All my estance, the door key did not work and the TV had a general problem in the building someone told me. I saw TV as a foggy image.
There is no Bath Gel at the toilette. I can't undertand why there are shmapoo, moisturizer and body lotion but not shampoo.

internet was painfully slow plus the bathtubs were a disgrace - after asking the reception to clean in or change my room for the 3rd time i was moved to another room. it was better but ffar from clean.
i have to say i was disapointed to see this happening at this hotel. breakfast service slow i had to request for a table to be cleaned so i could sit and eat and had to wait 15 min for the table to be pooly clean and set. more english channels the list of channels in the room does not match the TV.

I was stayed few days ago. It is really hard to find hotel location. There is no information on homepage how can I get there. PLEASE WRITE AT LEAST METRO STATION.
room facilites is good. clean and comfort.
front desk and reception staff is fine. but, the other staff is... well. for example I ask to door staff when can I buy beer. He answer, gas-station. but, they don't sell the alcohols.
When I leaving the hotel, no one helped me. I need to carry luggage. They are just standing and watching.

I was staying full week, but because unavailability of room , I had to book split in two different places,
Last minute came a call, I could stay the next coming days also in your hotel Istanbul Sheraton, which I really did appreciate a lot

The worst part of this stay was the constant smell of smoke seemingly evereywhere throughout the hotel lobby, elevators and floors. While initially offered an upgrdade to a higher florr, the smeel of the room was unbearable and it took awhile for staff to understand that I have allegeries to smoke. Then was offered what i was told a non-smoking room which had the stench of smoke in the linen, pillows, etc...also, SPG members should be offered special floors!

The room was always too hot at night. Was told the air conditioning was controlled not by rooms. I asked for a fan and when I returned to the room the window was left open. There was no fan. I asked3 nights of the 5 nights I stayed if anything could be done. Nothing could be done. There are very few choices at this hotel to eat at.

My shirt was ruined by the laundry company and the AC did not have cold air for the majority of the day, making for uncomfortable sleep.
The staff was very responsive, but the problems remained unresolved.

If you will pay Euros in cash you need to pay a deposit that is at least 40% higher than your expected bill and when you are leaving the hotel the 40% excess you paid will be returned to you in the local currency (in this case Turkey TRL) even if you do not need it because you are a foreigner whose flight takes off in an hour´s time! Reason – personnel at the check-out point do not keep change in Euros. So, if you are leaving the hotel early in the morning when all banks are still closed to exchange your money, then you are in trouble. I regard this as a way of forcing someone against his will as you were not earlier informed you will pay a deposit that is 40% in excess of your bill and that you should bring with you the exact amount you need to pay when checking out, otherwise, your balance will be returned to you in TRL.

One main remark for the price of room per night and the expected level of a Sheraton hotel, the Bathroom was just ok and the service poor. I waited almost an hour in the room for a club sandwich, the service for breakfast was bad, room heating was not working and repaired after few days of complains...

upon getting inside the room:
1- Towels are dirt!
2- drinking glasses were dirt with wine residuals and lipstick of a lady!
3- upon checking in, the reception team has denied the letter of booking confirmation although it was printed under there system!!.
4- enforced me to stay my night in smoking room.
5- i have asked for room service for dinner, it came after 1 hour and the waiter has told me when i have called him, sorry we forgot your room nimber.

Great hotel with great spa facilities however location to Taksim and other interesting locations was not so great.
the food was good however ive had better meals in the local restaurants in Istanbul.
the internet connection available in the room is another thing that would put me off staying here again, pretty much every hotel i have stayed in supply the WIFI of LAN connection for free, this is not the case at this "prestigious" hotel chain.

The only good thing was the close proximity to the business district which was the main reason I was there. However, my room was close to the station of all cleaners which was a huge distraction to me. My bed had a hole in it and it took them 2 days to get me a heater as it was very cold in my room.

My hotel needs are easy. Room key did not work - very annoying when having to go all the back down again and short of time. Air conditioning did not work (and neither did my work mates work in their two other rooms). Shower head kept falling off the wall. Bed was comfortable. So of the 4 key areas, 3 failed. I told the guy on reception at checkout - he seemed resigned to it - seemed not the first compliant. Decor is old, dark and not good.

Last Wednesday the 14 of november I arrived with a group of collegues at Sheraton Maslak. That evening a private party was held on the 3rd floor which kept a lot of guests awake untill 3 A.M! This is unacceptable. Complaining at the receptation starting from 11 o'clock in the evening untill 02:30 in the morning (!!!) turned out unsuccesfull. Not a single person took action. Even complaining at the party itself was unsuccesfull.

Fantastic team makes this a special hotel.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.
Proximity to the metro means you are close to all the sights.

I would have expected the bathroom to be more clean, plus the minibar products were full of dust. One day the trash cans were left open without the plastic bags and the covers left 1 on top of the desk the other on top of the bathroom.

internet not working, no solution from staff
breakfast is so meager
VIP lounge smells so bad and food so scarce, staff come in and our serving themselves
sports Equipment: the squash ball was broken and they had no spare!
the instructions at the reception desk are not followed
at least the room was clean...

The room Tempature was way too warm and when I inquired with management they said their system was a general one and the heat was still on (no air conditioning). They suggested opening my window which I did and that actually made the room warmer. When the window was open there was way too much noise to sleep. For a hotel of this caliber (121 Euro per night), room temperature should be controllable.

The rooms are OK but staff is not friendly.
On arrival have felt have came away from my land the way staff give respect to guest it tells everything.
Food quality is only OK not great or excellent.
I dont know if any Indian has done anything wrong in past but we were treated at one level lower than others.
The biggest issue is lack of English communication skills. They are badly in need of this.

Sheraton Maslak has good location in terms of business trips so most of the major company headquarters nearby. On the other hand, hotel rooms are big and comfortable but old, need to be renovated, similar to elevators.

I stayed in this hotel couple of weeks back. I do not find this hotel adhering to the Sheraton brand standards. The Wi-Fi internet is a BIG problem. Despite repeated complaints, the hotel staff was not able to fix it.
Also, the room cleanliness was poor. The staff didn't clean the desk and the washroom was also a bit dirty.
In a summary, this hotel need to improve a lot.

Welcoming was very kind and warm. Although we were a large group , our check-in completed quickly . My room was very comfortable, clean and the bed was the most comfortable one i have ever slept in. I attended to a very good lunch and breakfast, extremely high interested personnel and comfortable, peaceful restaurant was very noticable.

- Hotel needs a overhaul (brocken sockets in the wall, poor noise insolation [I do not want to hear the room next to me and feel the cars driving through my room], brogen sink,...
- Not clean fingerprints on mirrors etc.
- overall amazed that sheraton is having such hotels under its brand and that in a city where really nice hotels do exist

A spacious, comfortable and quiet room is upgraded and offered to us. Facility is good but location for tourist is a bit inconvenient. Houskeeping is good. Lobby guest service needs improvement. Map for transpoprtation is too commercialized and public transportation description not informative enough. Restaurant service is to slow..

My reservation was wrong and I didn't realise it. The reservation ran out one day earlier than planned. So I did not leave the hotel when I was supposed to do so. The very nice team from the reception pro-active just extended my reservation and so I was very lucky that I could extend without any problems. Thank you to the team!

Have chosen the hotel just to be close to meeting place. Is my second stay (shame on me).
In a nutshell: experience was below expectations, the hotel just takes advantage of location to squeeze business travelers in need. While quality of service and restaurant are generic reasonable but lower the expected standard.
