Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel I stayed in this Hotel 4 days in a business travel. I really enjoyed its very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Sleeping was excellent. It is also very close to main shopping malls and good restaurants. People are very kind and always willing to assist you. I definitely will come again. May 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Indoor pool was a treat Indoor pool had great hours (0630a-1000p). Only downside was had to walk across lobby to get to it. Was surprised that the SPG lounge was not available to us as Gold Members - site specific? We spent 3 days at a Sheraton property in Oct in Pittsburgh, PA and the lounge was available to us. Rated 3 out of 5 by Dirty Room This may have been an isolated case as I have never had such an issue at this property before. There was a half empty pizza box under the wardrobe, hairs in the tub, a used bar of soap and white duvets with major stains. One the floor between the bed and nightstand was one long piece of used dental floss. November 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple comment The restruarant seems overpriced - especially the breakfast menu. The room doors "slam" shut. This was a little disturbing when we were trying to sleep. Otherwise the rooms were comfortable ! I appreciate your recycle baskets in each room. June 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our Stay in Chicago area Everything was perfect-the service I was most impressed with was the shuttle. The drivers always seem so willing to help us get around. They exceeded our expectations. We were there for a monkey conference and the staff was very helpful and provided a lovely buffet luncheon and room for our group. July 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Stay Got to be a bit concerned when the staff has to post a notice in elevator asking children not to run in the halls. (Though that really questions the quality of adult supervision of the children). Stayed over Thanksgiving. Almost always stay here when visiting family. Convenient and quality staff. December 1, 2013

When I called to talk to some one about the hotel, I spoke to Robert and he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. March 31, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Less than expected After a long road trip the last thing I wanted to do was wait to check-in, 12 minutes. I'm assuming because there were at least 5 parties standing in line behind be that normal information was missed during check-in or rushed in conversation (SPG, lounge information, internet password, etc.). The next issue was dirty sheets. If I could, I would upload a pic, however, I'm not that tech savvy. Again, this is the last thing I wanted to deal with after a long ride and waiting so long for check-in. I called and there was a quick apology and some was sent up. At this time, I surely questioned if the room was cleaned thoroughly because the stain and material was very visible without pulling back the sheets. Lastly, to add insult to injury - as my partner was checking out, I walked up to him being chastised about having a cart and a wedding party having to carry down their luggage. Very unprofessional. It was the very same man who checked us in and who was aware of our wait and dirty sheets. He had nothing to say about the two prior situations. I wonder why he wasn't as verbal about the lack of customer service and cleanliness of his facilities as he was about only having two carts in the hotel. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Hotel That I Enjoy Returning To This is a wondeful hotel to stay at if you want to be near the Northbrook area. There is a Whole Foods across the street and near some strip mall type shopping. Easy to access the highways. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The indoor pool/hot tub and exercise room are an added bonus since they both are very nice. There is a restaurant on site but I have never tried it. This year we paid the extra money to stay on the club level so that we would have breakfast each morning and not have to go out. (The only downside was that on Thanksgiving morning they did not use a weekend hour and I would like to see this changed.) The staff that I encountered was at all times friendly and kind. The hotel is VERY clean (and I am very picky about that one). I highly recommend staying here and it is the first hotel I look at when visiting our family. ALSO, the rooms are quite and you do not hear through the walls. The doors do make a slamming sound though if guests are not considerate when closing the doors. November 30, 2011

The front desk staff, very friendly especially the night attendant. It was a bit of travel to the conference, but the stay at the Hotel made me forget about the mileage. July 24, 2013

The hotel was sold out for the night of 8 14 but Denise at the front desk was able to extend my stay to accommodate my need at a very difficult time for my family. I was treated with kindness and sessitivity for my stay I can't thank you enough. August 19, 2012

Have stayed at other Sheratons. This one seemed to not be as impressive in scale, design, or style, however, was very comfortable and the rate was fair. September 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great suburban hotel Our king room was comfortable and in line with a typical Sheraton. The oversized desk faced the window, which I always welcome when working; however, the AC/heating unit fan oddly vented out through the desk thus blowing directly in the face of anyone sitting at the desk. Outlets were plentiful, including two at each nightstand. My only major negative comment on the rooms is the thin walls/doors: we could hear our neighbors' conversations and TV clearly and noise in the hall came into the room noticeably. It didn't particularly bother us, but anyone noise-sensitive will likely find that problematic. The lobby and adjoining restaurant/bar were compact but comfortable, with the fireplace a welcome comfort of home. Parking is free and abundant. The Club lounge was comfortable and uncrowded. It's attended only during breakfast and evening hours, but stocked with soft drinks and water and available via key 24 hours. The evening attendant was particularly helpful with a couple of restaurant recommendations too. November 15, 2012

The accommodations, service, food, atmosphere are all excellent. I would highly recommend the Sheraton - Northbrook, IL to everyone needing a location in the northern suburbs. July 14, 2013

The staff was very attentive especially the club level staff we were treated like family. I highly recommend the location and would book my stay there again without hesitation. October 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Comfortable The hotel was great, the only bummer was the coffee was always empty in the morning when we went to get a cup and the hotel bar only had one staff on with about 40 customers. That was rough. One of our party actually took drink orders for the whole place up to the bartender. July 29, 2013

The staff at the front desk, and in the restaurant, are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it has become my "home away from home." February 26, 2012

The rates are comparable. It is convenient to shopping and restaurants. There is no reason to stay anywhere else when in Chicago. August 22, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Guarantee request not met I had booked a king room on the club floor for this stay, which is what my reservation states, upon arrival, I was told there were no king rooms available and was given a double. Very disappointed I did not receive the room I had booked with guarantee. December 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great staff. Worst wireless network ever. The location and pricing of this property are excellent for my needs in seeing clients. Unfortunately I needed to get quite a bit of work done and the wireless network here is terrible. Depending on your needs, this may be an excellent choice. Or not. October 24, 2012

The only comment I would make is that the Restaurant staff was slow in service. Tough to find a server at Breakfast. February 23, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable bed Very good. the lounge has couple of fridge and the one with the milk and juice are always locked.. the other side that contains water and soda is okay. Just not sure if it is only for viewing and not for anyone to consume those November 1, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs improvement The hotel is poorly managed. Staff is more focused on having fun amongst themselves than serving guest. Rooms was smelly and did not make a clean impression. Bed linen were rumpled and not smelling fresh. November 6, 2012
