the fact that it felt very old and unclean. I want to make it clear that the room was indeed clean but because how old it looked, seemed like it was unclean!
Also, the food in the facility, both at the San Cristobal and the Sheraton, needs improvement.
Additionally, I am disappointed with the technology in the rooms. The internet connection is poor and the TV sets are too old. I want to be able to see a menu guide in the TV to select channels. The internet was very poor compared to other Hotels I have staid at in Santiago.

you can tell the hotel is 40 years, and I am glad they are now starting with major renovations the age really shows. Ask for a room facing the back not the front gets too noisy, great pool, excellent breakfast buffet.

The staff at the Sheraton Santiago always bend over backwards to be helpful. I have stayed here over 50 nights and found it a great refuge after a hard days at work. Everything you could need is on site, great dinning, a choice of pools and exercise facilities. Plenty of room to move around and even take a stroll around the gardens.
