Not befitting a Sheraton managed hotel

Sheraton Wenzhou has been my first choice of hotels in Wenzhou since its opening. During the Spring Festival of 2014, my stay at this hotel was wonderful. All of the hotel staff we met were courteous and helpful. A few hours before I checked in, I got a call from the hotel confirming that the crib we asked for was ready, and offered us a free upgrade to a suite since it would be my 20th stay with the hotel. Check-in was quick and painless even it is busiest season in China. Room is clean, new and well maintained, and there was a plate of seasonal fruits on the table as a welcoming gift. All of the service items we ask for are free of charge: internet, parking and crib. Executive Lounge is excellent, great food, quick service and comfortable sourouding. Everything was wonderful and I would definitely come back again.

The hotel was beautiful and had wonderful perks! The breakfast and the happy hour was great. The staff was very attentive and and the room was perfect.
Eduardo (in the Italian restaurant on the 25th floor) was friendly and a pleasure to visit with.
The only complaint we had was that our room was very warm which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Even though we turned off the heat and opened the window, it was still very hot.

I travel throughout China every week and I am always very happy to find an SPG property at my destination. This was my 3rd time this year at Sheraton Wenzhou and my experience has been very good each time. From the very friendly check-in staff to the comfort of the room. the Sheraton Lounge on the 21st floor always has very good food at the cocktail hour and the ambiance is very nice. this time I even managed to fit in a massage at the Shine Spa and it was very relaxing. Good location and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend it.

Front desk staff need to improve on handling customers and SPG elite members. I was repeated asked for ID when check-in including my guest which I have helped book a room as well. When I asked for the front desk manager (Casey), she told me she cannot do much as it's hotel policy.....??
This rather embarrassing for me as I never encounter such problem with other SPG hotels. All we want is a comfortable and hassle free check-in after a long flight.

The hotel is relatively new, and is a standard Sheraton hotel. Details still need to be improved.
There are a total of four elevators, but where an elevator is unable to recognize the room key.
The hotel offers complimentary shoeshine service.However, when I put the shoes in the closet, waiter did not notice it when they clean your room. I had to call the Guest relation Center again to ask for shoeshine service.
When I ask club lounge staff to helps add second guest name for my room, they told me to go down to hotel lobby and ask front desk staff to do it.

This is actually my third stay in the hotel. I must say the service at the front desk was very efficient (but some staff need to brush up their English tough). Checking in and out was fast from all 3 stays.
Rooms are well-appointed and as usual the bed is very comfortable, keeping in line with the chain's Sweet Sleeper Bed tagline.
Breakfast has a good spread overall which makes me wonder how will the dinner buffet fare as I usually will not be back to the hotel until after dinner every time I visited the city.
