Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for a solid hotel Rooms were dated, but clean and spacious. the staff was extremely friendly and had dog treats for our puppy. The pool area is nice and their restaurant has great views of Louisville. The lobby area looks nice and their is plenty of parking. The river walk is right next to the hotel and a great place to stroll. We enjoyed our stay. Nothing special, but a good hotel for those in the city for business or a short stop-over. July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel's staff is amazing I stayed here for a girl's night out and my friend didn't show. I ran into some friends who invited me out for drinks. The front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel better while i waited a couple hours for my friend to show. When coming back to the hotel i was greeted by the night auditor who was so sweet and caring. I had the best night sleep between the comfortable bed to knowing the staff was there if i needed them for anything. May 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 4 day golf getaway with the guys! The hotel was clean and in great shape. Location was awesome. Didn't expect the full breakfast on our visit but was an excellent and wonderful surprise. Staff was polite and easy to talk with and always had a smile. Would definitely go back. April 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Enjoyed our stay After 16 hours of driving , we randomly picked this hotel go crash at and were pleasantly surprised! The staff was exceptional! Especially Andy and John! We were well rested and left saying we have to come back here sometime! Great place to stay. Highly recommend. April 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quick overnight in Louisville Selected this SPG hotel for overnight prior to a tour of Churchill Downs the next morning. Hotel was nice, clean and good for this trip. What was disappointing was the staff person working the club level in the morning. Not a nice lady at all and really gave a disappointing impression to leave this hotel with. She was definitely not a happy person. I asked if she had any tea bags and she told me no. when i asked if the restaurant may have some they could send up, she said "i don't know, you can go check" while putting her hands on her hips as if i'd totally asked her to do something absurd! I was astonished at her behavior and so surprised SPG allowed her to be the face of the club level ... not a nice way to kick off our day! April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Family at the Sheraton I come to this hotel to be as comfortable as possible when I have to travel to visit my ailing mother. This facility is dog-friendly and that's important as seeing her "grand puppy" is one of my moms few joys. This last visit was exceptional. The staff is top notch; from Conner, the Manager, John, the concierge/shuttle driver (who offered kind encouragement every morning he shuttled me downtown to see my mom at the hospital), Chelsea at the front desk, Chris in the club room, and Earl, a back of house specialist who after chatting with me about my mom's condition on the elevator orchestrated a bouquet to be sent to her at the hospital. This place has become a second home to me and the staff an extension of family. Kudos to Sheraton because this team exemplifies the promise of you new sizzle reel. Thank you for making an otherwise hard visit pleasant and restful. February 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Platinum Upgrade When we arrived for check-in, we were advised that the water was off in the hotel. However, we were upgraded to a riverfront suite (although the desk clerk apologized for the stained carpets which were scheduled to be replaced). When we got back from our event, all was well with the water and we had good sleep. My husband was especially happy about finding chocolate milk in the club lounge We have stayed here before. My memory is that the food was good and reasonably priced, although the restaurant is a bit of a walk through the hotel. The payoff is a view overlooking the river. January 6, 2016
