A venue canceled 2 days before an event I was planning. The entire host committee was coming in from out of town and staying at the Sheraton in Arlington. On short notice we were able to book a meeting room, they made a stage for us, served food, let us borrow décor from around the hotel and ended up having a great event. The staff did a superb job on such a short notice!

First visit & first impression - a "skink" i called it to the front desk. They said it was the new SPG-mandated fragrance - Mocha. I tried not to be rude, but was - let it slip I'll call it Sheraton Stink. It was overpowering, but fortunately, did not make it up to the rooms. When I stepped into the office the next morning, about four nicely dressed office staff was there. When I mentioned I found it overpowering, and even a bit "gross," you would have thought by looks on face of each and every one of the four that I had just called the mothers or babies ugly. Oh well, I came back again, and the Sheraton "aroma" as just as prevalent. At least i was not surprised, and I kept my mouth shut. Rest of feedback on hotel is Sheraton standard - good.

There were stains on the carpet, upholstered chairs, bedding, and even down the hallway. There was something sticky on the guest services book. The bedding looked wrinkly like it was wadded up in a ball before it was put on the bed. The club lounge was disappointing. The first time we went up there to check out the "all day snacks" there was a big bowl with remnants of peanuts and a few granola bars, not impressive. When we went back for the continental breakfast, the small amount of food that we did see looked picked over and not appealing. The only thing we really enjoyed about this hotel was that we could walk to the ball game, but when it was raining and we asked for the "free shuttle" that was advertised they told us it was not available.

Was very surprised at the hotel quality since it's location was near attractions. But I must say the dining staff was exceptional and friendly. I would return if only to see their smiling faces and warm greetings.

We made reservations months ago - my son was getting married and had his reception there. So there were several family members that stayed there also.
When we arrived - the reservation was not correct. Was supposed to be for a Jr. Suite with 2 double beds, and pull out couch. They one king size bed room, no refrigerator nothing. We made do for two nights but was not what we reserved & had not were to keep drinks cold etc.
Very disappointing with all the money spent there for the reception, several rooms, etc. The staff at the front counter didn't seem to concerned that the reservation wasn't correct. We were also told on the phone that some rooms include breakfast and ours might. At the hotel we were told nothing about breakfast included or not.

My stay was marked by inconsistencies.
The first room "upgrade" was a small room next to elevator. Noise level did not permit a good night rest. The lounge was closed two of the three days. Although I got a breakfast voucher, the restaurant did not have all menu items and had to wait 45 minutes to get service. Despite being a game day frankly the hotel service and staff's attitude appeared/behaved as if the hotel was going out of business. Staff exhibited some of the same problems noted at the Maria Isabel facility in Mexico City.

This hotel is within walking distance to Globe Life Park, a great place to see the Rangers (or in my case the Phillies) and not have to worry about traffic to/from the ballpark. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and exceptionally quiet which isn't always the case in some hotels, As a solo traveler, I felt safe. The common areas were clean and well-maintained. Overall, my trip to Arlington was awesome.

This hotel has an amazing location, and is a nice place to stay but my wife and I had two complaints. They were the following no safe available and no refrigerator in the room.

The Sheraton Arlington should get out of the shuttle service. It was nice to be picked up at DFW and i realize their were over 400 people registered for my conference, I understood the wait and the trip of a little over an hour. Do not tell me that you will take you to a near by restaurant and that you will pick me up and return to the hotel. After I called to be picked up at the restaurant, it was over an hour before you showed at the restaurant.
The trip back took less than 5 minutes with a stop to pick up another guest.

I stayed at this hotel and forgot my iPhone charger. Next day, I called them up to see if it's in lost and found. They said it will be deposited in lost and found and will confirm me. After multiple follow ups they never got back to me. Every time, they would say talk to housekeeping or talk to some one else. I wanted my charger immediately as phone was dead and no option to buy new/original one. I ave stayed at better hotels whose staff are honest and they are prompt in resolving issues and following up with consumer.

The staff was so nice in making sure you were pleased with the hotel and the services. I was especially impressed with Linda in the restaurant. She was very friendly and personable and treated me more like family than a guest. She anticipated my every need. I never had to ask for anything. Michael, the morning waiter was also nice and pleasant.
The shuttle service was a wonderful feature though I stayed at the hotel the entire time because I was so comfortable.

Front desk clerk was very friendly. First impression of room was urine odor in bathroom. Bathrooms are very small, opening the door barely clears the toilet. Left for dinner & asked front desk to have bathroom floor mopped. 3 hrs later on return, it had not been touched. Contacted housekeeping that claimed it had been cleaned & sprayed with air freshner. How were they able to replicate items that we left on the floor? It had not been cleaned! Moving to another room was offered at almost 11pm...who wants to do that?

The housekeeping was poor: the condition of the beds was unsatisfactory (the duvet cover was dirty with a broken zipper and the beds were sloppily/poorly made; also, when i went to straighten the bed after sleeping in it i found the mattress had no actual mattress cover, just a folded up and poorly placed bed sheet which was sitting atop a stained mattress); there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom so when we went to wash up in a rush we had to stop what we were doing to call the front desk and request some, they did get it to us quickly; the curtain rod was about to pop out of the wall; the bathroom sink had nasty mold growing under the rim; the chairs in the room had dirty stains. Oh and as you walked down the hall to the room, you could smell mold quite definitively.

This use to be a great place to stay, but this time maybe it was just my luck of the draw, my tv didn't work, 4-channels only, the floor between the beds was soaken wet. very very different than last year and the years before when i stayed there.

