Rated 5 out of 5 by hotel great location sent my sons family they took excellent care of them July 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Make sure you specify to not be put by elevators When I checked in, the employee assisting me did get me checked in quickly, however he didn't offer any information on where to go for the breakfast that was included in my room rate. I have never been to a hotel where the employee checking me in didn't make an effort to let me know when and where breakfast was. Also, they put me in a room located directy behind the elevators. Needless to say, I got no sleep due to listening to the elevators go up and down all night long. Make sure you request not to be booked into one of these rooms if you stay here. November 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff The staff at this hotel was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. I love the shuttle service - definitely a plus - very easy and convenient. Thank You August 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton as expected, less the new "aroma" First visit & first impression - a "skink" i called it to the front desk. They said it was the new SPG-mandated fragrance - Mocha. I tried not to be rude, but was - let it slip I'll call it Sheraton Stink. It was overpowering, but fortunately, did not make it up to the rooms. When I stepped into the office the next morning, about four nicely dressed office staff was there. When I mentioned I found it overpowering, and even a bit "gross," you would have thought by looks on face of each and every one of the four that I had just called the mothers or babies ugly. Oh well, I came back again, and the Sheraton "aroma" as just as prevalent. At least i was not surprised, and I kept my mouth shut. Rest of feedback on hotel is Sheraton standard - good. Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is not worth the money There were stains on the carpet, upholstered chairs, bedding, and even down the hallway. There was something sticky on the guest services book. The bedding looked wrinkly like it was wadded up in a ball before it was put on the bed. The club lounge was disappointing. The first time we went up there to check out the "all day snacks" there was a big bowl with remnants of peanuts and a few granola bars, not impressive. When we went back for the continental breakfast, the small amount of food that we did see looked picked over and not appealing. The only thing we really enjoyed about this hotel was that we could walk to the ball game, but when it was raining and we asked for the "free shuttle" that was advertised they told us it was not available. Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing We made reservations months ago - my son was getting married and had his reception there. So there were several family members that stayed there also. When we arrived - the reservation was not correct. Was supposed to be for a Jr. Suite with 2 double beds, and pull out couch. They one king size bed room, no refrigerator nothing. We made do for two nights but was not what we reserved & had not were to keep drinks cold etc. Very disappointing with all the money spent there for the reception, several rooms, etc. The staff at the front counter didn't seem to concerned that the reservation wasn't correct. We were also told on the phone that some rooms include breakfast and ours might. At the hotel we were told nothing about breakfast included or not. November 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Smelly Linen and Room. Hotel has been the preferred venue for my trade association for quite a few years now. The linens and by extension the room smelled as if the sheets were washed WITHOUT laundry detrgent. Sweaty, musty, stuffy smell. Toilet was on the verge of overunnig, addressed by maintenance. Very uncharacteristic of this particular hotel. Suprised me. Have stayed there for at least 8-10 years during our annual convention and did not expect that. Hotel's coffee shop staff were overwhelmed and that during mid morning. 6-8 tables did it. Front desk and Bell stuff were fantastic. You got to do something with the hotel. Nothing has changed there in 10 years, add a bad smell and you are done. I will not stay there next year during our convention in late February. February 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel was amazing Upon arrival we received a call to make sure everything was ok in the room and to see if we needed anything. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were on the club level and received excellent service. We liked the fact that this was a upscale hotel that allowed us to bring along our pet. It was both pet and kid friendly and in close proximity to shopping and dining. We will always use Sheraton for our home away from home. July 8, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unacceptable This property needs a major renovation. I was extremely disaasapointed in the lack of cleanliness of the rooms (stained carpet, a shoe print on the ceiling, broken lamp shades, etc). Another guest in our party found a used condom under their bed. Unacceptable. August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Is Shearaton going out of business? My stay was marked by inconsistencies. The first room "upgrade" was a small room next to elevator. Noise level did not permit a good night rest. The lounge was closed two of the three days. Although I got a breakfast voucher, the restaurant did not have all menu items and had to wait 45 minutes to get service. Despite being a game day frankly the hotel service and staff's attitude appeared/behaved as if the hotel was going out of business. Staff exhibited some of the same problems noted at the Maria Isabel facility in Mexico City. December 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to rest I have stayed at the Arlington Sheraton twice a year for business for seven plus years. Staff is always helpful and takes care of any special requests. Rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. I will definitely stay again. