After a very cold reception by the front desk staff, we found our room to be quite nice with the exception of no air conditioning. We were told to open the windows! Airport noise and open windows do not make good company. Also, arriving on a Sunday - no available shuttle service, no information given out at check in, very rude and uncaring staff at the desk made this less than pleasurable. The restaurant however was good with fairly good service. At check out we were double charged for breakfast - not a great way to end not a great stay. Would not recommend unless staff could improve upon how they treat and come across to people. Very disappointing for a Starwood property.

This Hotel is located directly at the airport and not too far from the old port and other sights. The outward appearance is very nice and our suite was very comfortable. The only problem- which is an important aspect indeed- was the staff. Nobody could speak English at an acceptable level and so I had to ask four times for cold milk at the breakfast until the waitress (who was also very unfriendly) brought me what I had asked for. However, the service is not corresponding to a 4 star hotel. The hotel should invest in people and their training.

We stayed at the Sheraton Genoa for a couple of nights. For a short stay with little time we didn't have many expectations but the staff exceeded all of our expectations. They assisted us with recommendations for touring around the town, ensuring we were upgraded to the rooms we requested, and went above and beyond in assisting us with transportation especially Marsela at the front desk as well as the drivers.
Not a luxury resort but a great airport hotel with amazing staff

Vorneweg das Positive: Das Personal war zumeist nett, auch wenn die kleine Bar eher ohne Service war und man die Getränke an der Theke bestellen musste. Die normale Hotelbar hatte ganz geschlossen. Die Einrichtung ist komplett abgewohnt, die Tapeten in den Fluren sind veraltet und es riecht entsprechend muffig. Ich kann nicht verstehen, warum man als Sheraton-Gruppe seinen Gästen so etwas zumutet!

It was my third time at this hotel. It's an average Sheraton but I really like their friendly staff. I will be back for sure.
