Upon arriving to checking out, the staff at Sheraton Arlington, which included Sklyer, Elizabeth, Carla, and Mandy went above and beyond making my stay so nice and enjoyable. Right down to running downstairs (I was in the club lounge), to get some peanut butter for my morning bagel.

Room description stated it was for 5 people, but truly only slept 4. My son had to sleep in a chair for two nights. Hotel staff was not sympathetic and did not fix this problem or seem to care since we had already paid in full. Came back to room after first day and tub was clogged and filthy. Tub was unclogged quickly but not cleaned. Kids swam in pool, however came out with scrapes. Pool is very rough on feet, hands and knees, when kids complain and come out bleeding, you know it's bad. Upon check out, staff did not care how our stay was...did not even ask. Handed them our comment card upon checkout and they took it without a word and without eye contact. Very Poor customer service. Will not be back for sure.

This hotel is far below the level it should be. They tried to charge me about $180 night for this rat trap. Carpets, walls, furniture, bedding is dingy and stained. Bathrooms are outdated. Matress was noisy and uncomfortable. 1st room they put me in had leaking toilet and shower. Food on the furniture and bedspread. The rooms smell too. When I insisted on being moved the staff have me attitude and was unfriendly. Oh, and I got to move myself because they never got around to it. 2nd room still smelled, everything stained & A/C was really Loud. I gave up. Got way over charged. Not a good place to stay. Only thing good I can say is that this hotel has a good location. Right next to six flags, hurricane Harbor, etc

Nice hotel, especially if going to a Rangers game. It is within easy walking distance. Cowboy Stadium is close but I did not walk there so cannot comment. The only thing keeping this from an overall 5 star is the lounge area. I stayed here a few years ago and the lounge was a large area. The last time I stayed the lounge was closed for renovations. I thought that was good as it was a little dated. But the new lounge is too small for a hotel that caters to sports fans and did not seem at all inviting. This is not a comment on staff as I did not purchase anything. The only other negative was digital channels were pixelated. This happened a different Dallas area hotel also, so it may have been the satellite service.

A clean facility with a clean pool. The weekend we were in town the hotel was sold out. One night eating in the only hotel restaurant, that was not full, the waiter initially was refusing to do seperate checks, telling one family that he would have to put in their order after he turned in the other orders because it was too difficult to do separate orders. Poor customer service. Another night when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant someone waited over 45 minutes for three take out items. The hotel was fine, just terrible meal experiences.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ej1963 Why I was not satisfied with my stay at this hotel.
Upon arrival, my expectations were met. The hotel was convient to the conferance I was attending, the room was satisfactory and the staff was outstanding. As my stay continued a series of events occured that clouded my stay. Dinner at the restaurant one evening resulted in bread ties in my soup. Needless to say, I was no longer hungry. Upon returning to the room, it was not cleaned, after a further delay the room was cleaned and when I returned the tub was not clean, Apparently when cleaned by housekeeping the tub had backed up and was not properly rinsed. In addition, bugs were found in my bed on two ocassions and charges were made to my bill from the bar, I had not gone to the bar.
All in all not a happy experience.

Starwood hotels have generally been pretty good places to stay with decent creature comforts. This particular Sheraton needs someone to pay attention to the details - people smoke at the entrance to the hotel, the hallways were very cold, the room temps are set on 60 degrees when you check in, the bathroom that we had was a little bigger than an airplane bathroom. The mattresses were bouncy and probably needed to be replaced, and some of the treadmills in the fitness center didn't work properly (you couldn't get the TV to work). So, it is a well located hotel that desperately needs upgrading, and needs for someone to go over everything in the hotel with a checklist and tick things off when they are fixed, and then do that at least once a week to ensure that this comes up to Starwood hotel standards.

The hotel was very nice and conveniently located for our purposes. It was very nice to be able to get out and walk around the stadium and park/pond. We stayed on the Club level. The snacks were good, they charged for beer and wine, saved a little on beer but much better selection of wine in bar downstairs. Breakfast was pretty good, a breakfast "eggroll" , then some other cold items, fruit, cereal , muffins,etc. Loved having Starbucks coffee both in the room and in the Club level lounge. Overall a good stay, would stay there again. Oh, and the pool was very nice!

