The staff was polite and assisted when asked. The hotel has some age and requires some maintenance, but a budget for repairs and proper planning can repair the items and maintain the quality of the hotel. The hotel had all the amenities of a Sheraton.

The sheets were dirty when we checked in, the floor was filthy (I had to rewash my feet from walking around barefoot 10 minutes after my shower - all three days), and there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. Also, the ironing board was gross. Shockingly, there are trees that drip sap onto cars in the parking lot, and we had to have the sap professionally removed from our vehicle. Management sent someone up right away to fix the sheet issue. We didn't feel like complaining again about the other room issues, and we didn't know about the sap until after we left.
On the plus side, even though the bathroom is VERY small, the shower was excellent.

This hotel is not the quality I expect from the SPG program!!! Very disappointed! I expect more when going through the SPG affiliated hotels when looking for accommodations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mpatel1983 Worst SPG hotel I have ever stayed in
This hotel is horrible, ripped furniture to horrible customer service. Few things that stand out in the 2 nights my wife and I stayed here for are:
1. Customer service, is slow and rude on the phone. When asked for extra towels or asking them to fix a AC condensing leak (more on that later) they are slow to respond is they respond ever.
2. The place is very rundown. In our room the seats and sheets on the bed were ripped. There was water leaking from the AC unit is was located in the ceiling. After calling multiple times, they finally came. Their solution was to stuff a towel so it would not leak on the ground. This has to be a safety issue. Evenmore, the bathroom was a total mess. you cannot open or close the door completely since it hits the toilet. The worse part the toilet seatcover was broken, which they never fixed.

We were returning from a Caribbean cruise and had our flights changed at the last minute. A message to the reservations desk made sure that the room was held until our midnight arrival and our tired bones welcomed the well appointed room.

Facilities were old and needed a refresh. Some of the staff did not even know if the property had a business center for printing- same staff member had an attitude.
Was not confident that room and bathroom was entirely clean

This hotel is in an area with little SPG representation. Due to this have used hotel before and overall, this Sheraton needs an update. Staff and management were excellent. The chain restaurant was sub-par and the staff seemed preoccupied, but I will stay again as they recognize and acknowledge loyalty very well.

Had a wonderful stay at Roanoke Sheraton - everybody was so helpful and welcoming. We always enjoy our stay with you - thanks for an enjoyable visit.