Our trip to Arlington was frustrating when we got the the hotel. The first person that tried to help us at the check in desk did not know what she was doing. When we finally were able to talk to a representative that knew what they were doing; we were told that they did participate a AAA discount however you can only receive the discount if booked online. I don't think that a hotel should promote they accept AAA as a discount and then make the customers jump through hoops in order to get a room. When we tried to book our room online while standing in the hotel lobby, we were never given the option of AAA. I am very upset with the price that I paid. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because they participated with AAA customers.
The actual room was okay. It was clean, but some problems that just made things once again inconvenient. The TV did not work. Only some channels every other time you turned on the TV worked properly. The AC unit also was a huge problem. The fan ran and ran all night however the room never got to a comfortable temperature.

We paid extra for the club level. The mattress in our room needs replacement badly! Every time one of us would turn over the other person was almost seasick! Worse than being on a waterbed the spings are so shot! No bathrobes in our room, the side light by the bed did not work. Made me question what else could be wrong. No one explained that the club level was on floor 18. We were on 17 when we paid for club level so we walked all of 17 looking for it. Had to go back downstairs to ask. The card key kept not wanting to work in the elevator. So not worth the money we paid. Worse night sleep I've ever had at a hotel. Won't be back. The gentleman at the front - no smile, no warmness - looked mad. Staff needs retraining on customer service. Was a milestone celebration that turned out badly.

We had a large group of adults that attended the Ranger game on a Saturday. We got a great deal on the price because we had a large number of rooms. We all stayed on the same floor. It was a great experience and we will definitely stay again!

My wife and I travelled from Ottawa, Canada to Dallas to see our first ever Cowboys game on Thanksgiving. We had booked a different hotel online, site-unseen, and were fooled upon our arrival to that spot. The initial hotel that we booked was dirty, filthy and run-down. I searched multiple hotels in the area and finally fell upon the Sheraton. William greeted my exhausted wife and myself with open arms and a huge smile. He offered us a room (Thanksgiving week), and stated that he would make our stay worthwhile. He suggested restaurants, provided shopping directions, and we were over-joyed when we woke up on game day to find that the stadium was within walking distance. Thank you William for making our first vist to Dallas a historic one for this lifetime Cowboys fan!!! We will be back next year.

I was extremely disappointed in the hotel as a convention hotel. Our room was not ready until after 7:30 p.m. We ate in the restaurant for lunch one day. The restaurant was horribly understaffed. My friend and I ordered at the same time. However, her lunch took 45 minutes longer to be delivered to our table. We missed a session at our conference because lunch took almost 2 hours. As a convention hotel, I would expect a much higher level of preparedness.

We stay here because it is within walking distance of the ballpark. However, the hotel is in need of some work. There was black mold growing in our bathroom in several places. It looks as if the A/C has been leaking. Also the ceiling in the room has damage from leaking. The hallway carpets were very dirty and as soon as we got off the elevator it smelled bad. The staff is great and the food is great and it is nice to be able to walk to games, but they need to do some repairs and cleaning.

Not pleased. I made a four day reservation for the final four and was told of a three day minimum which was fine. I had to leave one day early an was told I had to pay for four days. I made this through Amex platinum and plan to challeng the fourth day charge.

Our focus was to find a hotel near the attractions we came for. We've always trusted any SPG hotel..however this location disappointed our expectations. We felt that because it held a Sheraton name, it didn't hold true this time when it comes to it's standard. We stayed executive level and breakfast was below expectations with little fresh fruit, and stale bagels. The hotel was loud and untidy in the reception area. With all the negatives, staff was friendly and listened to our concerns. Whether or not they will address the issues is another matter. Overall, our stay met our need for location. But that's it. If we had known about everything else, we could've stayed at another hotel and paid less. At least we would've had lower expectations instead of expecting the best which normally comes with a Sheraton name.

Made our reservation a month in advance. Our Jr Suite ended up being a handicap suite and the hotel was not full at all……disappointing. Room service could not get meals correct. The bathroom had a leak from the floor above. The arm of couch had hair on it from previous guests.

My reservation got downgraded initially for the same price without my consent or knowledge. It took me over an hour on hold, a facebook message, and several emails to just get the room I had booked in April at the price I booked it at. I was never able to talk to the same person twice, and it seemed that each new person was completely uninformed of any of my previous interactions. The hotel itself was beautiful, but our tv kept switching in and out of analog/digital, and the internet was slow in addition to being over priced. The front desk and cleaning staff were polite and professional. All in all, it was such a hassle working with Sheraton, and they really did nothing to compensate their repeated mistakes, that although my stay when at the hotel was decent, I would still choose other options whenever possible.

I used SPG points and upgraded suite nights and I’m very sorry that I put my family on this Hotel.
• Hallways were dirty and old. Elevators very dirty and slow.
• Got two Jr suites and the first one the pull up bed was so bad that I requested a room change
• The shower was horrible. The water would get really hot, then really cold then really hot again all on its own.
• The rooms were trashed, furniture on the Jr suite dirty and old, I was afraid to use them. Badly chipped furniture and with food crumbs. TV very bad with lines all over.
• no outlets by the bed
• Very poor concierge suite, coffee was cold, when asked the lady for more coffee she said I know and continue playing on the computer. Frozen cold bagels. No cups for juices on both days.
Over price restaurant for small salads
• Will not stay there ever again

Staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. When I went to the restaurant they acted as though I was bothering them from their other duties. They didn't seem to be concerned when we had other needs like the internet kept floating in and out.
I love Starwood and have never had service like this in any of the hotels I have stayed in... I am still a starwood fan but when in Arlington will stay at a different location