I have stayed at this Sheraton many times and was very disappointed at the parking issue for hotel guests. There was a Texas Ranger game on Wed night and we had gone out to eat for dinner, we returned around 7:15 pm from dinner and the hotel was selling parking spaces to Ranger fans...not a problem except they did not save any spaces for PAYING hotel guests. They told us to valet and they would comp the valet fee...the $12.00 valet fee showed up on our bill at checkout. They hotel did take the fee off when he inquired, but it's a very deceptive practice. This should be fixed...not good business. Other than this the room was good and the hotel was clean and I would recommend to others...just check your bill before you leave!

Great overall stay with nice amenities. Loved the downstairs bar area and restaraunt. I stayed in the club level because the hotel operator told me that there was a private bar or lounge upstairs that would provide complimentary alchoholic beverages as well as snacks, drinks, bottled water, breakfast and privacy all within my hotel rate. When I got there this wasnt true at all. The bar tender told me that they now charge for all drinks and the breakfast was simply basic pastrys. I was very disappointed as I would have never paid the additional rate ... They tried to charge me $20 more for my rate apon checkout but the staff corrected it at my request. Very friendly staff and it was a good stay just not worth the club level.

This hotel is nicely-appointed and is attached to a convention center, which makes it convenient when one is attending events. However, any requests for basic services such as early check-in, late check-out, etc. were essentially ignored. Any calls to request such services to customer service or guest services were promptly denied, however very politely. In addition, the hallways were extremely loud with several young people talking and partying outside of their rooms well into the wee hours of the morning. As I travel very frequently for business and am a rewards member of several major hotel chains, I had expected a higher level of customer service and quality from a Sheraton family hotel. I was surprised to be disappointed.

Had a Sun-Tues conference at this hotel. Arrived Sunday evening at 4:00 pm and waited it lobby for over 4 hours, along with many others, to get assigned a room. They were waiting for rooms to get cleaned. Store ran out of Starbucks supplies and other items were gone immediately due to all the people. There were issues with serving lunch in the restaurant on Monday. It was clear they were not staffed appropriately to meet the needs of the participants at this conference. Very nice, clean rooms. Would recommend this hotel unless it was for a conference event.

I have been to Washington dozen of times and stayed both in the city and on the outskirts. This was my first time at this hotel and I was wooried about the shuttle. The hotel has 3 shuttles and they are the most reliable ones I ever have taken. This is a very nice hotel that makes up on its few minor shortcomings with great staff and customer service. From checking in with Lemar at the front desk, he knows the true meaning of customer service and he was very nice. One of the best front desk staff I have ever met. He knew my wife and I just arrived tired after a 4 hour drive and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and get us to our room ASAP. The hotel garage is very convenient and the Concierge Lounge for starwwod members is one of the best. We visited it in the evening and in the morning and the offerings are great. It has to have the best view of Washington DC I have ever seen. The lady in the lounge went out of her way in the evening to show us all of the locations and we had a nice conversation with her. this staff is one of the most attentive I have ever seen and I have over 50 stays at Starwood properties this year. This hotel is a must stay and I definately will return.

When I checked in, the employee assisting me did get me checked in quickly, however he didn't offer any information on where to go for the breakfast that was included in my room rate. I have never been to a hotel where the employee checking me in didn't make an effort to let me know when and where breakfast was. Also, they put me in a room located directy behind the elevators. Needless to say, I got no sleep due to listening to the elevators go up and down all night long. Make sure you request not to be booked into one of these rooms if you stay here.

Most of my stay was very satisfactory and pleasant except for the service I received at the club on the 18th floor. The breakfast attendant was very nice and courteous but the evening attendant was very rude and kept announcing when they were closing as if she had some place to go and we should hurry up and leave and complained about how much my kids were eating. Then she offered everyone in the room more snacks except my children I was very upset and will never pay extra for that feature again!

First visit & first impression - a "skink" i called it to the front desk. They said it was the new SPG-mandated fragrance - Mocha. I tried not to be rude, but was - let it slip I'll call it Sheraton Stink. It was overpowering, but fortunately, did not make it up to the rooms. When I stepped into the office the next morning, about four nicely dressed office staff was there. When I mentioned I found it overpowering, and even a bit "gross," you would have thought by looks on face of each and every one of the four that I had just called the mothers or babies ugly. Oh well, I came back again, and the Sheraton "aroma" as just as prevalent. At least i was not surprised, and I kept my mouth shut. Rest of feedback on hotel is Sheraton standard - good.

