We were on the way back from Lima to UAE and decided to have a one night stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the service is excellent! Special thanks to Ms. Hollander from Front Office for her assistance! Very much appreciated!

Internet wasn't workin. Your front desk staff did not tell me at check in. Your front desk staff were more concerned about explaining away the problem than helping me. They misled me with wrong information. I could not complete my business, I could not sleep well, front desk staff and manager were uncaring. Check out line is always a 15-20 minute delay. Why not put experienced staff and more people to work the crucial early check out period? You promised to fix it!

My husband and I have travelled for one month in Italy and Greece before coming to Amsterdam. Throughout our trip, we received unlimited free in room wifi access in all the hotels that we stayed. We are very surprised to hear that Sheraton Amsterdam only offers 30 mins in-room free wifi per stay (and it will cost $19 if you need more time). Even though we could get free wifi in the lobby area, it's not as convenient as in room access. We were surprised a big hotel such as Sheraton is not offering the same level of internet access as other smaller hotels in Italy and Greece.
Being close to the airport and train station, the location of the hotel is great.

In terms of overall quality, comfort, convenience for airport access and professional staff, this hotel is excellent! Also, if you have SPG status, they work hard to recognise that.
The only improvement I would recommend is that the SPG Prefered desk is not always staffed during busy times, so if you are SPG Plat., you might wait a while to get checked in. Other than that - a consistently good experience.

Consistently reliable for a 1 night stay. My room had been refreshed when compared with some and was in good condition. It smelt of tobacco smoke on entering but not worth making a fuss. The room above was noisy and I heard talking as well as movement and door closing. It was very clean except for the bedside locker top. Having no hot drink facility is pretty old fashioned. The staff were excellent as usual
