Rated 4 out of 5 by very pleasant Visiting this venue on my birthday was a very good choice for me while I couldn't have the leisure for a long trip. My room was definitely very pleasant, nice view, high up, nice soothing colour tone, and the room smelled nice and pleasant. The bed and pillow were very comfortable, and the bed lining was of very fine quality, smooth and soft. The only little drawback was, I could hear the ladies from the next room through the locked connecting door. Facilities in general are good. Just that one swimming pool was not opened (even after the designated opening hour), and a staff told me it was closed. I really wanted to try this pool because it seems like a pool with longer length which will be good for lap swimming... Anyway, the other pool area was still very nice. SPG area at the lobby is a nice exclusive area for members to rest/wait in this busy lobby. I like it. One little thing is, maybe a non-front desk staff was there, and I happened to asked this staff for direction, this staff was not as "friendly". well... just my personal feeling. not meant to be particularly picky, but I think, it is important to keep the friendliness and helpfulness when going to the guest area. I've encountered some really friendly non-front desk staffs too, which will definitely enhance the impression of the whole hotel group :)) July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay During my stay, every single member of staff that I came across were absolutely superb. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and accomdating. The rooms were sound proof, the beds were incredibly comfortable. The tv could have had a few more channels and the lifts could have been explained a little clearer. Really and truly those elements were not negative. The pool was also super! July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton macau was great I came into the room, the television had a big noise like 'zzzzzzzz' sound. So I asked to fix it, the guy who fixes the facility changed to another TV over all. It took a little time but I was very satisfied with that. So I spent so great time in Sheraton. Thanks! Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice room but slow service. When I check-in Laura at the SPG counter told me that I could have the Macau Daily but I insist to have the Southern China Morning Post for that she has to ask her manager whether I could have the SCMP. Laura speaks with a board smiles and keeps her calmness and she gave me a welcome drink just to make me happy because of my complain of the newspaper. This is ashamed that I have to bargain for an English newspaper in a five star hotel? When I called customer service for a box of paper tissue (Kleenex) it took about half an hour. I had to called customer service again and asked what happened to the box of Kleenex? Even room service could brought me a bowl of Wonton noodle at night faster than the box of Kleenex. Sheraton needs lots of improvement compared to other hotel nearby. July 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Service Issues I am a Platinum SPG member and expected far better service than received. There are two very glaring issues with the staff. 1. Their English is incomprehensible and 2. They are unresponsive to the guest. I'm here with a convention and asked that my SPG number be added to my account so I could be count this stay toward my 2014 nights. The response was, sorry you are booked at a group rate. Now while that is true I do not understand why you would not allow one of your better customers to count these nights toward my 2014 qualification. Makes no sense and makes me want to move my loyalty to another hotel chain. The worst event so far is I was not allowed to order room service breakfast from the menu (which I had to ask to be sent up to my room and arrived 30 minute later) because, "the hotel is understaffed and the chef is too busy to cook a room service breakfast"!!!! How long does it take to cook a couple of eggs? Instead I was offered a double cheese burger from a special room service menu for this convention. Now I ask you, really, double cheese burger for breakfast????!!! I was transferred to a "manager" who affirmed what I had been told. He offered to have the manager call me but I was so angry I told him not to bother. In the unlikely event that he could have had the kitchen cook a breakfast for me I would not have eaten it anyway for fear that the staff would have spit in the eggs or worse. This may be the largest Sheraton in the world but it is also the worst I have had the displeasure of staying. On another note the signage in the hotel is confusing or nonexistent. I will not return to Macau and for certain if I do have to, I would never stay at this property. I would also never recommend this hotel to anyone. July 11, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by If you could stand with the smoking smell Being a spg member, could enjoy the designated counter for check in /out, didn't get any help with luggage for both times. Upgraded to executive suite, surprisingly the decoration is a bit worn and cleanliness of the room is not up to standard, such as hair on bed-cover and dust on coffee tables. loads of shops just steps away from lobby, but remember only to linger there if you could stand with the smoking smell. