Loved the hotel and location, right on a beautiful beach, great pool area. The only thing i would have liked was a frig and microwave in the room. FYI- Food at hotel extremely expensive(exple; Breakfast buttet $25, lunch $38) so ate at local restaurants in the area.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kaelan5 a hotel with no towels
Unfortunately our stay at the hotel was below expectations. We received no towels in our room on each of the 7 days we stayed. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't supply towels. Each evening we had to either call the front desk or wait in line at the front desk in order to have towels sent to our room. It was frustrating and time consuming. I tried tipping, no tipping, talking to the manager, talking to housekeeping as they were about to enter our room. Nothing worked. The front desk was didn't seem to care, nor make any apologies. The rooms and hallways are in need of upgrades. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a very dated property. The staff are great and the rooms are average. Some updates but overall the hotel is dated. The construction next door only makes it appear worse. They say the casiono is open but ALL the table games are closed till June. Even the AC in the casino doesn't seem to be working. Beach/Pool areas great.
Overall its an average hotel but would rather try a different hotel next time I'm there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maraeve This hotel offers the best
The hotel staff were extremely courteous and were great ambassadors for their country. The food here was exquisite, I highly recommend going to the Amici A Trattoria and ask for Charles. He was the best!

Rated 3 out of 5 by jill nice location and features
hotel was beautiful; however, i cannot believe that a resort of that magnitude did not have wifi in the rooms. In order to get wifi you had to basically congregate in the lobby and listen to all the other conversations and noise. I actually cut my vacation short due to this reason.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JulieT Embarrassed for you
We had a horrible experience with no resolution. No hot water for 4 people all week. No soap, shampoo, wash clothes about every other day. No response when we ask the SPG person except "Yeah we know". No satisfactory refund for our very uncomfortable stay. I was embarrassed that I took my family with me. We would have left the resort if we could have had a refund for the starpoints and money we paid. The 40.00 per day ammenties fee is for nothing, we didn't have any, the lobby was packed because the WiFi didn't work in most rooms. The automatic tips in the restaurants allowed the servers to provide half service. I will never stay with this resort again. I hope that I can talk my family into going to another location. At this point they are saying No. I expect a full refund for the ammenities and cash we had to pay for the room and starpoints for this vacation. "'I'm sorry" is not a satisfactory resolution. Do members have any recourse or are we to expect sub-standard service?

I was traveling with my daughter on a prewedding mom daughter vacation. I have been a loyal spg gold member for years. This hotel was very disappointing and it is hard to believe it is a sheraton. We had to call to have our room cleaned. One night the hotel did not have towels so we could not shower after a day on the beach. When we called for towels they housekeeping said they would be right up. After waiting 15 minutes and calling they said the hotel had no towels and wasn't sure when they would have some. The next day there were no towels at the pool in the morning. The staff said they would have them in a half hour. Instead it was almost 2 hours. Guest services had a habit of not picking up the phone or hanging up on you. Only one day of our trip was someone actually at the SPG desk. Th hotel ran out of pina coladas. I have been traveling to island resorts for 30 years. I have never heard of this happening, even on very remote islands. The restaurant by the pool/beach has a very limited menu and serves salads in plastic to go containers. This is the only lunch option other then a full buffet inside the hotel. while the beach is beautiful and nassau if easy to get to, I don't think I would ever return to this property.