There were stains on the carpet, upholstered chairs, bedding, and even down the hallway. There was something sticky on the guest services book. The bedding looked wrinkly like it was wadded up in a ball before it was put on the bed. The club lounge was disappointing. The first time we went up there to check out the "all day snacks" there was a big bowl with remnants of peanuts and a few granola bars, not impressive. When we went back for the continental breakfast, the small amount of food that we did see looked picked over and not appealing. The only thing we really enjoyed about this hotel was that we could walk to the ball game, but when it was raining and we asked for the "free shuttle" that was advertised they told us it was not available.

Great hotel if you're going to Six Flags or the stadiums in Arlington, TX as they are all very close. Not so great if you're in town for business and in need of high-speed broadband access. Wifi signal on the 19th floor was barely useable, plugging in via ethernet provided constant connection, but not fast enough to support web conferencing/video. Bed wasn't as comfortable as the Westin beds and the rooms were dated in decor, but clean. Staff at the front desk and in the club lounge were responsive and helpful.

We made reservations months ago - my son was getting married and had his reception there. So there were several family members that stayed there also.
When we arrived - the reservation was not correct. Was supposed to be for a Jr. Suite with 2 double beds, and pull out couch. They one king size bed room, no refrigerator nothing. We made do for two nights but was not what we reserved & had not were to keep drinks cold etc.
Very disappointing with all the money spent there for the reception, several rooms, etc. The staff at the front counter didn't seem to concerned that the reservation wasn't correct. We were also told on the phone that some rooms include breakfast and ours might. At the hotel we were told nothing about breakfast included or not.

Really had a great experience at this hotel until I went to book a room for January 2015. Was told I could not book but no reason was given. I was very disappointed in this transaction as I really wanted to stay at this hotel again.

Just wanted to say how impressed I was by the service of the restaurant staff and check in personnel at the Sheraton Arlington. Spencer, Channing, and Delbert were outstanding. Extremely professional and courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate my team and I. We were very pleased with this stay and I highly recommend this location to people traveling in the Arlington area.

Hotel has been the preferred venue for my trade association for quite a few years now.
The linens and by extension the room smelled as if the sheets were washed WITHOUT laundry detrgent. Sweaty, musty, stuffy smell.
Toilet was on the verge of overunnig, addressed by maintenance.
Very uncharacteristic of this particular hotel.
Have stayed there for at least 8-10 years during our annual convention and did not expect that.
Hotel's coffee shop staff were overwhelmed and that during mid morning. 6-8 tables did it.
Front desk and Bell stuff were fantastic.
You got to do something with the hotel. Nothing has changed there in 10 years, add a bad smell and you are done.
I will not stay there next year during our convention in late February.

My stay was marked by inconsistencies.
The first room "upgrade" was a small room next to elevator. Noise level did not permit a good night rest. The lounge was closed two of the three days. Although I got a breakfast voucher, the restaurant did not have all menu items and had to wait 45 minutes to get service. Despite being a game day frankly the hotel service and staff's attitude appeared/behaved as if the hotel was going out of business. Staff exhibited some of the same problems noted at the Maria Isabel facility in Mexico City.

We are locals and stayed at your hotel because my older son was off at summer camp. This left my little guy feeling a little lonely and blue. Your facility and amenities provided the "Wow" factor I was looking to share with my son. We stayed on the 19th floor to enjoy the great view. We swam for hours in the very kid friendly pool and even enjoyed the movie from the pool after dark. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We could not have been happier. Thank you!

The Sheraton Arlington should get out of the shuttle service. It was nice to be picked up at DFW and i realize their were over 400 people registered for my conference, I understood the wait and the trip of a little over an hour. Do not tell me that you will take you to a near by restaurant and that you will pick me up and return to the hotel. After I called to be picked up at the restaurant, it was over an hour before you showed at the restaurant.
The trip back took less than 5 minutes with a stop to pick up another guest.

I stayed at this hotel and forgot my iPhone charger. Next day, I called them up to see if it's in lost and found. They said it will be deposited in lost and found and will confirm me. After multiple follow ups they never got back to me. Every time, they would say talk to housekeeping or talk to some one else. I wanted my charger immediately as phone was dead and no option to buy new/original one. I ave stayed at better hotels whose staff are honest and they are prompt in resolving issues and following up with consumer.
