Rated 2 out of 5 by Worst Sheraton I've ever stayed at I stayed my first night in Panama in a different hotel and moved to the Sheraton because I thought I was going to find the level of quality the brand normally provides. This was probably the worst Sheraton I've ever stayed at. The room was small, carpet was old and missing in a spot. The bathroom was small, the shower bad and the ceiling in the bathroom was low and looked bad. Staff I interacted with was indifferent to rude, with three exceptions, during check-in, check-out and at the pool restaurant on my last night. July 1, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent hotel, but a bit away from the city center Stayed here for 3 nights. They have great SPG Platinum status recognition, and I was upgraded to one of their corner suites w/o asking. The check-in agent was polite and explained to me all the details. One suggestion for them is to have a dedicated SPG elite check-in line at the front desk. During peak hours, the queue gets very long and it would be appreciated. The suite include two smaller bathrooms with shower only. It would be nice to have one bigger bathroom and/or with a bath tub. Due to the hotel location and the window angle, the living room had a nice waterview. Their Club Lounge is nice and never crowded during the stay. The breakfast hours include full buffet items and omelette station. The evening spreads include two hot items, ceviche, fruit/cheese, salad, mini sandiwich, dessert items, and beer/wine. Complementary wireless internet access was also available in the lounge. Location-wise, it is a bit away from the city center - you need a cab to get around. Due to the casino (within the hotel), it gets very crowded on weekend evenings, and the rather small entrance area becomes like a zoo - gets challenging to get help from the bell desk for taxi. They also seem to host lots of functions/parties which make the situation even more chaotic. Their fitness club is fairly new and nicely equipped. The service received from concierge was a bit mixed. One guy was very friendly and polite - he was always helpful while the other guy seemed to be bothered for a simple assistance request. September 24, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tired hotel with nagging service issues If you do not like the smell of cigarette smoke you might not like it here. While the hotel was made non-smoking by law 3 years ago (according to staff), the odor lingers on. There is new carpet but the rest of the facilities are very tired and worn. I checked multiple rooms and each had the same old, musky odor. Service is slow and in some cases indifferent. Experienced things like greasy kids handprints on the windows (filthy from the inside and outside), the 24-hour casino closing tables, getting walked in on by hotel staff even though he heard the shower running...there was a lot that did not go right on this stay and I would have serious reservations about coming back or recommending to others. Rated 5 out of 5 by Welcoming stay We stayed for 3 days whle en route to Bocas. The the hotel and facilities - rooms, gym, pool, spa, lobby, restaurants - all clean, updated, very nice. We traveled for family vacation, though many business - convention related travelers. No problems either way. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, had no problems at all. Thankfully the majority of staff spoke English very well and were very gracious with our attempts to use our ¨muy poco¨Spanish. Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to have shuttle service to Allbrook (the smaller local) airport. The cabfair around town did kill us, though with a family if 5 in a city you don´t know, you take the easy / safe though expensive option of cabs flagged by the hotel. June 18, 2013