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Experience We stayed 4 nights at the Sheraton in a Suite with Club access. From the first step into the Hotel till the last when we checked out it was a great time we had! The check in was fast and friendly...any questions we had they were promptly answered. The Club Lounge was very good and again very helpfull staff especially Glenny (hope the name is correct). She was very helpfull. Also Eric from Housekeeping did a perfect job with the room cleaning. We went to Shrekfast which I can recommend for all families. Our son had fun at the pool and the kids activities! Nice program with the treasure hunt and coloring...pity he just got 2 stamps cause we did not have enough time to spend there. For sure we want to go back! Thank you for making our stay memorable! July 10, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded Expectations I originally booked a room at another hotel for my recent holiday in Macau. Due to some changes with our schedule, I had to rebook our hotel accommodations. The Sheraton was not my first choice; I ended up selecting a Club Level room because it was a good value. When we arrived in the main lobby, we were greeted by Gregorio. He immediately escorted us to the Club Lounge for our check-in. The Club Lounge staff was efficient and instantly made us feel welcome. The Lounge decor was tasteful and inviting; it was the perfect place to relax! After check-in, Gregorio escorted us up to our room and explained all of the Club Level benefits to us. About ten minutes later, he called us to make sure we were satisfied with our room. That was excellent customer service! The quantity and quality of offerings at each Club Lounge buffet was excellent. It exceeded our expectations (especially the happy hour buffet). For our entire trip, my friend and I were impressed by the level of service and genuine hospitality that the Club Lounge staff extended to us. Joao secured restaurant reservations for us, Daniel answered all of our questions about setting up a tour, and Brian was very friendly and accommodating as we enjoyed breakfast on our second morning. I travel a lot for work and have never encountered a hotel staff that was as friendly and attentive as the one at Sheraton Cotai Central. They are what makes this hotel so special, and they are the reason that my friend and I look forward to returning. Whenever I visit Macau, the Sheraton Cotai Central will be my first and only choice! Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Sheraton in Macao We usually take our wedding anniversary vacation at different Sheraton resorts. This time we picked Sheraton Macao. Our only regret is we didn't do it earlier. I am a Platinum and they've upgraded us to their best suite (other than Presidential Suite), with a bottle of wine and a flower decorated bed with towel swans. We felt special right away and the entire stay was magical. Plenty of shopping, exhibits, shows, for the whole family. It is close to beach, airport, lots of local events, and historical centers are only 20 minutes taxi ride away. We will definitely be future guests! Rated 5 out of 5 by One of my favorite Sheraton hotels... Huge complex, lots of shops and restaurants. The SPG staff are fantastic, especially Mayden, who accommodated all our requests. Check-in and out is a breeze. The room is great with a view of the pool and Venetian. Breakfast is good, with lots of choices, all the usual stuff plus dimsum, congee and noodle station. I would have loved more fruit selection, especially those that are abundant in tropical Asia. The pool area is nice, when swimming in the early morning, you can have a section of the pool to yourself. I love the free shuttle to just about everywhere - the airport, the ferry terminals, The Venetian. Only problem is some of the other staff has problems making themselves understood in English. Overall, the stay was fantastic, but Macau itself leaves a lot to be desired. June 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great facilities but poor service (esp. front desk) This has been my third times to stay in Sheraton Macau, and I am just invited to join SPG club this time. Overall, I feel good about the hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool and gym, and the room is so far comfortable. However, I do unsatisfactory about the front desk staff service, both check-in and check-out. First of In, there are just 3 check-in counters in SPG lobby (at least 3 staff were not occupied around but no help at all) and I've been keeping on line for at least 15 minutes. When I did the check-in, the check-in staff is indeed not very friendly and in hurry without briefing me details about my stay(because her colleague was waiting next to her for lunch). I feel frustrated when I check my room given its at very low floor and connected room while the check-in staff didn't ask my preference or mention it. The housekeeping service do need improvement as well. Overall, the accommodation is pleased but the staff service is not up to international standard. June 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by overall stay was not quite satisfactory when I checked in, I was given only two options to choose Starwood points or F&B credits. I chose points which exclude make -up room option ( which I was not informed).Where in the world's hotel who does not make-up room everyday. Oh, well, if they trying to "go green", the least they can do is to make up the bed and clean the room even without changing the linens. When we went around and trying to check out the pools, we went to see Sala first, the pool attendant was kind enough to tell us to check out the other side ( Jaya pools ). so we went there to have a .look. The pool attendant at Jaya ask for our room key. we told him our room number and proceeded to look around and have some pictures taken. When we were about to leave, the pool attendant was very rude to ask us to show him our room key card ( we did not even use the pool and we were not wearing swim wear ). Is this a world class hotel?
