Rated 1 out of 5 by JohnSPG14 Unacceptable for SPG
As a SPG Platinum Member I travel frequently. Never in my wildest dreams would I expect the scene that I was subjected to at this dated and mismanaged property. Upon arrival I was assigned to an accessible room near the elevator despite requesting a non-accessible room and location away from elevator. The bed was not a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper. It was a mess of two twin beds strapped together holding a mattress which sunk like a riverbed in the middle. I called the desk and was told the hotel was sold out and there was nothing that could be done. After contemplating sleeping on the floor a manager called and re-assigned me to an open room one floor up (same room configuration). The new room had filthy floors with stains all over them and smelled like an animal shelter. There was clearly mildew in the room and I had trouble breathing let alone sleeping. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Four Points across the river or keep on driving to Indianapolis as this property is not fit to be part of the Starwood brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Polarbehr Disappointing
We arrived in our room to find a non-working TV. The first night, we discovered the toilet ran a long time after a flush, thus keeping us awake for several minutes; maintenance came to repair, but it began our last day there. The bed felt like a waterbed whenever someone turned over. A manager spoke with me about these items upon my departure and offered to add points to our SPG. Never got the points. I was unable to email my experience directly to the hotel. Apparently the email is not set up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dsantana82 Shouldn't be a Category 4
I want to start off by saying this hotel is in a great location next to food and has a beautiful view of the river and bridge in Kentucky. It is just in serious need of an update and should NOT be a category 4 hotel. I was disappointed I spent 10,000 points on this hotel. I was upgraded to a club suite that was HUGE but there were stains on the rug, the walls were paper thin and you could here every time the elevator came, and the bathroom was dirty. They had a horrible patch job on the bathroom ceiling where you can tell there was a moisture problem. I expect more for a category 4 hotel. I would stay again but they either need to lower their category to a 3 or upgrade the hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dickyjo Great escape right in the city
I love the location of this Sheraton. Right on the river, in the middle of everything, but secluded. Great staff, well maintained property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TomandOren Great Stay!
The staff was particularly kind and welcoming. They were almost excited to have us stay with them, and were extremely accommodating of my dog. Further, they worked quite hard to help us find some local spots for desert at a fairly late hour (10:30pm). The gym was small, but had everything we needed.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in Louisville. The rooms were great and the attached restaurants were reasonable and very good. Overall had a great stay