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Central Location If you are going to the Arlington, Texas area via airplane, this is a great location. Airport Shuttle, walking distance to Rangers Baseball, Cowboy Football, and Six Flags. August 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Location, food, bed good but room needs improvement Location for baseball, food, bed good but room needs improvement. Floor looked dirty and chairs had spots on them. I was suppose to have a king bed but was provided 2 double beds. Bathroom was small - door got in the way. August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel was good and the restaurant was excellent I'd like to thank everyone in the restaurant during the breakfast hours. Dell and the crew were friendly and attentive. Very nice to see. The room 717 was nice. The only suggestion I would have is that the electrical cords from the TV and lamps be more well kept. These cords were all over the place and in plain sight. Rated 1 out of 5 by Sheraton - Arlington TX - Aug 3 to Aug 5 Terrible service - initially given a room that was already occupied and there was no house cleaning August 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unbelivable for a Sheraton Property This property was in disrepair, the ceiling above the shower was coming down. The chairs in the room were filthy. I have never in my lifetime seen a carpet in a hotel that was so soiled and dirty. The lobby smelled like very strong mildew. As a meeting professional that travels extensively I was pretty stunned that they have the Sheraton name. Won't be staying at this hotel again. July 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel Great - Shuttle Service the WORST The Sheraton Arlington should get out of the shuttle service. It was nice to be picked up at DFW and i realize their were over 400 people registered for my conference, I understood the wait and the trip of a little over an hour. Do not tell me that you will take you to a near by restaurant and that you will pick me up and return to the hotel. After I called to be picked up at the restaurant, it was over an hour before you showed at the restaurant. The trip back took less than 5 minutes with a stop to pick up another guest. June 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by first stay Enjoyed our overall stay, but carpeting and décor was stained n outdated, AC vent blew directly onto bed, so sinuses acted up after sleeping there. Other than that, convenience to Globe Life Park, and food and beverages were great! want to come back! July 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not return forgotten items I stayed at this hotel and forgot my iPhone charger. Next day, I called them up to see if it's in lost and found. They said it will be deposited in lost and found and will confirm me. After multiple follow ups they never got back to me. Every time, they would say talk to housekeeping or talk to some one else. I wanted my charger immediately as phone was dead and no option to buy new/original one. I ave stayed at better hotels whose staff are honest and they are prompt in resolving issues and following up with consumer. September 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Hotel Bad Internet Speed The hotel is nice and the staff is responsive but the internet speed is terrible and when I say terrible I mean at times dial up speeds. I'm told they know about the problem but it will take months to get it replaced. I had the same experience a couple a months ago so I am going to stay away from this hotel as much as possible until it is fixed. July 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel looks nice enough... Front desk clerk was very friendly. First impression of room was urine odor in bathroom. Bathrooms are very small, opening the door barely clears the toilet. Left for dinner & asked front desk to have bathroom floor mopped. 3 hrs later on return, it had not been touched. Contacted housekeeping that claimed it had been cleaned & sprayed with air freshner. How were they able to replicate items that we left on the floor? It had not been cleaned! Moving to another room was offered at almost 11pm...who wants to do that? July 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay Overnight for college visit with another family. We had three rooms, three names on reservations, three arrival times, etc. The hotel executed perfectly. They do a really good job here, staff is helpful, rooms are comfortable and location is great. This is my third visit to this property, it is a pleasant place to stay. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendly staff Overall we had a very nice experience. The only compliant is I had requested an refrigerator in the room. I had to ask once we got to the room and then told it would be an extra $15.00. This wasn't relayed to me at the time I made the reservation. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by STEELERS1FAN Dawn and Skylar of the management staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect !! Its a pleasure when a business trip is flawless largely due to a great hotel helping out. An appreciative client. July 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel was significant disappointment I typically hold a high opinion of SPG hotels and look forward to a stay. I took my family to this hotel and was disappointed for many reasons: - Noise: Very loud music after 10pm - Pool area: no towels, no staff, pool and hot tub were dirty, chairs were broken - Wireless internet and Sheraton Link did not work - Dirty: Trash and unkept hallways, floors - Staff: No conceirge available to answer questions June 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed by housekeeping The housekeeping was poor: the condition of the beds was unsatisfactory (the duvet cover was dirty with a broken zipper and the beds were sloppily/poorly made; also, when i went to straighten the bed after sleeping in it i found the mattress had no actual mattress cover, just a folded up and poorly placed bed sheet which was sitting atop a stained mattress); there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom so when we went to wash up in a rush we had to stop what we were doing to call the front desk and request some, they did get it to us quickly; the curtain rod was about to pop out of the wall; the bathroom sink had nasty mold growing under the rim; the chairs in the room had dirty stains. Oh and as you walked down the hall to the room, you could smell mold quite definitively. December 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by High dollar rooms for Loud Noises Stayed here for Bead Fest. On March 28 there was a loud party down the hall until 4:30 am. Management did nothing. Also, was a band playing on the 2nd floor until midnight also loud! The rooms are not quiet when someone talks while walking down the hallway. People coming back from the dinner for whatever convention were also loud at midnight. For a room costing $155 a night ($15 a night for fridge) it has nothing compared to other hotels for the same price. Very disappointed. I won't be back. April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel has great proximity at attractions After the Ranger/Yankee game Tuesday night, the bar needed more help July 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed We paid extra for the club level. The mattress in our room needs replacement badly! Every time one of us would turn over the other person was almost seasick! Worse than being on a waterbed the spings are so shot! No bathrobes in our room, the side light by the bed did not work. Made me question what else could be wrong. No one explained that the club level was on floor 18. We were on 17 when we paid for club level so we walked all of 17 looking for it. Had to go back downstairs to ask. The card key kept not wanting to work in the elevator. So not worth the money we paid. Worse night sleep I've ever had at a hotel. Won't be back. The gentleman at the front - no smile, no warmness - looked mad. Staff needs retraining on customer service. Was a milestone celebration that turned out badly. April 28, 2013
